that up there is the lovely francisco lachowski who has played dante's brother for almost a year. the playby is not required but is strongly recommended; if you can find another playby who favors ed westwick and appears that he could pass for spanish, feel free to mention him and i'll google him! so far, the only definite playbys in the spanish family are ed westwick (dante) and penelope cruz (queen hermosa, aka, mama).
also, dante's brother has been called "cris"(cristian) in posts for quite a long time, so it would be super awesome if you could make one of his names cris. for confusions sake, i'm just going to continue calling him cris throughout the want ad.
his personality is pretty open, however, one of the big plot points with cris is that he is majorly naive, to the point of being painfully childish. as of the end of his third year, he had never had a girlfriend and was completely clueless when it came to the opposite sex; in short, he was the polar opposite of his big brother, dante. he's also very close to his younger sisters as dante wasn't particularly close to anyone. and he is fiercly loyal to his family.
the biggest part of this want ad, is cris and dante's history.
due to dante being groomed for the throne from an early age, he and cris weren't around each other all that much. plus, dante had bella, who is like a sister to him, and was around way more often, so what did he need his real siblings for anyway? plus, dante has always been politically minded, even from an early age, and has always had a fear of someone trying to shoot him, as he is the heir apparant to the throne. that fear only got stronger after dante went to vineheart and his parents started talking about him taking the throne in his 20s and when, at sixteen, his parents told him he would take the throne by nineteen, it was compounded and cemented. it's not that dante is afraid to die, that part he's oddly at peace with; what he's afraid of is the shooter missing and hitting his siblings. so he purposely keeps his distance.
this was all made easier when cris followed dante to vineheart after one year. cris was very excited to come to school because he would finally be able to interact with his big brother, without their father interfering and whisking dante away for one lesson or another. but dante, who had already gained his reputation as a partying womanizer, couldn't stand to be around the naive kid he was, unfortunately, related to. so he continued to avoid him. by the time cris was in third year, the two had enough mutual friends that dante would spend a fair amount of time with cris but only became frustrated by cris' naivety and by the fact that their mother continued to tell dante to "give cris a chance" and pushed for dante to include cris in political discussions.
the summer of 2011, dante's parents threw a masquerade ball with the purpose of dante choosing his allies. and cris blew him out of the water. suddenly the naive annoyance dante couldn't stand was coming to dante and informing him about how he'd overheard clara of austria talking about how she would blackmail dante. sure enough, about ten minutes after the announcement, clara came looking for dante and an emotional and political blow up ensued. that night really changed how dante viewed his brother and he was proud of the maturity and loyalty cris had shown in that moment and he immediately asked if cris would stand at his side as his second-in-command when the time came for dante to ascend to the throne.
now, back at school for his fifth and final year (and cris' fourth year) dante is trying very hard to let cris into his world. he is even going so far, as the head of the kings, to talk one of his fellow kings into taking cris under his wing- mostly so that dante can keep an eye on him, but also so that he shape cris into the political powerhouse he needs him to be.
they are currently in a rough patch as dante's best friend was just the victim of an assassination attempt and dante is currently in freak out mode, trying to decide whether to seek help from his family or hide them away from danger.

this is the lovely naomi scott. as in cris' ad, the playby is strongly recommended, but not required. this particular character has also been played by allison iraheta. not too much has been done with her, so i'm only calling her izzy because the longest incarnation of "spain3" was izabella. please feel free to name her whatever you want.
izzy is bubbly, outgoing, loud and a major gossip. she is the most like her brother of all three younger children. she is a co-protege in the queens of vineheart and loves to stay out late, party, and sleep until noon.
dante probably gets along with her the best, because they both love to party, but at the same time, he worries about her. he didn't notice her much until may of 2011 when, at the end of the year party the Kings and Queens threw, he saw her for the first time at a party he attended. the night was big for the both of them- he was announced as the head king while she was announced as having been officialy chosen to be a co-protege. and somehow, seeing his sister with a drink in her hand at the tender age of fourteen/fifteen (depending on her birthdate) was enough to shock him. was she going to turn out like him, addicted and alone? or was she just having fun?
so dante decided the best thing to do was to attempt to get to know her and that way he could try and steer her down a different path than himself; one where she wouldn't self-destruct before her twenty-first birthday. dante was grounded for most of the summer, so he saw izzy at least once a week, where they took turns choosing their activity, but they are still a little weary around each other. in late october of 2011, dante is deep into a drug addiction and depressed about his friend xavier (who was victim of an assassination attempt) and during one of their visits, he does a bunch of coke in front of her. he asks her to promise not to tell and a few days later on the night of the halloween party, something happens to dante that causes him to enter an outpatient rehab program and get his life back together.
as with his brother, the whole shooting thing with xavier has made dante want to distance himself from his siblings again (especially as xavier's twin sister was rightthere when xavier was shot) but izzy is the most persistant in keeping in contact with dante. so they still meet at least once every two weeks.

