Leena stood in the center of the club, one hand on hip and the other holding a margarita. She was observing the transformed Ice Box with a satisfied smile playing on her lips, her almond eyes glittering proudly as her gaze averted about the room. Damn, she’d done well. She should have been a professional party planner rather than a princess. Well, actually, she supposed it wasn’t just her that should take all the credit, considering it was the Kings and the Queens who had put together the party. But, Leena, as the Head Queen, always liked to give herself more credit than she deserved anyways. She’d earned it, had she not? She’d remained loyal to the original Queens; she’d done everything they’d asked of her, stuck her neck out for them, and they’d chosen her to lead this year’s batch, and so that was what she was going to do. With a small price, of course: Aubrey. Honestly, she had had no other choice but to promote Aubrey as Head Queen with her. They actually had to share the title, though if Leena was being honest, she pretended Aubrey was still her right-hand and not her equal. Truthfully, all of the fifth year Queens were equals, it was just Leena and Aubrey lead them and sorted out any disputes that were to happen in the future. Which, would most likely be between herself and Aubrey, she predicted. It wasn’t that Aubrey knew more than she should about Leena; the entire school now knew every one of Leena’s secrets, thanks to the Belgian princess. But it was more of the fact that Leena didn’t want to have constantly be at odds with Aubrey when she could easily watch her carefully from inside the pack. If Aubrey was apart of the Queens, Leena could keep tabs on her, and that’s exactly what she planned to do.
But tonight, Leena wasn’t going to watch her frenemy like a hawk. Tonight, she going to be at ease and let herself enjoy the amazing party they were throwing for the Vineheart students and alumni. At first, she’d been a bit iffy about letting the alumni come, but because a few had risen a stink about wanting their graduated friends to attend, she’d finally let go and agreed with everyone else. Besides, she supposed it would give her a chance to see the eldest Greenland princess again, right? She didn’t care as much about the others, but the princess of Greenland had been one of her closest friends and was one of the only ones to support her when everything had gone down the drain at the end of the year. She was glad she had her, and especially glad to have her best friend Ice with her as well; Johanna was the only one who never even thought bad things about her despite the fact that Leena was, essentially, the biggest bitch on the block.
Since the theme of this year’s Halloween was Hell on Earth, Leena decided that as one of the hosts, she would wear a costume that corresponded with the theme. So, she’d slipped into a stereotypical sexy devil costume that showed off her tall, slender body and extremely long legs. She knew many would probably make jokes on how the costume was pretty accurate, but Leena didn’t care; she was embracing her bitchiness now, after all. She’d left her dark hair down in long waves and applied golden makeup to highlight her almond eyes; for a finishing touch, she applied deep red lipstick to her full lips. She truly fit in with the surroundings of the club, and her grin grew knowing that everyone would soon be arriving. Since it was the weekend, the curfew was set to midnight, so the party was to start promptly at eight o’ clock in the evening to give the students enough time for a wild night. Since they’d rented out the Ice Box, they didn’t have to worry about the Vineheart staff finding out about it, especially since no one had known the location of the party until two hours earlier, when the Kings and Queens had sent out a mass text to the students. Leena took another sip of her drink, still admiring the décor and letting herself begin to relax and enjoy the beat of the music the expensive DJ was mixing.

Hell on Earth was, by far, one of the most anticipated parties for Bethany. Not only was it the first big, real party of fifth year, it was traditionally put on by the Kings and Queens; meaning, with Bethany finally being a reigning queen and not just a protege or guest, she actually got to help plan it. Leena's vision for club had really paid off, no one would even recognize the place they all spent so much time at. But Bethany had to pat herself on the back, since she'd suggested throwing it at IceBox, which would be a curveball to the whole student body. Of course, she wouldn't ever tell anyone about how she'd had trouble getting the contract and had had to make a deal with the devil himself, her exboyfriend, Dante. She'd always hated how much pull he had at IceBox, because it meant it was that much harder to avoid him, but when the manager had tried to tell her he didn't want an underage party in his establishment, she'd been glad for it. And she still scoffed at the idea that he didn't want an underaged party, considering a large chunk of his daily clientele were underage, at least in the United States.
Bethany had decided, however, to forego the theme and was dressed as a peacock. The costume had all started when Bethany had stumbled upon the perfect pair of Jimmy Choo's, purple suede with blue and black feathers, in the back of her closet. She couldn't even remember buying them. But soon, she had a clutch to match the purple of the shoes and it had hit her in the face when she'd been looking at costumes that the shoes were very avian. She'd left her hair down, letting it simply curl and fall down her back since she hadn't cut it since the previous semester; but her eye-make up had taken, literally, an hour as she tried to match her costume. Lined heavily in black, outlined in white and with plenty of glitter and feathers, it was almost as if she had a mask on, without the discomfort of actually wearing a mask. Her signature lipgloss and she'd been ready to go.
