Hair As almost customary for the Russian royal line, Ana's hair is a deep, rich chocolate that only comes to lighten in the summer months when she gains the most sun exposure. Her dark locks hold a subtle, but visible, curl to them, and are trained to be pulled up in the most intricate of up-do's. She has a rather prominent fringe to cover her slightly large forehead.
Eyes Stazy's eyes are just like her father's; perfect almonds and impossibly green, though mixed with a little yellow during the summer months. The green orbs are framed by dark and long lashes that are very thick and match the shade of her hair and eyebrows perfectly.
Height Unfortunately for Ana, she isn't the tallest of beings, and wishes she was taller than her tiny five foot frame.
Features One of the most striking things about Anastasiya is her odd and somewhat unusual beauty, soft and delicate like her second youngest brother. Her face is round and child-like, with pale porcelain skin, reminiscent of a porcelain doll. Coupled with her small stature, one could place a pretty dress on her and force her onto a shelf, and she would fit right in. Her sweet face is accented by high cheek bones and full, lush lips just under her small, button nose. Her body is small and petite, perfect for her dance. Despite her stature, she moves with a grace and confidence all of her own, and one would never notice that she was fazed by her height.

Personality
To understand who Anastasiya is you have to know who she was before the reality that she would be running a country by herself set in around age twelve. The thought alone has affected her greatly, and almost changed her completely, but she still holds a little bit of her old personality when she manages to dig it up to put on display. To the cameras and the public she's a happy, serene, charismatic, charming, beautiful, and soft girl, who is the crown jewel of a powerful nation she loves dearly. She's the perfect princess; respectful to everyone with a kind word and a soft voice, she's naturally beautiful but still remains modest and more concerned with the state of the nation than what she's wearing. She's like a doll; dainty, fragile, pale, with a sweet face and a kind smile. She laughs brightly at jokes, and smiles excessively and answers all questions with a nice word or a witty remark. But this isn't really Anastasiya. This is Anastasiya, Princess of Russia, not Anastasiya, the girl who slowly lost herself and became consumed with being something that other people wanted to her to.
A lot of Ana's personality still remains from the time she was happy and whole. Ever since she was little she's always been curious and interested in her surroundings. She craves knowledge and has a thirst that just can't seem to be quenched when it comes to reading and learning. She's an exceptional student, and always tries her best in class, one of the first to finish exams, and one of the students that always puts their hand up to answer questions the teachers ask. She's constantly reading and studying, and because of this she misses things like parties and sporting events, but she doesn't really like them anyway so it doesn't bother her. She can remember almost everything she sees or hears and can spew out random information at will.
She isn’t impulsive, and doesn’t do many things just on whim. Ana will try find everything that could go wrong by doing something before deciding if she's going to do it or not. The same thing goes with advice; she's good at giving it because she'll think of everything before saying anything. However, she will often get dragged into doing something reckless by the people who are closest to her, like her brothers, and finds herself taking the fall because she feels that it was her fault for not stopping them. She’s kind and compassionate, and never judges people on appearance or race. She doesn’t believe that anyone is better than anyone else, and doesn’t associate with people that do. She believes that everyone deserves a certain amount of respect as a human being, and that demeaning people just because your status is different than them, or that your parents run a country and what not.
She's an introvert, simply put. She doesn't really like being around people, and large crowds scare her. She gets nervous easily, and isn’t comfortable with many people around her or being the center of attention. She's insecure about herself, and knows that people are always judging her, and would like to keep that to a minimum. She appears frail and delicate, and that's because she is. She's distant and has been depressed since she began school, trying to stay away from the limelight so that she doesn’t get into scandal, her people don't lose hope in her because she isn’t what they need in a leader. She stays off to the side by herself and won't approach people unless she feels it absolutely necessary. She is, however, well mannered all the time and doesn't treat everyone different. Her reclusiveness is a problem that she is trying to deal with. She knows well that later on, once she graduates, she will be the one to take control of her country, and there will be a lot of attention placed on her. Freezing up in the middle of an important speech isn’t in her plans, and she’s been seeing people to help her open up more.
Stazy's a control freak, she knows it, her family knows it, and now you do. She's afraid of not knowing what's going to happen and she doesn't like the uneasiness that comes when you're in suspense with no prediction of the future. Even with class projects she's the bossier one, but she's subtle at it, not getting into the brut of it, but calmly guiding things her way from the side. She's usually busy and keeps herself on a tight schedule, and doesn't like to break it for anything. Obsessive compulsiveness keeps her this way, and causes her to spend a lot of time cleaning and rearranging her room and her day-planner, something she would die without.
