( WORDS ) 723 ( TAGGED ) ROMEO VALENTINO OF ITALY ( STATUS ) COMPLETE Evening had fallen over the carnival and the rides and game booths had turned on their flashing lights hours ago. There were so many that it almost gave the appearance of full daylight, if it weren't for the fact that the slices of sky viewable through the light was completely black. For Gabriella this part of the day the most highly anticipated because one Italian prince was supposed to be meeting her somewhere in the vicinity of the Ferris wheel. As always, her stomach was full of butterflies for the Italian and Bri found herself having a nerves induced cotton candy craving as she strolled down the fairway, taking in the wide variety of games and adorable stuffed animal prizes. The sounds and smells were incredible, and the atmosphere was positively electric and alive with the excitement of the students. Gabriella couldn't remember the last time she'd been allowed to attend a carnival back home without all the pomp and circumstance that went with being who she was. In order for her to attend such an event in England the entire festival would be shut down for the day for the sole enjoyment of the royal family. It wasn't exactly the right carnival atmosphere if you got the drift, but truth be told Gabriella was having the time of her life. She'd arrived with Will and Victor, her servant quickly taking his leave and heading off to find his own company while she and her Slovakian best friend had wandered amongst the games, occasionally stopping to play one or another. About ten minutes ago however, Bri had been forced to part ways from her friend in search of the boy she was supposed to be meeting in a few minutes. Her senses were in overdrive as she headed for their meeting area, the sounds and mouthwatering scents serving to drive her to distraction. Speaking of things that were mouthwatering and distracting... Gabriella's chocolate eyes scanned the crowd in front of her for the familiar dirty blonde hair of the taller prince. Not spotting him, Bri ccouldn't fight her craving any longer and moved to get in line at the cotton candy stand. It was still too chilly at night to wear shorts and Bri still wasn't the biggest fan of skirts or dresses, though her attitude towards them had improved a bit over the past semester. This whole thing with the charming Italian prince still felt like a dream sometimes to Gabriella.Ever since their kiss jusst before the Christmas break her head had been full of thoughts about him, and they'd even gone on a few non-dates (as she insisted on calling them). The more time they spent together, the more things she learned about him and vice versa. He now knew that chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream was her favourite, that she loved anything that led to an adrenaline rush -including fast cars and roller coasters- and was secretly a fan of Star Wars. Of course, she'd made him promise not to tell anyone about the last part, and Romeo had been cutely mock serious about it, as was his way. The King member known as Vineheart's "heart breaker" was actually quite thoughtful and sweet, which were only two of the reasons Bri enjoyed spending time with him so much. They'd had class together just yesterday, but seeing him outside of class was far more enjoyable for the English princess. She'd changed clothes at least five times, trying outfit after outfit while trying to decide which he'd like the most. It was the first time she'd gone to such lengths for a guy, any guy. The cotton candy line was moving swiftly and within a minute or so Bri was at the counter, ordering her treat and pulling change from her pocket. At last she had the fluffy pink craving food and walked another thirty feet down the fairway before finding a vacant bench to wait for Romeo. Her hands immediately began pulling bits of the fluffy cloud off and putting them on her tongue, giggling at the way it dissolved on her tongue. It was shaping up to be a good evening indeed and she hoped he'd show up soon. Ferris wheel rides were free and Gabriella wanted to ride it now that it was dark out. Maybe she'd be able to steal a kiss on it, like in the movies. Her eyes scanned the crowd eagerly as she continued grinning and eating bits of sugary fluff. Figured I'd better get something up for these two so here it is :) table by CALIFORNIA DREAMING of CAUTION 2.0 |