As she was getting a 151 punch from the bar, dyed blood red especially for the evening, Bethany saw Leena standing in the center of the club, surveying the results of all of their hard work. With a grin, she accepted her drink and walked up to the girl who, in all honesty, was a rather ambivalent person to Bethany. They didn't really like or dislike each other, they were just sort of there. "Amazing, huh?" she asked, grinning wider as she sipped her drink. "No one will even recognize this place. And I think it may even top the last Queens party," she said, laughing quietly. Bethany's main goal for her fifth and final year at Vineheart was to throw the best parties, and try to avoid the worst drama. She preferred to only be a bitch when absolutely neccessary.
this post stars the lovely leena + everyone else and contains five hundred and eleven words. bethy looks hot in this right here and you can thank ke$ha for the lyrics and me for the template.

[atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=style, width: 450px; background-color: transparent;true] for all we know we might not get tomorrow
The last few days had all been very odd to him, just due to the fact that he had not been around Rylie and he truly did find himself missing her consistently though he tried not to be too obnoxious with his texts to her. To him it had been a seemingly long weekend full of arguing and him trying to convince his parents. At this point it was impossible to tell quite exactly where everything was at seeing as he had been the last one to say a thing and left before they responded. He was finished with their attempts at proving him wrong, there was no reason for their atrocious prejudice. So for now all would be left was a silence until the time where they finally made the last move. An extremely scary thought, yes although he was trying to remain confident in all his responses to them along with the way in which he had managed to handle the situation despite the rash assumptions made by his mother who had been a complete joke to him through all of this. If they still were not going to side with him, there was nothing he could do really but at the same time he had informed them that it did not matter if he had their or the entire country of France's blessing, he was not going to leave Rylie. He might have dropped her first name once or twice but still they had not really taken note of this, still far to focused ignorantly on the idea that she was not the same class as Bentley was. Over and over he continued to argue the audacity of all of this, the nothingness that it was considered as to him. There was nothing they could do to change his mind and he adamantly admitted that he was not trying to rebel, that this was real. What had struck him more than anything was the accusation his mother had stated about her only manipulating and lying to him for money and publicity sake. This was what had gotten him off on the last of his tangents to snap harsh words in their direction that they were the ones who were delusional before he left to the airport. He was not about to allow them to even believe they could start labeling the girl without even knowing her. It was not until he was up in the air on the plane that day that he had been able to calm himself down to a reasonable state of mind to completely overlook all of what he had said. His points had been valid, not too biased either as he knew opinion would interfere with his parent's outlook on it so therefore he tried to be as professional about all of it as was possible for him. Either his parents would get over it or they wouldn't and by this point he really did not care, the way they put it made it sound no more logical than the fact that they were afraid to change traditions. This was a relationship, not really a sin by any standards seeing as he had done things far worse with servants a few years ago but these his parents did not exactly find out about otherwise he probably would have been hung. Sitting on his flight, he mulled over it all only to recall what his last words had been stated to the King and Queen of France had been. Regardless if the two of you find it to be 'acceptable' or not, I'm going to continue on seeing Rylie. Nothing you do or say will change that. Well it had been something similar to that and thinking about it now he wondered if that sounded childish more than anything but really this was how he felt on the subject. There was no doubt in his mind that he wanted things to continue with Rylie, the feelings that he had for the girl were overpowering at times and nothing appeared to be fading but only continuing to grow. Small sigh passed through lips as he grabbed his luggage to meet the cab that was to take him back to Vineheart. It would be maybe an hour until he would see her again and the anticipation was building rapidly as he strode back to his dorm to get ready for the Halloween party. At least now she did not even seem hesitant to be found in public any more, the people who they were worried about really already knew so honestly there was no reason to stay hidden now. He was beyond the point of caring. Chuckling to himself after taking a shower and then changing into the button up shirt and tie along with slacks, he slipped into the large cloak like costume he had ordered beforehand and looked at his reflection to deem himself rather nerdy. Oh well, it was Halloween, perfect excuse plus he was sure that Rylie would enjoy his take on the costume as well. Once more he headed outside the dorm to hail a cab to take him to Ice Box to attend the party. Gaze flickered across the room to try and locate the girl among the gathering crowd as people were dancing throughout the bar. This used to be something that was a common thing for him yet he had not been to Ice Box for some time, the last being when he had gotten belligerently drunk and had been punched by Pirzi, the thought might cause a chuckle now but then it definitely had not been. Tonight however, he vowed to himself that he was going to stay sober to enjoy his time with Rylie so she would not have to bother with baby sitting him. Tonight, he just wanted them to be able to act like a normal couple. Again he looked through the masses of different people from Vineheart that he recognized to find her. He probably should have asked just which costume she was going to wear although he could quickly narrow it down since most of the girls were no where as modest as he knew her to be. Seeing the short outfits, he was almost positive that she would never result to wearing half the things that the other girls were.

