Lottie still didn't completely trust Aurore but she just decided on going along with what was happening. She didn't want Aurore to completely hate her. For as long as Charlotte could remember she hated it when people had a strong dislike for her. Of course nearly every person on earth had to be hated. It was the way the world worked but she hated knowing that someone couldn't stand her and thought very poorly of her. The longer she would think of the concept of hate the more upset she would get if someone hated her. Of course Lottie was known for over thinking things. Honestly she could spend hours over thinking very simple things.
Aurore broke her train of thought by asking about Monte Carlo. Charlotte couldn't help but smile as she thought of Monte Carlo. The palace was in Monte Carlo so she had grown up in the city. Not exactly in the city it's self since that would be far to dangerous for a princess but she did have a good amount of fun. Her favorite place in the world was the Monte Carlo beaches. "Yeah it's really nice there. The beaches are really pretty." All she could hope was that she didn't sound as if she were bragging. Lottie started to wonder why she had never met the French Princess before. France and Monaco were right next to each other. You would think they would have met at some royal event but then of course her father never brought her to meetings or anything like that. That was only for her brothers. Sometimes she wished her Father could just pay a little more attention to her. Just for once. "So" she asked with a slight smile still on her face "Is France nice?" It wasn't the best question but she needed to keep the talk rolling or else that awkward silence would come. Awkward silences were just..... well...... awkward.
