Personality
Eccentric* Dritan has a very eccentric look on life and everything that is a part of that. He laughs at the weirdest jokes and makes them as well. He finds the weirdest things to amuse himself with and says odd things in conversation. People often refer to him as an odd ball and don’t understand him but they still hang out with him since he can be a nice guy once you get past the weird things he says. His outlook on life is just different but that doesn’t stop him from telling people about it. His true friends just sort of wave him off and enjoy his company since it is never dull.
Partier* A good party is something he could never turn down especially when there is loud music and the fun is flowing. He loves to be out and about with people that he doesn’t have to listen to speak because there is music. Often he comes home in secret and has learned how to party and keep it secret from his parents. But while at Vineheart he has thrown some amazing parties and loves having people showing up and really enjoying their time with him. At these parties he makes sure that no one out does him in any aspect of the party. Whether it be making out with people, drinking, or dancing, Dritan can outdo them all. His motto in life is that if it is worth doing it is worth over doing. Now will this skill make him a good king, probably not but Dritan isn’t thinking about that.
Secretive* Most people do not know much about Dritan other than he can party and he is a little weird because he keeps a lot of stuff to himself. He enjoys having a private life and won’t let anyone into it unless they are important. Now that doesn’t stop him from talking to people but he doesn’t talk about things like his feelings and he day since he is a little insecure about life. It’s just how he functions.

HistoryDritan Sokal was born as the first child and first son to King Benik and Queen Edina. It was a special day and from what he knows all of Albania celebrated their new king’s birth like it was a holiday. Of course Dritan doesn’t remember this since he was only a few hours old but there might have been a parade in honor of the future king. The memories of his childhood are few and far between. Mostly they center around his mother taking care of him and his sister until Dritan was old enough to go with his father and learn how to properly rule a country. It was not fun for a five year old sitting and watching his father basically read and sign documents all day or greet people that were considered important. Of course there were the private tutors that had to teach Dritan how to speak many different languages and how to follow politics. Then when he reached school age he had private math, science, language arts, and other tutors since they were homeschooled for their childhood. It always bored him but he managed to get through even though it was like pulling teeth to get him to do the schoolwork. At least he enjoyed some of the other lessons like horseback riding and art.
Eventually he came to Vineheart because it was the private school for all of the Royal children and Dritan was your average royal child. He found that structured school life was even worse than the private tutors back in Albania since they were all about time and work. Again studies became a struggle but Dritan managed to develop a system that helped him get through and at least enjoy some areas of school life. When his third year came Dritan found himself hanging out with the fifth year royals and doing all of the stuff that they did and that included parting. He loved going out with people and when he went home for that winter break he found a way to party in Albania that his parent did not know about. In fact no one found out and Dirtan felt unstoppable when it came to things like keeping his life secret and still enjoying it.
These habits continued to follow him around and now he is midway through his fifth year, which is proving a challenge since after graduation he will have another year until he is crowned. Part of him is getting nervous about that and about the marriage neither wants to be in. But he is forcing himself to relax and just enjoy the last bit of freedom that he will ever have.