[/IMG] You and I, making the ground shake, baby; word.count. 990 - tags – everyone at the party! outfit ------------------------------------------------------------------ Halloween was always the perfect excuse to drink too much, pretend as though you were someone else and get away with all the things that on a normal night tended to get him in trouble. The girls would dress up in skimpy costumes where they left very little to be desired but really that did not seem to spark his interest, well there was one girl that he would not mind seeing in a costume like that but he was certainly not going to admit it. Mira would string him up and he did not doubt that. He did wonder what she was going to be dressed as though since she was never the type to not impress pushing those thoughts from his mind he continued the trek back to his dorm room in order to get ready for the night, he was glad that he had decided against the Fred Flintstone costume because even though he was sure that it would be comical it would also reveal the scar on his knee and therefore would not be a good choice considering it was bad enough now that there were times where he was not able to contain the limp, he had not even started to think ahead at what he was going to do by the end of the season where at this rate he would not be walking one step at a time and he would deal with that when the time came, surely they had pain pills for that.
Pushing the issues out of his mind he forced himself to just think of tonight as he noticed that Dante was already gone from their room meaning that he would have to find his own ride there which was not a problem since he had been avoiding the other prince for a little while since he was sure that Dante could see through the lies that he had been feeding him about where he was a lot of the times that he was meeting Mira as well as the large lie about the night of the Riverbed party where he had locked Dante out of the room, not meaning to of course but he had not been thinking clearly that night he was still so shocked at the way that the Bulgarian princess had literally dragged from the party. After a shower he then pulled on the navy pair of pants that went with his costume securing them with the thick belt that police officers wore to carry all their weapons and the handcuffs. Complete with a loaded water gun that he was sure was going to piss people off he then settled the dark navy dress shirt over his shoulders and did it up pinning the badge to the pocket and spraying cologne on the collar of his shirt before carrying his hat with him knowing it would be less suspicious if he exited Vineheart with fewer components of his costume. After locking the door behind him and making sure that he had his keys and cell phone as well as his wallet in his back pocket he snuck to the one door that he had made a habit of sneaking out of knowing that it was never locked and the one that all the other student seemed to use as well and he was able to duck behind the wall just in time to hear a teachers voice at the end of the hallway but by the time that they would come to the edge of the corner he was sure that he would be well out of their line of vision. The night was brisk and he was sure that it would not be long before it snowed and then his mood would surely improve slightly even if that was going to mean the end of the football season for the time being, he was finding that he was actually looking forward to that he needed the time to recover.
He noticed that there were already a bunch of cars waiting just out of sight of the lobby as there always seemed to be on the night of the parties and he chose to take one of the taxis, that way he would at least not get himself into trouble and then end up trying to drive his car home, he drew the line at that knowing that he could get himself or someone else killed. Sliding into the backseat he sat there for the duration of the short ride to a place that he knew well, except tonight it was looking a lot different than he had ever seen it everything was red and it really did look appropriate for the theme sure he had taken part in very minimal amounts of planning since he was part of the Kings but he never expected to be able to visualize what it would be like when it was all finished, the red chandeliers that hung from the ceiling were a nice touch as they seemed to give off enough light to be able to see what was going on with enough shadows that the rest of the party looked rather eerie and it would be rather private since between costumes and not enough lighting you were really not going to be able to see well enough to know who was who unless you knew what they were dressed as. After picking up his first drink at the counter he made a beeline for the table at the back that was known to house the Kings of Vineheart and no one seemed to have spotted him as of yet.

one look puts the rhythm in my hand [style=height:5px; width:5px;] Halloween. One of Mira's favorite holidays, ranked third; her birthday came first, of course, and then came New Years Eve. The great thing about Halloween, Mira thought, was that dressing like a total slut wasn't just preferred, it was expected. Bulgarians certainly celebrated Halloween, despite the fact that it wasn't a public holiday, but Mira certainly liked celebrating the holiday in America better. The costumes were skankier, the nightlife was wilder, and there just wasn't anything like getting drunk with all of your friends. This year, Mira was pleased to hear that the Halloween Bash would be thrown at the Ice Box, given that the club was her favorite place in town. She wouldn't have any worries about teachers and staff catching them, though even if the party was on school grounds, she wouldn't worry about it anyways. Nothing stopped Mira when she wanted to party, after all. She was glad, though, that the Ice Box had been chosen and for once she commended the Kings and Queens on party planning, which she normally didn't do. Normally, she didn't give a rats ass about the two popular groups; she didn't hate them, she just didn't have any true need for them either. She was friends or acquaintances with them all -- and obviously she was in a complicated "thing" with Fred, but she preferred walking the beat of her own drum rather than following theirs.
