With March ending, it meant that the wedding was getting much closer. Most of the big things were all set, and her dress was getting altered, and of course she already had most of the wedding party all picked out. But of course there was one person she had wanted to ask, but she had to make sure it was okay with her mother. Things had still been strained with the whole truth thing, even though it had been nearly a year since it all came out. Things were still way beyond awkward with her and most of the Bulgarian family but it was getting there. So that was why she had decided to ask if Mira wanted to be one of her bridesmaids, their relationship had gotten much better so she felt okay asking her to be a part of her wedding. Her mother had approved, though she said that if Nada had thought to invite the queen to the wedding, that would still need to be thought. Not that Nada blamed her mother, it would be awkward to have both queen’s present, but of course she knew that Mira’s mother (well her mother too) would probably appreciate at least being invited. So as soon as her mother said it was okay to ask Mira, Nada sent the girl a text to ask if she was busy.
She asked if she wasn’t, if they could meet up in the gardens because she wanted to ask her something. Now Nada knew that she could have just asked her via text if she’d like to be a bridesmaid, but she really didn’t like to ask those types of things through electronic means. She was pretty sure that she would like the face to face interaction, and it would allow her to assure Mira if she didn’t want to be a bridesmaid she didn’t have to do it. So when she got confirmation that the other girl would meet her at the gardens, she grabbed Milenko and his leash and she made her way outside. She was pretty sure her dog would welcome the fresh air, though her brother had taken him out a lot in the past few weeks. Nada felt like Javie was keeping something from her, but she hadn’t prodded too much, though she might at some point. She closed the door behind her, as she made her way down the hall and towards the stairs. There were people walking around, heading outside to enjoy the fresh air, you could definitely tell spring was in the air now. Nada was just glad that the snow was gone, and that they could start dressing for the warmer weather. She could hear laughing and chattering as soon as she hit the courtyard, and she smiled as she headed towards the gardens. The flowers were blooming, and it would definitely allow her some distraction as she waited for Mira to join her. She took a seat on one of the benches as Milenko chased a nearby butterfly, she still held on to his leash securely because she didn’t want him running around without it. But she was so focused on him, that she didn’t realize that the person she was waiting for was approaching.