She's always been a little spoiled, just like most kids that come from a royal family. But she was different; she was rewarded rather than just given things. When she did something particularly well, like a new piano piece, she would get a new dress. If she was behaving well at a party, her parents would let her stay up longer; from this came her hard-working and determined attitude. Now, when she wants something she won't just ask for it and then make a fit when she doesn't get it, she'll be denied it, then find a way to get it herself. It's the way she works.
Besides all this, Ana is actually a very caring and kind person, acting more like a mother to her three younger brothers than she is a sister, at least during school months. She watches over them and makes sure they don't get into too much trouble. She's very protective with them and will often take the fall for them when they do something wrong. She loves them despite the fact that they're the main reason why their mother ignores her. She doesn't care, she know that one day one of them will be sent off to another country, and wants to make sure they're prepared and that they can't be attacked anyway and lose their seat. She's sort of just softly happy, not overly smiling but not completely depressed either.
Who I Once Was

Parents Tsar Gavriil, Emperor and Autocrat of All the Russias & Empress Consort Luminita, Empress of all the Russias
Siblings 3 younger brothers, triplets
Cousins to the Romanian and Ukrainian nobles
History
As far as royal marriages go, Gavriil and Luminita's was normal. Large and opulent with a massive guest-list and an even bigger dress. The day passed without fail and the party drew on and into the night. Oddly enough, both of the royals were happy with the marriage; Gavriil had finally gotten over the last circumstance that lay between him and the title of emperor, while Luminita became the queen of a very large, rich and powerful country, one of the largest in the world. They got along fairly well together, but both stayed out of each other's way. Their personalities were completely different; Gavriil was quieter, calmer and had better control over things, while Luminita was reckless with her spending, her drinking and her partying, with a temper to boot. Luckily, their first child missed the cue of taking her mother's personality completely. So, within the first few years of their married life, the both of them just did their own thing, coming together only for public affairs, meals, and the fact that Russia needed an heir.
It didn't take them long to conceive a child; though they weren't the closest of couples, neither one of them was lacking in the looks department. And just a few months later, Anastasiya Svetlana Faina Roza was born, the perfect little bouncing baby that the country was waiting on. She was beautiful with her dark, curly locks, greener than green eyes, and the bright smile that stretched across her delicately boned face. The country had their few moments of complete and utter happiness, until they realized the one problem. It wasn't that she was premature or smaller than most babies were, oh no, they weren't concerned; she would have only the best doctors. She was a girl, and therefore would not be able to take over the country in the proper manner. So in love with their new princess, the Russian parliament allowed the Tsar to change the code and allowed his first born, a daughter, to take the throne when she became of age.
Though this angered some members of parliament and citizens, Anastasiya Svetlana was a beloved member of the royal family. She didn't fuss as a child, never cried unless she was hungry or tired. The people loved her, but they were concerned. She wasn't as healthy as she should be, and they feared that the extreme cold of the Russian winter would leave her sick and weak. Ana was no weak child, she caught a cold early on in February, but she battled it and got better quickly. It was then that they knew that she was going to be a fighter, and she wasn't going to give up easily. Almost like a wave, the relief washed over the country from one side to another; their Anastasiya was fine, and the Queen had just found that she was pregnant again.
Male. They were going to have a baby boy. The country was going to have a rightful, true heir. Anastasiya was put on the back burner by her pregnant mother and most of the people at the palace in favour of not only their first prince, but three. Although the law had been changed, the boys were still favoured over she, but her father soon saw what was happening, and made it evident to the public and the palace staff just who the heir was by bringing tutors and professors from all over to being his daughter’s schooling, even he himself taking a hand in it. At first Anastasiya didn't take well to her father, seeing as she hadn't really been around him and didn't recognize his face, but soon she wouldn't go to anyone else other than him. It started to become a real problem when they began to take her off formula and onto baby food. She wouldn't eat unless it was her father that fed her. Eventually, it became bad enough that the King had to sit down with his daughter, explain to her firmly that he couldn't be doing this all the time, and force her to understand. She was already well on her way to forming words and caught on to what her father was trying to explain to her.
She never complained there on out. Her brothers needed all the attention; they were slight troublemakers and couldn't be left for a minute on their own. Ana was understanding though, it didn't take much to grasp that the new babies needed to be watched more than she did; she was the calm one. She would play in her father's study at the foot of his desk and not get herself into something she shouldn't, or wander off where she shouldn't be, and waited patiently as people came in and taught her new things everyday. She stayed alone, just with her father in proximity most of the time, only being taken out when her mother wanted to show off her incredibly beautiful, angel-faced daughter to the world.
