Noah could be that rock that the future Queen needed and he planned to be her biggest supporter when it came to everything. He would support her ruling decisions and he would support her by doing as he was asked. If she asked him to go to meetings for her then he would gladly do that. In ways he could be an asset since he spoke a few lanuages and that was always helpful in the world for foreign diplomicacy. But he just felt this overwhelming anxiety about ruling and about becoming a King that scared him. Once he tried to talk to Fred about it but that conversation didn't really take off since Fred didn't seem to be in the mood, but he hoped that it wasn't just a feeling that he had. As long as he made Frida happy and he supported her then he knew that he would make a good king. Of course that decision was so far away so he didn't have to be bothered by it, instead he needed to just enjoy thier relationship.
As he looked across the table at her he saw the faint blushing on her cheeks and he smiled. She was just so pretty and such a great person that he just considered himself the most lucky man in the entire world to have found someone so wonderful. "Frida... I... you are the most amazing person." He must have looked stupid stumbling over his words and ideas as they ran through his head. "I... I more than like you.... I love you." He finally got it out after several stumbles and a moment of panic where he was thinking in German instead of English. But now came the most instense moments of his life as he just waited for her to speak the same words back to him. Any guy would be paniced right now and Noah was definately freaking out.
Meeting his mother was mentioned and he smiled. "I know that she will love you. She is a great judge of a person's character and I know that she will see all of the good in you and just fall in love with you." He was lucky that Frida's mother liked him as much as she did but he was not worried about his mother loving Frida.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Their relationship had been full of nothing but good things. In the six months the two of them had spent together, the only downside to their relationship was the distance they were apart. Frida knew that would only get worse as Noah graduated and left to attend university with Fred, but she had no doubt that the two of them would make it through whatever life decided to throw out at them. Noah already had the most important person’s approval – her mother’s, the current Queen of Iceland. There was no doubt in her mind that, when the time was right, he would indeed make a magnificent King, but there was plenty enough time for that. She didn’t know if he had approached that subject with anyone – if he had, she assumed it would have been Fred simply because that was who he worked for and he was also an heir himself. She knew that his love for languages would come in handy, and having been a servant for another heir from a different country would help in a lot of ways for diplomacy. Looking over the table at him, with her face flushed, she fluttered her eyelashes nervously. As he spoke, his voice commanded all of her attention and she waited as he finished the statements, proclaiming how he felt for her. She felt her mouth slightly open at his profession of love and she quickly recovered and looked away briefly before letting her eyes meet his again. ”You’re the wonderful one Noah, and I… I… I love you, too.” She said softly, her hand resting in his and tightening her grip slowly. Finally speaking the words she had been holding in, she let out a small sigh of relief. As the conversation moved to his mother, she smiled. ”Oh good. I’ve been so nervous about meeting her; I know how much she means to you. I wish your sister were coming though, I’ve been dying to meet the other girl who holds your heart.” And that was true, Frida knew how much Noah’s little sister meant to him.

Did he think that he would make a good king? Absolutely not! Noah was a quiet individual who perfered to stay hidden in the background if at all possible but to become king. To lead a group of people and make sure that they did not kill each other or him. That would be difficult but everyone seemed to think that Noah was up for such an awful task. To be honest he felt like he was standing at the bottom of a pit looking up towards the light. The walls were smooth, only making the task much more difficult but everyone kept insiting that he could climb the walls. At least Frida believed in him and that was the most important thing. If she wanted him to be her King then he would glady do it for her any day. Now he just hoped that she would help him along the way.
Forming the words had come very difficultly to him since he was sort of jaded on the whole idea of love and marriage. People did find happiness but he knew the hardships that most would endure when it came to finding their soulmates. But when he looked over at Frida he knew that was something special between them, something that no one else would understand by just looking at them. The moment was tense for him and he could feel her hand gripping his tighter as she spoke the same words back to him. They both gave that same sigh of relief as the act of confessing ove was completed. "I am glad that you said it back." He confessed after a moment.
Then more talk of his mother and her up coming visit. Noah had already taken the days around graduation off from work, as would be expected, so he could entertain his mother who would be staying in a local hotel. "Joanna is like any little sister and I know that you have enough of those to go around." He commented. "Come visit me in England and then you can meet her. I should be home for a few weeks in the summer."

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Being an heir meant so many different things, and your attitude towards it is what could make it or break it. As for Frida, she had approached it with all the positivity she could, yet sometimes she felt as though it were not enough. The pressure put on her by the Icelandic government to marry before she was coroneted was enough to make her turn grey prematurely, and let’s face it – how attractive would that be? It had taken a lot of tooth and nail pulling to convince them otherwise, but since that one drag down, knock out disagreement, learning to become Queen had been painless. Noah was very selfless, and that was one reason she was drawn to him in the way that she was. He would have made any girl the luckiest one in the world, but he had chosen her. Anything he needed help with, she would be there the whole way. Love had never been high on list of priorities. Noah was someone who had happened into her life purely by accident, but he had stayed on purpose and that was what made it real for her. She had tried to keep herself from falling for the servant of the eldest Swiss prince, but it had failed miserably. It had happened a lot quicker than she had expected, but once her mother had met him, she knew it was okay. A relationship with a future Queen held a different value than being in a relationship with just a regular girl… once you started thinking about the future, you had to visualize yourself as a king and that was enough to scare most people away. ”I was beginning to worry if we ever were. I’ve felt it for a long time.” She confessed to him softly. Laughing at his comment about younger sisters, she simply shook her head at him. ”I may have three of them, but I doubt they’re anything like yours. Besides, what would one more hurt?” She said, her eyes twinkling as she looked at him. Thinking ahead to summer, she did a mental calculation of what plans were set in stone already. ”I should be able to get away for a little while. Will I get to see your home and everything?!” It was hard to contain her excitement now. The prospect of meeting Joanna and seeing his true home meant the world to her.

