Personality
Musical* Alena has always been very musical. She started out playing piano when she was four, then moved to guitar when she was seven, and started the drums when she was fourteen. She has a beautiful soprano voice. When she's on stage it's the only time she isn't self-conscious.
Self-Conscious* Alena believes that every girl is prettier than her, but she doesn't do anything to fix it. She just acts as herself because she knows that she can't pretend to be anyone else.
People Person* Alena loves being around people, and enjoys helping people. She never lets her self-conscious ways get in her way when she's trying to help a friend.
Hopelessly Devoted* Alena is in love with Niki, and she wishes that he would love her too, but knows that he'd never go for her when he has royal girls to choose from who are much prettier than herself.

History
Alena was born on a warm summer day in Belarus in 1992, June first to be exact. Her parents were ecstatic to finally have a child. They had been trying for ten years to have a child, and even after the doctors told them they only had a .1% chance of having a child, they had a daughter and named her Alena Vasilisa Willow Belikov. Alena’s father was a successful business man who co-owned a company with his twin brother Viktor. Christian and Vasilisa noticed that Alena was always singing and dancing, and had seemed to have fallen in love with the piano. When she turned four, her parents signed her up for ballet and tap and also piano lessons. She loved dancing and playing the piano, it always made her happy when she was sad. When Alena turned seven, her parents bought her a guitar after she spent months begging for one. They signed her up for lessons, and she dropped her tap classes to take guitar lessons. Seven years later when Alena turned fourteen, she got a set of old drums from her friend from school and learned how to use them from her. One year later, Alena’s parents were killed in front of her by her Uncle Viktor who wanted the company for himself. Alena had called the cops and just as he was about to kill her the cops came in and took him away. Alena was sent away and her uncle was put in a high security prison so he couldn't hurt her or anyone else.
Alena was placed in foster care and sent from home to home, though the homes were surprisingly always in the same area and she never had to switch schools. When Alena turned sixteen she started working at the mall, where the Queen of Belarus always loved to shop. She bounced from store to store for two years before she met the Queen. Alena had always been a people person, and even after her parents murder, she continued to smile and show excellent people skills. She gave the Queen excellent customer service and the Queen had taken to her immediately. The Queen offered Alena a job and a home at the palace, to be Niki’s second servant for when he started his fifth year at Vineheart Academy. Alena had no real home, so she accepted the offer and moved into the palace, and when she met Niki, she had fallen for him. He was so sweet and caring, that she couldn’t help it. She never showed it as anything but a friendship and it broke her heart to just be friends, though she'd rather be friends with him rather than him not even be friends with her. Alena became very self-conscious, finding all of his girlfriends very beautiful, which in a way dashed her dreams of him ever falling in love with her. She was a nobody and he could have any girl in the world. Why would he want her?
Alena trained for a year to be his servant and then was sent with Niki to Vineheart Academy for their fifth year. Alena secretly loves Niki still, but is too chicken to tell him. She keeps it a deep secret from him and everyone around her, though every day she wishes that Niki would fall for her too. She had various flings with Bently Girard of France, and has had other relationships before, but she really only wants to be with Niki.
During the last few months of her final year of high school, Alena became best friends with Theo of the Netherlands. He helped her realize she can't hate herself so much and that she has to move on and accept that her parents around really around, but always will be with her. He also helped her see that Niki isn't so far from her reach as she thought. Over the summer Niki proposed to her and now she is happily engaged and has a best friend.
