It had been a long time since Vivien had really spent any time with her youngest sister. In fact, she couldn't quite remember the last time she had. The two had never been close, but there was no one to blame for that fact but herself. She had been so entirely focused on he crown that nothing else had mattered, not even family. It was Gabriella that had really opened her eyes to this. The way she had treated her sister was unforgivable, and it was only the sense of guilt afterwards and her words during heir last meeting that had fueled her to reconnect with her siblings, and try her best to undo the damage she had already done. It would be difficult, yes, and being Vivien she wished they could just magically repair themselves, but sadly, relationships don't work that way, so she actually had to put effort into them.
So, Vivien had invited her little sister Rose over to her dorm for tea, and then they'd go do...whatever Rose liked to do. She realized while she was planning this she had absolutely no idea what her sister liked to do, so she figured she'd leave it open, and just start with a classic British custom everyone in the family loved: tea.
Drumming her fingers on the table as she watched her servant prepare the tea and lay out a few pastries and scones for them to choose from, Vivien wasn't quite sure how her sister would react to this. To be honest, she wasn't even sure how much her sister liked her, if even at all. She had just never really....thought about her much before all this. Yes, it sounded harsh, but the facts wee facts. So, she waited for a knock on the door, and quickly got up off her couch to open it for her guest, er, sister. "Rose! Come in." She said cordially, showing her sister into the room. "I wasn't quite sure what you wanted to do... so I thought tea would be fine for now?" She questioned with an awkward smile. This was going to be difficult. these dry bones cry for you |

Also, rouge is the old term used for blush, and I still think that they use it sometimes in England. Just in case you didn't know. |
[/div] She waited outside her sister's dorm room, just, well, waiting. Well, that wasn't exactly true. She was also worrying. Worrying that they wouldn't get along after all these years of not talking to each other, like, at all. Rose gulped nervously, then almost jumped as the door opened. She nodded at her Vivien's invitation in, and brightened as the smell of Earl Grey tea, and other teas too, filled her nose. Even though she wasn't all that girly, she was a princess and one from England, no less. Of course she liked tea.
Rose blanched at her sister's words, well, more their tone than the words themselves. "Of course I don't mind. After all, we are brits," she relied, smiling slightly at her small joke. Waiting for Vivien to show her to her seat, Rosemary looked around the room. It was, "Splendid." Then she realized she had saidd it out loud, and blushed immensely.
"Um, sorry. I was just thinking out loud," she said to her sister, still blushing, but not as profusely. "I meant that your room was splendid, V-Viv." She was trying. She really was, and the saying of her sister's nickname was a sign of her trying. Her green eyes were looking downwards, and she was still blushing, although it was only lookign as if she had put pink rouge on. Although, almost everyone would know that it wasn't blush she had put on, but that she actually was blushing, because almost everyone knew that the youngest daughter of the King and Queen of England never wore makeup.
"Er, could you teach me something? I mean, like, um, teach me how to, uh, look pretty?" she whispered, embaresssed, and practically her whole face was now red. Rose gulped once more, waiting for Vivien's response to that question. Rose had never though she was pretty, and now that she was aware of the male sex, everything was changing. forgotten the tastes and smells of a world that she's left behind

Vivien couldn’t help but notice her sister blush. It was sweet, almost like she was nervous about being there. Then again, she wouldn't put it past her to be nervous. Vivien was a rather intimidating person on first glance, and well, second. Besides, the two barely knew one another, even if they were sisters. They had grown up totally separately, and she knew there was some animosity towards herself on her sister’s part. In fact, she was slightly surprised she was here at all. No, not upset in any way, quite the opposite. Vivien was extremely glad her sister had shown up. It showed that there was going to be some way to reconnect with her after all, and it wasn’t totally and completely a lost cause, like she feared it might be.
Vivien grinned as her sister commented on their mutual british heritage, and love of tea. So, she had guessed right. No good Englishman could refuse a steaming hot cup of the best blend of Earl Gray. She raised her eyebrows at Rose as she noticed a sort of nervous stutter in her voice. She had figured she was nervous, but it was only that moment she saw quite how much. Vivien tried to put on a friendlier face and get rid of the awkwardness that currently surrounded them. “Thank you.” She replied to her sister’s compliment, “Mom would only hire the finest to decorate.” She laughed, referring to her mother’s excessive spending on herself, making sure every detail of her life was absolutely perfect, down to the last square inch.
She raised her eyebrows again at her sister once they were actually seated with tea in their hands. Vivien hadn’t expected a question like that. In fact, she was fairly sure her sister had never asked her for any sort of favor in her entire life, probably due to pure intimidation, she assumed. At first, she didn’t really know how to respond, and opened her mouth to say something, but closed it again, to think. A smile spread across her face with the sudden realization that she might mean a makeover. Makeovers were Vivien’s absolute favorite. She loved the chance to be in control, and show other’s how to be as perfect as she was. ”Sure!” She said to her sister, a slightly surprised tone still in her voice. “I mean, yes, of course! What exactly did you have in mind?” these dry bones cry for you |

