Don't get all stressed, it's still fixable, they probably just did it to follow the trend that all the other Royal families seem to set with arranged marriages.
I don't think you want to be more like me in any aspects but maybe more assertive, yes.
See this is where you are wrong. Girls are not toys, but I do my best to stay away from the drama of being involved with them for a prolonged period, every girl involved with me knows what they are getting themself into so don't make my look like the bad guy.
As for the whole girlfriend thing, perhaps it was time for a change, I got curious.
I didn't say it because it was a total given.
Then show them how unhappy you are with it, it will change their mind.