In all honesty, when she'd been picking out her outfit, Fred had strangely been on her mind the entire time. What would he find funny, what would make him go crazy? Well, anything she wore as long as it showed large amounts of skin, would make him insane -- but she still wanted to pick the right outfit. It was weird, these thoughts having crossed her mind, but she played it off as just her drive to tease the boy she was sleeping with. Did his opinion really matter? In the end, she'd decided on a cliche pirate costume, super-short skirt and cut-off top and all. There really wasn't anything modest about the outfit at all, and Mira found she enjoyed the way the leather and fabric clung to her skin, the way her the neckline and skirt barely covered the most important assets. As far as the rest of her outfit when, leaving her hair in loose curls covered by her pirate hat seemed to be the best choice, and she went a little daring with her makeup by applying dark smoky eyeshadow and deep red lipstick. She looked pretty damn sexy if she had to say so herself.
Getting to the Ice Box was easy, but Mira wondered why none of the staff expected a thing when half of the royals were hurrying through the dimly lit halls in costumes. It always amazed her, the obliviousness of the staff, though she suspected if Principal Norris was about and about, things would get caught real fast. Once she'd made it over to the Ice Box in a taxi, she flashed her school I.D. to the bodyguards out front and was let inside, where her eyes were met with a vision of red. Literally. Apparently, Fred hadn't been lying when he said the theme would be Hell on Earth. She rather liked it though, as it made the club look very entrancing. As she made her way through the throngs of people, she grabbed a glass of vodka from one of the workers who were carrying trays, and as she passed people dancing and talking, her eyes caught sight of a familiar face, and a smirk twisted onto her ruby lips. Fred was coming her way, but obviously hadn't noticed her yet, so as she passed him by, she slowed her pace. "Nice costume," she said, loud enough for him to hear but low enough to where no one else around them noticed that they were talking to each other at all. Leena's attention was diverted with the approach of another, and she turned to see Bethany in quite possible the most colorful costume she'd ever laid eyes on. It was apparent that Bethany had meant to dress as a peacock, and she grinned despite herself. "Congratulations, I think you win the award for most elaborate costume," she said with a laugh, surveying the outfit on the girl. It was actually a pretty cool costume, Leena had to admit, and she didn't think anyone else would look like anything similar to Bethany, especially since most had showed up in cliché outfits, Leena included. At last year's Halloween party, Leena had been dressed as an angel, ironically, and this year she was the opposite. The meaning behind it amused her, since she'd had such a change in social life the past year. No longer did she have to hide, and while that had been quite advantageous, she found being out in the open about her bitchy and sly personality was a lot less tiring than trying to hide behind a mask every second of the day. So what if she no longer had a throng of admirers? She was still manipulative, still running the school, and others were afraid of her now, so she still got what she wanted. It certainly paid off to have been inducted into the Queens early, even though Clara had told her the only reason that had happened was because one of the original Queens, the Swedish princess, had been kicked out. She didn't really know the story behind all of that drama, but from what she'd heard from others, it had been because of a rift between the girl and Clara. Well, whatever the reason, Leena was glad, because now she had all the authority. Mostly anyways.
She nodded her head, taking another sip of her drink as she watched the other royals converse and dance. "The end of the year party was a bit of an embarrassment, despite the flawless decorations," Leena noted with a slight scowl. It definitely had been quite a fuckup. With Aubrey ruining Leena's time to shine, half of the royals running about in tears, makeups and breakups all over the place; there hadn't been one second of normalcy in that entire party. Leena was used to the fact that drama seemed to be attached to each and every single one of the students, but she didn't appreciate the embarrassment of having her personal diary spread about the floor of the Riverbed. In a matter of seconds the entire school had found out about her eating disorder that she'd been battling for a year or two, and no longer was she looked at so highly. Thankfully, over the summer she had plenty of therapy sessions and was now five months free from self-induced vomiting, but she knew many still judged her as she passed by, wondering whether her thin frame was natural or not. Leena was naturally thin anyways, being nearly six feet tall, and it had even shocked her how skinny she'd let her body become before she'd undergone therapy.
"I have to say, even though you don't like Dante, he's a great asset to have," Leena admitted. "I don't like saying it, but the fact of the matter is, we wouldn't have been able to get the Ice Box without him. So thank you for going to the trouble to talk to him." Leena wasn't very courteous very often nowadays and she certainly didn't hand out compliments, but she figured Bethany deserved this at least. As much as she wanted to, she couldn't take all the credit.