[/div] She blinked. Once, then twice, then thrice, just to make sure that this was the real world. Had she really just said that? That she wanted to look... pretty? Gulping nervously, she knew that her sister could see the blush on her face, and blushed slightly more under her sister's eyes. Then, Vivien said the unthinkable, at least, to Rose's ears.
She whirled around, trying to hide a smile on her dark, but pale, face at her sister's eagerness. "Um, I don't know. What about shopping? Well, when we're done with tea," she said, smiling politely. Then she whispered, almost to herself, "I could use some dresses and makeup."
Once again, Rosemary couldn't figure out why she was saying what she was saying. Why? Why, oh, why? What is wrong with me? she wondered in her head. Her heart pounded, as did her head, as she waited for Vivien's response. In fact, Rose felt like fainting. She gulped, and wished there was something to fan herself with.
Then, she remembered. She had forgotten to eat anything that whole day, and half of the day before, her nervousness making her stomach not want food. "Man. Hey Viv, I, um, haven't eaten anything yet today, or yesterday, so I feel slightly diz-" Just then, she collapsed, her legs giving out.
"Ow," she said, then smiled a little bit. I didn't really hurt that much, rigt? It was just a slight bruise on both of her knees. Rose frowned soon after, the pain coming back. It was mostly her stomach that was hurting, just because she hadn't eaten half her lunch or her dinner yesterday, and hadn't eaten anything at all today.
Just then, her stomach growled, making her blush. It was quite a large rumble and soon she burst out laughing, her previous pain forgotten. forgotten the tastes and smells of a world that she's left behind

Vivien couldn't help but grin as her sister mentioned shopping. Not only was it one of vivien's favorite activities, but the idea of giving her little sister a makeover and then getting to choose her wardrobe for her was just too perfect. "you've come to the right person." she replied with a huge grin, "I know the perfect places to go! We're going to have so much fun." she laughed. She had need dreamed things with her sister would be going so well so quickly. She had prepared for a massive fight, filled with criticisms and accusations, that could only lead to tears. This was totally and utterly the opposite, and vivien just couldn't help but feel relieved. Maybe her little sister really didn't loathe her to the extent she had originally thought.
In just a split second, vivien stared in horror as her little sister dropped to the floor in a faint. "Rose!" vivien screamed in surprise, and quickly called for her servant at the top of her voice, who came running into the room almost immediately, knowing full well the consequences if vivien was displeased at their speed. With a puzzled expression on her face, vivien watched her sisters expression changed to a slightly embarrassed looking laughing one. "rose, are you alright?" she questioned rather frantically, nothing but concern on her face. She was honestly scared for her, people did not just normally faint out of the blue, so something must be wrong. "do yo need something to eat?" she questioned, still concerned, referencing the grumble her sister's stomach had just emitted. She quickly yelled at her servant to bring her sister something more substantial to eat than just the small tea cakes and pastries that were laid out earlier. They might be delicious, but hey we're the opposite of substantial, especially if one was famished. With a sigh, she questioned her sister, "have you had anything to eat recently, rose?" she hoped her sister handy developed some strange eating disorder or something because of the way her family had treated her. Vivien would never be able to forgive herself if that was true.
(I'll make this pretty later, on my phone!)
