Personality
Serious* He is every sense of the word 'serious'. Since he was a little boy he had been brought up on the fact that he had to take everything serious. He put work before any type of playing or fooling around to the point that he completely ignored the thought of acting childish. He became disapproving of it. He could tolerate it with others but it wasn't even an option for him. His work always came first and he wished others could understand this.
Kind Hearted* Despite his dark past and being a serious little thing he isn't cold. He has actually been able to retain a good heart. Don't expect him to get all sentimental on you but you can at least count on him to be a caring friend. He isn't insensitive although he may come off as such. He's just a normally keep to himself kind of guy but if you ever need someone to just listen for a couple of minutes then you can count on him.
Loyalty* His loyalty is probably his greatest trait since he hasn't lost the ability to trust people, he just doesn't let them in all that quickly. He has known the Korean royals for years now and would do practically anything for them. He's puts their needs before his. This can be said for those who have befriended him. Hiro can be a kind of hard person to get along with sometimes so for those who have actually the made the effort to become a positive person in his life he tends to keep that relationship very close. He may not so emotion very often but he does care about those most important to him. You can count on him to be there for you when necessary.

History
Dimitri was born on a fine day in the spring in Kyoto, Japan to a Japanese father and Korean mother. Sadly though, he wasn't born into a very happy life. He was born into the lower class of society. An only child both his parents worked hard all day long but they weren't exactly in the running to be parents of the year. His father was a drunk and abusive. His mother would get just as drunk but thankfully wasn't abusive. He got along with his mother very well, or at least well enough, and she really did try to be a decent mother which he appreciated. He couldn't say the same about his father though. No man like him deserved to be a father. His father would go on how Hiro was worthless and such. His father would go to work in the morning and come back heavily drunk. Hiro and his mother were lucky on nights when his father went straight to bed but on those occasions that his father was upset for whatever reason there was no hiding from his wrath. Hiro tried hard to take the pain and keep his father away from his mother but at the same time he was a child. He could only take so much.
This is how it was for years. Of course he would try to get his mother to leave his father and go live with his aunt, her sister, who worked in the palace of Korea but she always said no and that they needed him. Hiro never understood it but he wouldn't leave his mother alone in the hands of that animal and thus endured it for the longest time. Then came that tragic night. Hiro's father had lost his job and of course found comfort as he always did at the bottom of a bottle. Hiro, believing that his father would be out all night, stayed out a bit longer than he normally would. Perhaps out of wanting to prolong the next beating. This is where he always felt he had made the mistake. He was twelve as he made that long walk home. It was when he had finally arrived that his entire world had changed. He came home to find the police waiting for him with the house in complete disarray, both his parents no where to be seen. The look on his officer's face was that of complete sorrow. At first he didn't understand and asked where his parents were. It was with a heavy heart that the officer explained that in a raged frenzy his father had taken his mother's life and thus had been imprisoned. Hiro could not believed this and didn't know what to say and do.
Hiro soon found himself living in his aunt's home. A home he had asked his mother countless times to move to. It was a decent home. Far better than that he had grown up in. Hiro chose to work in the palace alongside his aunt. Dimitri would become a servant to the princess of Korea and thus now is attending Vineheart alongside her while trying to escape the shadows of his past.
