The annual Halloween bash was tonight. She had been waiting on this day all semester. The school year had started off quicker than she had anticipated, but it had been a welcome transition. After the summer spent more in shock and mourning than tanning and shopping, she was more than ready to settle back into a steady routine and get back to who she used to be. The pregnancy had come to a shock to everyone that knew Julianna, even to herself. Of course, she had known it was a possibility after the weekend her and the Grecian prince had shared, but you never think that kind of thing will happen to you, until it does.
Her first mentor in the Queens had been Alex, the Grecian princess, who also happened to be her ex boyfriend’s sister. They had actually gotten pregnant at the same time, although Alex’s was causing more of a scandal seeing as how she had gotten pregnant by her old servant. Julianna had since miscarried her baby, much to her dismay, and she was still coping with that loss in her own way, but she also realized it was for the best. She was only sixteen, what did she know about being a mother? Going shopping for her Halloween costume for the upcoming party being held at the Icebox had helped her regain some semblance of her former self. She was a co-protégé for the Queens of Vineheart; she couldn’t be changing her personality halfway through her high school career.
Ursula from The Little Mermaid was the inspiration for the costume Julianna had decided upon. It looked a lot like the version from the movie, but it was more modern and sexier in her opinion. Kata had gone with her a few days before to see to any finishing touches before she made the final purchase – of course, nothing less than perfection for royalty. Her servant and best friend had helped her get ready before seeing her off to the trendy hot spot on the strip from the school. As she arrived and walked in, she looked around. Yes, they had outdone themselves once again – she was proud to be a part of such a wonderful clique at school. Looking around, she didn’t see Ari yet – they hadn’t been in the room at the same getting ready; she had assumed she would be arriving with Dragan. Neither did she see the Grecian prince, which was fine by her – rumor had it that he had taken off after leaving Hungary and her miscarriage and just disappeared. He had yet to show up for the term. At that moment, she looked up and saw Alex making her way in.

The Vineheart annual Halloween bash was tonight and Alex couldn't wait. Last year, she had come with the other Queens and had an amazing time. This year she was alone and pregnant. It's amazing what can happen in a matter of months. She smiled as she carefully put on he costume with some adjustments to look good on her baby bump. She smiled as she looked in the mirror at her completed costume. She was aiming for a fire fairy and hoped that she could pull it off. With a long red dress and matching wings and mask she thought it worked out pretty well considering things.

She took one last look in the mirror and then grabbed her keys and walked downstairs to meet her driver. When she arrived she thanked her driver and entered the Icebox where the bash was being held at. She smiled as she looked around hoping to find her brother. Her brother had disappeared over the summer and she hadn't seen him in months. She was worried about him but figured if something had happened she would know. Anyways, she looked around the room again and grinned when she saw her "sister" Julianna. The young Hungarian princess and Alex had been friends since Julianna first started dating Lex's brother. She smirked as she walked on over to her friend and wrapped her in a hug. "Julianna! I have missed you!" She smiled as she stepped back to look at the young princess. The two had been through a lot together over the past few months but together they had gotten through it all.

Back in her dorm room, Kata had helped the princess get ready for the party. Julianna was viewing it as kind of another coming out thing for her, reintroducing herself into society since her rather scandalous summer. Unlike Alex, she no longer had her baby to cling to. She knew she’d make a great mother when the time came, but she was nowhere near ready – that much information she had gathered while trying to deal with the pregnancy as well as her baby’s daddy. The stress had just proven to be too much and the Grecian prince had taken off, doing a major disappearing act to the point where he had not even shown up to begin the school year yet. Rumors were circulating the school, as well as the royal world about where he was, why he disappeared, and all of that. The Hungarian princess just turned her head and answered truthfully when anyone asked. No, I don’t know where Aetos is. No, I haven’t heard from him. We’re no longer dating. On and on it went, it didn’t seem like the questions would ever stop.
Feeling Alex’s arms around her, she relaxed and laughed as she kissed the older girl’s cheek. ”Alex! I cannot tell you how much I have missed you as well!” She said excitedly. Seeing her long lost friend made her happier than she had been in weeks. Other than Aetos, Alex had been one of the first people to discover the younger girl’s pregnancy. They had revealed them to each other the second Julianna had arrived in Greece to spend a couple of weeks with the Grecian royal family. Julia had reached out to Aetos then, she had needed him, and just like before, he had deserted her again. The princesses had been through a lot together, but the point was that they had gotten through it together. Julianna honestly didn’t think she’d have been able to make it without someone knowing exactly what she was going through and how it felt. Stepping back from the hug, and looking to her ‘sister’, she immediately placed a hand on her growing belly. ”I can’t believe how big you’re getting! This baby is going to so spoiled by Aunt Julianna it’ll be ridiculous!” She said eagerly. She was very happy for Alex and couldn’t wait to be ‘Aunt Julia’ to the baby. ”How have you been? Any strange cravings since the last time we talked?”