Much of Stasiya's childhood was spent like this; being put on the backburner to her brothers. It seemed that the country could still not get over the fact that they had princes, alright Ana was the rightful heir. She was perfectly content in keeping to herself, reading alone and only being put in direct contact with others during the one ballet lesson a week she would take in an actual class and not her studio in her wing of the home. Although her mother didn't care much for Ana and favoured her sons more, she still wanted her daughter to be the perfect little princess that everyone would envy.
Anastasiya couldn’t connect well with her brothers; they came to her when they did something wrong, and she would fix it before they had to tell someone, or take the fall herself. She was a big sister, it's what she did, but it hardly went further than that. She wasn’t included in their games and certainly didn’t do the ‘boy things’ with them. (Until the beginning of school, she hadn't really clicked with her brothers, but when they joined her at Vineheart it got better, and she now considers herself quite close with her youngest sibling, being quite protective of the youngest triplet. 0It didn't go unnoticed though, their mother remained oblivious, but her father noticed. His little princess was quite the dutiful, responsible girl when she needed to be.
When she got older she and her father only got closer. He would take her riding when they both had free time, or would play something for her to dance to, and sometimes taught her new pieces on the piano that she wasn't supposed to see for some time. The only real 'bonding' she and her mother had was shopping, and occasionally getting ready for parties. Other than that, she and her mother only interacted during meals, and even then there was a palpable tension between them. It was clear that the two women didn't get along, and probably never would.
It was hard for the family, well Anastasiya and her father, when Ana was sent to school at Vineheart. It was almost like a withdrawal, and she called her father everyday for a month before going to bed, just to talk. Eventually they managed to get it down to once a month after a while, both coming to a collective decision that Ana was going to need to become more independent. Their plan worked, and Zazzy became a little more comfortable being away from her father after a few months, though she still missed him. She wrote to him and called him frequently, but it wasn't bad like it had been. Still, she lived for the vacation time when she got to go home and see him, and her baby brothers.
In her letters to her father Ana described all of her classes, how easily she was taking to them, and how impressed her teachers were with her. She wrote a few lines about being interested in the dance club, but deciding against joining because she didn't want to be picked and prodded at by them. She had been trained by some of the best ballet teachers in the world, and they had agreed that she shouldn't taint her skill with other teaching. Ana didn't like the way they were speaking about the dance teachers at the school in the condescending tone, and told Mister Kirov that she wouldn't take lessons from him anymore if he continued demeaning the teachings of others who seemed to do fine on their own. He didn't have any response to that, but moved himself to Montana so that Stazy could take weekly lessons from him. Unfortunately, like many other ballerinas and those who needed to keep themselves fit for their sport, Ana fell into the trapings of an eating disorder. She'd skip meals and stop eating for days, eating just barely enough to keep herself going, excusing herself from meals saying she had other things to do, or that she'd take it up in her room. The combination of the pressure of her sport and that of her mother had collapsed on Ana in the worst of ways and she couldn't find a way out until she was sent to therapy for a very different reason, but a contributing factor nonetheless.
During the first few years, Anastasiya excelled in her schooling, but lacked in the social department. She wasn't the most popular girl, but her natural charm and charisma brought some people to her. She gained a few close friends, and held them dear to herself, almost on the same level as her brothers, who were now occupying the school under the watchful eye of their (not so) big sister. She did everything with her friends: they went shopping, talked about boys, and laughed over the fact that Ana's room was more immaculate than a nunnery. She grew accustomed to her little quirks, but was never overly confident in herself. She didn't 'strut' like some of the other girls did, but just flowed gracefully in the back, content to stay out of the immediate attention. Those few friends accepted her somewhat closed off personality and didn’t push her too much.
Unlike most young people, Anastasiya spent her precious summer days inside, moping around the palace, basically comatose, not really speaking unless spoken to, and only reverting back to her charismatic and charming self for the media, to a certain extent. It wasn't until her mother pulled her aside near the end of August, and literally told her to suck it up and get on with her life because people needed her, and that she wasn't going to deal with seeing Ana like that anymore. Stasiya just stared and nodded, when before she would have agreed and said something about not really caring what her mother liked to see. She didn't really change when she got back to school. She was quieter than ever, and she was seeing her psychologist every week just after her dance classes. All she would tell him is that she's lost control, and that she's scared. Nothing else.
Near the middle of her fourth year at Vineheart, she was feeling the weight of the world on her shoulders, and was nearly afraid she'd have an anxiety attack and humiliate herself in the middle of school. She needed a break, and she knew it, but the only thing that really calmed her was something she did during school days. When the Imperial Russian Ballet offered her a position as a prima ballerina, she accepted to do one season with them, knowing that any longer would take her away from school too much. She was given the position of Cinderella in the production of the same name, and started touring with the ballet in March, only returning to school a few times, and then for exams, which the season ended only days before.
