Personality
Studious* Branna is very intelligent and takes great pride about it. She loves learning new things and studying anything she can get her hands on. Branna usually prefers studying than gossiping about others, but will occasionally listen, though she usually finds the information useless.
Generous* Branna hates being mean to people, and usually she is very kind and giving, but if she needs to be, branna will put her foot down and make sure everything runs smoothly.
Artistic* Branna prides herself for being able to paint, draw, and write. she enjoys painting and drawing the most, and will write short stories that go along with her art works. only the royals in her family have ever seen one of Branna's paintings, due to the fact that she can be very scared of being largely criticized, but when she needs to be she faces it head on and puts on a brave front so she will not disgrace her family.

Who I Once Was
[/color][/font]On October 31, 1994, King Padraig and Queen Katrien welcomed their first child and heir to the throne. Their daughter was a blue eyed, raven haired little girl whom they rightfully named Branna Leila seeing as the name Branna means “beauty with hair as dark as a raven” and the name Leila means “dark-haired beauty” the names were only fitting for the beautiful little princess. Branna was always a happy baby, though she tended to keep to herself, Branna quickly showed signs of being very smart. She was very close to her younger sister, Aisling, but not as close with her little brother Tristan though she still loved him to death. King Padraig and Queen Katrien had been best friends with the French King and Queen in their own schooling days and were happy to finally show their friends that they now had their own child who could play with and visit the French monarch’s two children.

History
As Branna reached her toddler years, she showed signs of loving the arts in all forms, though her best being vocal, dancing, and especially painting. Queena Katrien quickly noticed this and set Branna up in vocal and dance classes, and gave her all the art supplies her little heart desired. From then on Branna was making various art pieces, though were nothing overly spectacular, they were still amazing works for a toddler. Seeing as Branna was a shy girl, she hardly sang or painted in front of anyone, though occasionally she would dance if her father asked her. The only person who could get Branna to freely sing openly was her little sister, Aisling who was always there for Branna along with their cousin Dario who was more like an older brother to Branna than anything seeing as he was so protective of her. Branna, like all the Irish royals, also had trouble sleeping at night and tended to paint, dance, or sing while the servants slept.
Tragedy struck the palace when Branna almost lost her life, due to her careless nurse maid who had not been watching the young princess while she was playing in the waves of the ocean near the summer palace. Branna had been saved by her future servants father, who then just asked in payment that his son could serve the future queen. The queen had just recently given birth to the young prince and had demanded that the nurse maid who had not watched her child be fired and the servant who had saved her child‘s life‘s wish be granted. Queen Katrien was fiercely protective of her children and having just given birth intensified that protectiveness ten fold. Branna had only been three years old, and has never entered water that even covers her toes since then. She starts to scream hysterically and panic if the water does pool around her feet. The only form of water that Branna is not scared of is rain, in fact Branna loves the rain and loves to dance outside when it is raining. It was also the year that the young princess Aisling started having nightmares and Branna became the rock of the three children, she realized that she was one day going to be a queen and needed to take care of her people. Branna started pushing all of her wants and needs to the side, and started to take care of anyone else before herself. She started leaving her door open for her little sister to get into when she got scared and started singing her little sister to sleep once she realized it calmed the younger girl down immensely.
When it was time for Branna to leave her homeland for America to study with the other royal children, Branna was terrified. She had met a few her own age on various occasions, and already knew the French royals though she had only gotten along with the youngest two for some years now, Branna put on her strong brick wall face and left with many promises to write and be home for the holidays. On her first day at Vineheart Academy, Branna met Catherine Victoria of England and soon became best friends with the girl. On that same day, she also met the boy who she would always love, though they would go through quite a few rough spots together also. Matvei Anatoli of Russia, was Branna’s first and only love and also her love at first sight. The two met by the lake, where Branna had been sketching, and Matvei had went to pull a prank on her, though once seeing her he instead started talking to her. The two quickly became inseparable and after only knowing each other for a few short weeks, Matvei asked her out at the very spot they met at. Branna happily accepted having already fallen for the handsome Russian prince. The two dated for another two months, but after Christmas break came and went, Branna come back to Vineheart only to see Matvei kissing a servant, Isabella Liliana Ortega. Heartbroken and angry, Branna broke up with Matvei and refused to see him. Branna had already been a very amazing student, but after the break up she took to throwing herself into her studies and giving up all social activities minus being with Catherine. family parties and royal parties she had to attend. She took up running cross country and track so she could literally run away from him if she ever had to. Eventually running became another thing that calmed the fiery princess down. Branna had always had a temper but now that her boyfriend had cheated on her and her servant then had to leave her shortly after to take care of his sick father, Branna felt alone and only confided in Catherine and only wrote a few letters here and there to her family and servant.
The summer before Branna’s third year, Branna went to a competition under disguise, and performed with her dance partner Kieran. That night, Branna slept with him and attempted to get over Matvei by finally dating another person. Of course, she didn’t love Kieran, but she wanted to try. After two dates and a few kisses, both Branna and Kieran realized that they would never love each other in that way, and broke up. Many months into the year already, she finally allowed Matvei to explain himself and got back together with him after finding out it was all a big misunderstanding. Branna won Rose Ball Queen and slept with Matvei, though lied and said that she had never dated after him and that he was her first time. She had been denying the fact that she had slept with Kieran, even to herself, but once going home for summer vacation and bringing Matvei with her, she realized that she had to face the truth. Matvei over heard her and Kieran talking and became angry, the two didn’t break up but took a break that involved Branna fleeing Ireland for two weeks, with Matvei still there, and only talking to him when he tried talking to her. Her temper got the better of her during some conversations, but she could never stay mad at him because he was right and she was wrong. The two made up days before leaving for Serbia to attend Nada and Theo’s wedding. Now Branna is entering her fourth year and hoping that it will all be better.
