Clever* Though she might not know much about the world, Sophie is quite a clever and resourceful girl. She was educated by the finest scholars Estonia had to offer, and one would be surprised on how smart they might be. She was raised to think logically, though her over active imagination often gets in the way of that.
Superficial* Sofie has always absolutely adored fashion and all it has to offer, not to mention makeup and accessories. Dressing up for events are the highlight of the season, and Sofie tends to judge others rather seriously on their appearance, since hers just so happens to be rather important to her.
Innocent* Since she grew up extraordinarily isolated from the rest of the globe, Sofie is very naive. She tends to always assume the best in people, which can work very much to her disadvantage.
Good-natured* Sofie’s naiveté leads her to be a sweet and kind creature, wanting only the best for everyone, unless you’ve done her wrong of course. She’s quite the little optimist, which attracts quite the good feeling while you’re around Sofie, which immediately draws people in.
Bubbly* Her natural optimism causes a fun bubblyness in Sofie that may drive some insane, but also leads her to be an immediately likable, sweet person. History As the only daughter to the King and Queen of the small country of Estonia, Sofia had been doted upon by her parents and subjects since the second of her birth. Lavished with all that money could buy, Sofie grew up to be a rather spoiled young princess, who’s brothers adored her almost as much as her country. As the young princess grew older, she began to crave the attention that was so eagerly given to her, and there was not a young lady better suited to the idea of becoming a princess than young Sofie. She spent hours upon hours watching films of her favorite princesses, endlessly dressing up in costumes, running around the palace pretending to fight off dragons and be saved by her prince charming. As a young teen, she lived for the Estonian balls of the season, taking it upon herself to lead the way in Estonian fashion. Yes, she was living a fairy tale, but there was one small problem.
Much like many of the princesses from her youth, Sofie was trapped inside her castle in Estonia. Well, more figuratively than literally. Her parents, overprotective and proud as they were, did not believe much in traveling or seeing the world, and the famous royal Vineheart Academy was completely out of the question for their young princess. After all, she was not to inherit the throne, what could they teach her there that the fine scholars and tutors of Estonia could not?
So, it was a rare occasion Sofie left the Estonian castle grounds. Though it was the largest estate in the country, with hundreds, if not thousands, of people employed, it still got to be rather dull and monotonous for the young princess who wanted more than anything to have an adventure like those in her storybooks. She was a princess after all, right? And though she loved her country dearly, she dreamed of nothing more than to see and experience the world she had only dreamed about. Yes, she lead a full life in her country, but it was lacking something essential.
On her fifteenth birthday, her oldest brother announced to the household he was going to University the following year in Stockholm to get away from Estonia for a while, much to the shock and horror of their parents. Though, after much consultation and discussion with one another, they agreed it was best for their family, and the royal line, to have their eldest explore a new life and get a good grip on the world before he ruled their small country. After much more arguing, Sofie took courage in her brother’s actions and forced her parents to let her enroll in the prestigious Vineheart Academy she had heard so much about, and dreamed to attend. Now, she’s here in boarding school, living in a new country for the first time, and more than ready to start her adventure and become the princess she’d always imagined herself to be.