There was always a side of Noah that hated the idea of bringing Frida to his home in England because it was tiny. The room he stayed in while visiting her was larger than the living room, kitchen, single bathroom, and dinning room. It only had two bedrooms and it was what his mother and step father could afford but Noah knew that they loved it since they always called it cozy. Frida would have to stay at a hotel if she came to visit unless she wanted to sleep on Noah's bed which doubled as the living room couch. The idea of Frida sleeping on the couch amused him since he knew that she would do it for him but he knew that she was a princess and deserved better than sleeping on a couch.
"And I've felt it too." He replied. Noah really wanted to know Frida as a person and his hormones were starting to drive him wild when he looked at her. She was so pretty and he loved her smile. "I doubt that one more sister would hurt but I doubt that my mother would let you take her away." He replied with a smile. His mother loved both of her children even one of them technically didn't have a father. "If you want to see my home then alright but just so you know its not quite as big as your home." He explained but he assumed that she would guess something like that. They had talked about his home life she knew it wasn't the richest. "It will be fun since I've already seen your home but you might want to get a hotel since we don't really have a guest room."

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- What kind of Queen would she be if she ever looked down on someone because her station in life was different than someone else’s? You could not help what you were born into, and she knew better than anyone that you make the best with what you have. Iceland was like any other country and they had their share of lower class families and unemployment, but as the future Queen, she had to treat everyone the same and remain fair in all she decided. Her father and mother had instilled this in her as she grew up and went through training to become Queen. Frida had never visited him at his home, but she was excited to go over the summer. She only knew what he had told her, but it sounded wonderful. She had known nothing but the palace and quiet estates her family had access to throughout Iceland, and of course other countries’ palaces when visiting for political reasons. But she was up for anything new; she had always wondered what a quiet life would be like. ”Noah, I don’t know what I would do without you.” She said softly, in response to his profession. Six months had flown by and she was the happiest she had even been. He was so handsome that sometimes, he simply took her breath away. She had fallen in love with the goodness she saw in him, as well as everything about him. Speaking of his sister again, she smiled. ”I just want to borrow her every once in a while.” She said jokingly. She took another few small bites of her food, before finishing her drink. The server came around to refill it, and her eyes glittered as she looked at Noah in adoration. ”I think a quiet life might would be kind of wonderful. But a hotel? Noah, I want to stay with you and see your home and spend as much time as I can with your family.”

Although he knew that she was kind and fair to people in all walks of life he still wasn't sure about her coming to visit and actually staying with him, if that is what she wanted. She would be sleeping on a couch and that sounded like it would be outside of her comfort zone but Noah knew that she was full of surprises. He shouldn't be so quick to rush to conclusions. Maybe she wanted to experience his life outside of Vineheart and she was willing to do whatever he did. And he loved that about her. He loved how she was fair and kind and never looked down on him. There were a few people at Vineheart that did look down on thier servants and Noah was lucky to have found the people that treated thier servants well. Afterall they were just teenagers trying to finish up highschool and go onto college.
"And I don't know what I would do without you either." He knew... he would finish up this year and then go to college with his boss. From there he would get a degree and then go back to England to work until he died. The regular life was not exciting and he imaged that his employment would be ended as soon as his boss became king. Servants were dismissed so regularly that it didn't phase him. He knew that his Boss was appriecative of Noah's loyality so maybe he would get to work for him while he was king. However he never saw himself acting as a servant until he died.
"Alright but I warn you... Its a small house and you will probably be sleeping on a couch while I sleep on the floor." The floor sounded nice and it would stretch out his back so he was alright with it. Plus he had spent many nights on the floor when he was little. "But I am sure that my family would love to have you vist... I know that I am looking forward to it." He couldn't wait to spend lots of time with her over the summer since neither would have to worry about schoolwork and stuff.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- When it all came down to it, Noah had hit the nail right on the head – everyone at Vineheart was simply just that, a teenager trying to get through high school. Some would go on to college, and some would go back to their home country and begin more extensive training to be King or Queen, or in a servant’s case, simply to be there for their royal in whatever capacity they needed to be whether it was as a bodyguard or what have you. Frida had never felt as though she needed one – she had managed her whole life without one, and doubted she would ever have the need for one. Iceland was rather good about keeping friends and not making enemies, so it was not as if there were people out to destroy her country. Fridrika genuinely wanted to know what kind of experiences had made Noah the way he was – his life before Vineheart, the life waiting for him to return too, his upbringing, his family, and everything in between. She would have gone so far as to say that Noah was her best friend, after the German and French princesses that doubled as her roommates of course. She smiled at his confession, and stroked his hand softly as she finished her meal. He was not far behind her in finishing the food set before them. ”I could be sleeping outside, and it wouldn’t matter, as long as I was with you. Don’t you get it by now? I’m better by your side. I don’t like picturing my life without you.” She said simply. As he paid the check, she stood, and waited for him to come to her side. Taking his hand in hers, they walked to the car. ”Now, for your present.”
