- Shopping, Ai loves to shop. It's one of her absolute favorite pass times. It always helps her to think when she is upset or angry.
- People, even though she doesn't get along with certain people Ai loves being around people. She loves being surrounded by everyone and anyone.
- Parties, she doesn't drink yet but she does love to have fun at parties.
- Her family, though she has a funny way of showing it sometimes. Ai and her twin sister Julia haven't gotten along in years and Ai is too stubborn to budge on the fact and say sorry. She feels that Julia needs to say sorry first.
- Reading, Ai doesn't like to show it but she enjoys reading and learning just as much as she likes shopping and playing sports.
- Sports, the youngest chinese princess loves to play sports and be active. She enjoys feeling healthy and being healthy which comes from playing her sports and keeping in shape.
- Cooking, one of Ai's favorite past times would be to cook after her sports, shopping, and reading/learning.
- Dancing, Ever since she was little Ai has been in dance mainly to make her parents happy. She enjoys to dance but it's not on her top ten favorite things to do. She does enjoy all the attention she gets though.
- Flower Gardens, at her home in China Ai enjoys sitting in the gardens and smelling all the different scents. She even works in the gardens occasionally when she can. Though because there are many bees in the gardens she usually doesn't stay long unless she has the gardeners kill the bees and their nests.
- Attention, Ai likes having the attention on her as long as it's a good kind of attention. She hates having peole accuse her of things and that is the kind of attention she doesn't like.
- Drama, no not the catty girl drama, acting. Ai loves acting and putting on shows, it helps that she can be quite the drama queen when upset or pushed the right way.
- Romance, Ai is a hopeless romantic. She believes that there is someone out there for everyone and hopes to one day find her own true love. She would be devestated if her parents forced her into a loveless marriage.
Dislikes
- Singing, Ai can sing nice (not amazingly) but she hates to sing. She feels self-conscious when she sings but never with anything else.
- Losing to her sister, it doesn't usually happen but Ai hates losing to anyone especially her sister. She strives to be the best and hates to lose.
- Calligraphy, the one thing Julia is always better than Ai in. She has no interest in it, but still hates to lose to her sister.
- Fighting, Ai hates physical fighting. Throwing insults she can handle, in fact she finds it entertaining, but when someone starts throwing punches she immediately freaks out.
- Being alone, Ai enjoys being around people and hates being by herself. When she is by herself she seems kind of out of sorts and awkward. She does occasionally enjoy being alone, but most of the time she wants to be with people.
- Fighting with her sister, Ai does want to make up with Julia but she won't make the first move. She's too stubborn and it would take something big to make her give in.
- Burnt food, Ai hates when her food isn't cooked properly so most of the time when she is at hoom she will cook her own food unless her mother or father tells her she isn't allowed to cook.
- Mushrooms, she hates the taste and the only time she will eat it is when she can't taste it.
- Bees and Spiders, Ai freaks out when she catches sight of a bee or a spider. She isn't allergic to either but they scare the heck out of her.
- The Twilight Saga movies, Ai loved the books but thinks that the movies were completely horrid.
- Thunder, she isn't scared of it but she doesn't like the sound of it either. She tends to drown the sound out with her Ipod whenever it starts storming though she does like to watch the lightening and rain while she listens to her Ipod instead of the thunder.
- Wasting her time, if she feels she's wasted her time Ai becomes very irritated and will let it be known she isn't happy.
Strengths
- Learning, she doesn't always show it but Ai is a quick learner and can remember the teachers lesson without writing many notes.
- Cooking, Ai dreams of one day becoming a chef but many people don't know that. In fact, Ai hasn't told anyone her dreams in fear that they will tell her it's a foolish idea.
- Listening, when she was younger Ai wasn't always so sweet. Now she is trying to be a better person and is actually doing well on that and listening to a person and instead of telling it to everyone she keeps it to herself.
- Sports, Ai is a very talented athlete due to all of the hard work and heart she has put into being one of the best in her athletic activities.
Weaknesses
- Jealous, she was worse as a child but Ai still becomes jealous like everyone else every now and then. Mainly she gets jealous of her twin sister more than of anyone else.
- Her twin, she wants to make up with her but lets her pride get the better of her.
- Bees/Spiders, Ai is terrified of them and will drop whatever she's doing to scream and run away if she catches sight of a bee or spider.
- Her family, Ai feels/knows that she hasn't always been the best family member and is now trying to make up for it. Eventually she is going to try her hardest to make everything up to her sister for hurting her as a child.