this character has never been played, lucky you! playby is completely open, as long as she looks like ed westwick and/or penelope cruz, has brown eyes and appears to be/is spanish. however, as above, the prefered playby is ariana grande.
personality is also wide open, with the exception that baby (a nickname because she is the baby of the family) is extremely girly and also very spoiled.
she is the one he keeps the eye out for the most. baby is also the closest (out of cris, izzy and herself) to their father, raul. while she isn't as close to raul as dante is, dante often envies her relationship with their father because his relationship is 'tainted' with politics and expectations, while hers is simply the love and joy of being the youngest. unlike any of the other siblings, she was able to spend a full year alone with hermosa and raul while the other siblings were all away at vineheart.
now that all four spanish siblings are away at vineheart, dante sees it as his job to look out for them and, along with his new desire to know his siblings, because of this he tries to keep in semi-regular contact with baby, even if it is just through texts. in fact, after xaviers accident, he prefers texting baby rather than seeing her because he couldn't live with himself if something were to happen to her.

hermosa is a very caring and loving woman and treats all of her children's friends as if they too are her own children. she has no qualms about stepping in if a visiting friend seems to be ill or down in the dumps. she is quick to laugh and even quicker to console. she loves to cook and when she isn't busy running the royal household or partaking in her many charities, she can be found in the kitchen, elbows deep in something that's probably rather messy. she believes in the idea that good food comes from a good soul and would be in her kitchen day in and day out if the head cook didn't encourage her to spend her time attending her other duties.
but that doesn't mean that she can't discipline with the best of them- and that extends to her children's friends. she is not a woman you want to cross or be in trouble with. she has a fiery temper and no qualms about using it when appropriate. she can be quite overbearing at times, especially if there is something she is excited or anxious about and when she is under great stress. she is deeply religious and takes her roman catholic faith very seriously and tries to instill that into her children.
while she is certainly closer to some of her children than others, after all that is only natural, she tries to be fair and spend equal time with all of her children. she has a knack for keeping track of important events and assignments and is sure to call to inquire about the results. when the siblings are at home, she devotes a different day of the week to each one to spend doing whatever they want and she encourages family dinners when everyone's schedules allow. while the children are at vineheart, she calls them each individually at least once a week, but most often more.
she was in an arranged marriage to raul, but they fell in love almost instantly, so she doesn't understand why the next generation seems to be so against them.

raul is a king above all and will never let his children, or his country, forget it. he is rather distant from his children, except for dante who was around him nearly 24/7 for nine years, and is very diplomatic. he is quick to discipline and prefers not to be bothered with petty things like his children's worries or their grades- as long as they are good grades. it's not that he doesn't love his children, it's just that he has a country to rule and the welfare of the public to consider.
he takes his job as king very seriously. that's not to say he isn't affectionate, and even loving, he just feels there is a time and place for it and the middle of his meeting with england or germany isn't it.
raul has softened considerably over the last year and a half since he was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia. he was given a very good prognosis- a minimum of ten good years with a 50% chance of full remission. he and hermosa told dante the news almost immediatly as they needed him to move up the date of his wedding and coronation (instead of waiting until his mid-twenties, he'll be married just after graduation and will take the throne just after his nineteenth birthday). however, they waited until august of 2011 to tell the rest of the children. they have yet to tell the spanish public and raul does his best to hide his pain from the citizens of spain; they are planning to make a public announcement after dante is ruling as king. whatever the outcome of his sickness, raul wants to spend his remaining time catching up with his family as he sees the error in his ways of putting his country first.
