- Reading- being able to find a peaceful place where he can be alone and enjoy the comfort of a good book is always a must
- Sports- Kai may not look like the most masculine person but do not let that fool you. He is well capable to hold his own in any sport he plays.
- Girls- He is a guy after all and will not falter when it comes to appreciated beauty.
- Chocolate-Kai is a sucker for chocolate
- Martial Arts- not that he likes fighting but he enjoys the feelings of inner strength and peace with one self .

- Spending time with his family- Even though his siblings can drive him insane and his family is chaotic that doesn't take away the fact that he does enjoy spending time with them. If it be just to hang out or to give some needed advice, he will always be there for his siblings.

- Arrogance- This is one of the things he dislikes about nobility. He dislikes those that think they are far superior than others simply because of their class. He believes this is not the way to rule your people and for them to be able to respect you you must also respect them.

Personality
Protective* He may not be the oldest but that doesn't mean he isn't protective of his siblings. Since his oldest sister is in the States he can't do much for her except worry about her every now and then. With his two youngest siblings in school with him he makes sure to keep a watchful eye over them. It may seem like he's the annoying older brother that worries to much but he doesn't mind it. He trusts his siblings and gives them their space but you can't count on him to jump in at a moments notice if he is needed.
Responsible* You can always count on Kai to be one of the most responsible. He does this that way the majority of responsibilities that come from his parents fall onto him and not his younger siblings. The less responsibilities that they have the more they can enjoy their lives. Kai is well aware of the hardships that come with being of noble blood and that in some cases some people never get the chance to "live". He does not want that for his siblings and thus would gladly take on any burden of royal duties upon his self to spare his siblings.
Honorable* One of the most important traits from people that was instilled into him since birth. Honor has been one of the most important rules Kai has lived by. Fairness, honesty, and integrity are a few of the traits that he sees are the traits needed to be able to rule your people and thus he lives by these beliefs in every day life. Kai is polite to everyone and only judges a person after he gets to know them. Even if Kai is never to be king he will gladly continue to exert these traits under his sister's rule.

History
Benjirou was only 18 when he took the throne as emperor of Japan. He had promised to rule his people with as much honor as his father had done before him. Not to long after his coronation Benjirou took the beautiful Momoko, his childhood friend, as his empresses. It would not be long afterwards that they would welcome their first child, a daughter. Both parents couldn't be happier but their happiness would not end their for they would then welcome three more children. The second eldest would be a son named Kai.
Now the birth of Kai had not been an easy one. There was fear at the time that Kai would not make it. After much praying to the gods Kai was deemed healthy and welcomed into a very loving family. As the eldest son there was more responsibilities that were placed upon him than his younger siblings but he did not mind that. He welcomed it especially if it meant to lessen the burden of his younger siblings. Besides, it would be nothing compared to that of his eldest sister considering she was first in line for the throne.
Kai has never been jealous of his sister. Kai has seen himself as a servant of the people. Kai is well prepared to serve his people if be as emperor or under the rule of his sister. Until that time comes though Kai intends to enjoy his life as much as he can. Kai lives responsibly but he does like to find times when he can just find peace. He does that best when he's reading a book and playing the piano. Every now and then Kai loves to go out for a swim to just relieve himself of any stress.
Now that Kai is attending Vineheart Academy he is a very diligent student. He takes every task that is given to him seriously and never fails to come through but Kai is not all work and no play. When he has his chances he is quite sociable and friendly, always eager to learn about the world. Kai tends to keep to himself most of the time but that doesn't mean he is cold or anything he just enjoys his peace. If he is approached by anyone he is more than willing to strike up a conversation and is very respectful.