- Losing her sister/family forever, she may not get along with her sister but she'd be devastated more than anyone if anything were to happen to her family.
- Spiders/Bees, she is simply terrified of them.
- Fighting, she freaks out very easily if someone throws a punch

Sensitive* Like Julia, Ai is very sensitive. She hears what people have to say about her and if she hears something bad she feels horrible and will cry her eyes out thinking that she'll never be good enough for anyone and will let her family and country down.
Chef* Ai's dream is to one day be a chef, she has a gift in the kitchen and enjoys cooking for anyone and everyone.
Gullible* Ai can be very gullible and is very trusting of basically everyone. The only way to lose Ai's trust is to tell her a lie and she finds out and becomes humiliated.
Stubborn* The youngest Chinese princess is known for being stubborn. She and Julia got in a fight when they were younger and Ai refuses to say sorry until Julia does. She hardly talks to her sister unless she has to though it hurts her to not talk to her.
Grudge holder* Ai can hold a grudge longer than anyone she knows. If she feels that she was wronged she wants an apology and even then she won't trust you for years later. If she doesn't get an aplogy she will let it be known she doesn't like you.
Manipulative* Manipulation is one of Ai's secret talents. She will put on a good girl act and make you think she is the sweetest thing on earth to get what she wants. Ai usually is a good girl, but if she wants something she can become a monster until she gets it.

History
Ai Li-Mei was born on May 21 five minutes after her older twin sister Julia Jia. The two twins started out as best friends, though they occasionally had fights like every sister. Eventually the two started having more sibling rivalries which would tear them apart within the years to come. In that time Ai became even closer to her oldest brother than she had been before. Her oldest brother had always been closer to her than Julia, but after her fight with Julia started Ai and the oldest chinese royal grew even closer.
Even as a child, Ai was always the more athletic twin. She enjoyed sports and exercising, along with dancing, acting, and she had been forced to sing for her parents though her two absolute favorite past times besides her sports and acting would be cooking. Ai had always been so interested in cooking. Her interest had first started when she was six years old and had been playing hide-and-seek with her three older siblings. Having run farther than the limits, Ai had stumbled into the kitchen where she became completely amazed by the chef who was preparing the royal family's dinner. Instead of returing to the game, Ai watched the chef cook and even got to help him out a bit. Of course, Ai had been reprimended by her mother for making everyone worry about where she had been, but after that one day of spending a few hours with the chef in the kitchen Ai was found in the kitchen more so than anywhere else in the castle.
As a young girl, Ai's parents had put her in dancing and singing lessons to go along with all of her sports. Ai enjoyed dancing, but didn't enjoy the singing as much. She had a pretty voice, but it wasn't anything overly fantastic. One thing Ai could not do no matter how hard she tried was calligrophy. It was the one thing that Julia could always do better than Ai in and it started to get on Ai's nerves that her parents would always show of Julia's calligraphy to all of their friends while Ai had to sit and listen. Eventually Ai became very jealous of the attention her sister got and that eventually became a factor in why Ai eventually started a rumor about Julia that resulted in the twins to hate each other. Years passed and Ai started to miss her sister. They hardly talked and when they did it held a forced civilty, other wise they would only say hurtful words or would ignore each other. Eventually Ai realized she should say sorry but her pride forbade her, she instead thought that Julia had to say sorry first because she had been the one to start it.
When Ai was ten years old, her mother had the servants take Ai shopping. Ai had such a wonderful time that eventually she went shopping every weekend, though she didn't always buy everything she saw like she had wanted too. She only bought what she liked the most and instead of using her parents money, Ai secretly would help out anyone in the castle and received a sort of allowence for staying out of trouble and helping out instead of causing the problem, though Ai and the staff never told anyone not even the Emperor or Emperess that Ai was doing chores around the castle with them so Ai became very careful not to let anyone see her out of fear of them telling everyone and anyone who would listen. Because she couldn't always wear her good clothes for cleaning, Ai would instead wear a maids outfit and clean in that. The gardens were Ai's favorite place to work in besides the kitchens. She always loved looking at the flowers and just sitting in the gardens and smelling all the different scents of all of the different flowers. One day when Ai was working in the gardens Julia came across Ai in her work clothes and cleaning the gardens, out of fear that Julia would tell everyone Ai spread around a rumor to the Chinese nobels that Julia was the one wearing servants' clothes and cleaning up around the castle for money. That was only one of the reasons why Ai told the rumor, she was sick of hearing all about Julia's amazing calligraphy that she not only said it out of fear but jealousy.
Coming to Vinheart, Ai met the royals she never had and instantly wanted to make friends with anyone she could get along with and could get along with her or at least deal with her.
Over the summer Ai got the chance to go to L.A. for a cooking class and happily took the chance, though everyone in her family besides her parents thought she was going to soccer camp. While in L.A. Ai met him, Astarpio Ytae. He saved her from a bee and carried her to her hotel room after she tripped and twisted her ankle. She had always had a crush on him while at school, but she had never really had the chance to talk to him until that one day in L.A. in the gardens. Of course, he was off limits seeing as he was already dating his princess, Alex of Greece. Later on in the summer she also got the chance to go to Australia to cook in a food fair and once again she met him, though he had been sad, she hadn't been able to notice because he acted happy when anyone was around. She started majorly crushing on him, though she never let anyone know because she knew that it would never happen.
