Tying countries by marriage is just asking for disaster.
Yes you should be more assertive because they are just going to keep pushing even more if you don't fight back.
I like to think that not a whole lot of people know me at all. I appreciate your luck though I do not think I will need it.
My only input it to talk to them before it gets too complicated, and bring me along in case you fail, consider me a back up plan.

The arranged marriage sucks for sure! I don’t know what they were thinking either. It is the Twenty First century and they still arrange their children’s marriages. I did try to talk to them about that and dad was mad at me! Can’t believe it! So what does Ari say about it?

Haha, no worries! As we all know, they in general, and king Anselm in particular, have/has never liked me enough to not hate me. Driving Daddy mad is enjoyable. I had already known that my words were worth no coin to them (adults’ issue), but there should be someone to tell them how terrible their decision is. Anyhow, I guess I have failed then.
I really cannot imagine Ari becoming my sister-in-law and you wearing a fine tux standing in the church… >_<
I’m always here when you need me (though I’m sure I’m not that helpful). She’ll be shocked, that’s pretty obvious. But good people deserve happy endings, so things will be alright.
Don’t be mad at me because I’m still joking while things are so tense like now. But have you ever thought of running away with Ais? South Pole and Sahara desert seem good enough to hide from Daddy and his army. ^^

I promise you when I am crowned that it will be quite different. After all the way they were talking to me over Christmas I think its going to be a little sooner than I expected.. not sure why.
It won't happen so you don't need to worry about it, we will think of some loophole. Switzerland is strong enough without an alliance made by a marriage.
That's questionable since we are quite different people, and I tend to leave out things I tell you but I suppose in comparison to what other people know about me that it would be true.
Of course I will be home for Easter Holiday, I believe there is a conference I need to attend but perhaps we could have some brother time after that? As cheesy as it sounds.
