After sitting on the plane for a good six hours Kalli was beginning to get a little restless. She was the kind of person who needed to be up and moving and the plane ride was preventing her from doing just that. A few bathroom breaks gave her the excuse to get up and stretch, but a girl good only go so many times. Though she didn’t have it as bad as the people riding in coach, now that would’ve been torture. Kalli ordered another glass of wine and leaned her chair back a little further. She was supposed to be on the plane for another two hours before she’d reach the airport and then head off to her hotel near Rexford. As a surprise to her little brother, Kalli planned on visiting him. It had been a while since she had seen him and she missed him terribly. Her spring break had been back in February which she couldn’t fathom as to why it was so early. So she figured that before her brother went home it’d be nice to catch up. Their family back at home was a little crazy always competitive and oddly very reserved. As the steward handed her the glass of wine she smiled and thanked him. For some reason the people on the plane thought her to be of the legal drinking age and she wasn’t one to tell them otherwise. Back at home she could drink, but they weren’t in Greece. She took a sip and then opened the book she had been reading earlier. Fifty Shades of Grey, a very intriguing book in her opinion. Kalli was glad that Sera’s roommate had recommended it because now she was lost in a world that the princess felt she could relate to. Or at least that was how she pictured her life to be if she wasn’t a princess. The ding that warned passengers to put seatbelts on interrupted her from passage and she frowned. They were now about to land which meant that she still had a little bit of a ways to go. Kalli headed off to the rented car as her servant took care of her luggage. The ride to Rexford seemed to go by a lot quicker than she had remembered the last time she had visited. She sighed as they pulled up to her hotel and stepped out of the car to check in whilst her servant took care of the rest.
Kalli took a quick nap as soon as everything was taken care of because she had plans on visiting the Ice Box later in the evening. That was one of the places she missed most now that she was in college. Clubbing was one of Kalli’s favorite pastimes because not only did she get to dance and sing, but she also tended to find plenty of good looking guys who were more than willing to hook up with her afterwards. Now that she had a servant who was more than capable of driving her back to her hotel, Kalli was all for partying over there and getting messed up. The university had given them a three day weekend and she intended on using those days to enjoy herself and completely forget about school. She wasn’t the greatest student when it came to academics, but she wasn’t the worst either. Kalli found herself resting comfortably in between and being that she didn’t really need to do extremely well in college made her life so much easier to enjoy. She was first in line for the throne and was more than ready to take over for her parents, but they were kind enough to let her finish getting her degrees in Linguistics and Music. Once she woke Kalli took a quick shower and prepped herself for a night out. Being that it was a Friday Kalli hoped that there would be a few people from Vineheart there that she could talk to. Not that she minded meeting up with strangers they were just as good and more likely to sleep with her. The princess added the last finishing touches and was headed out the door as her servant followed on her heels. At the sight of the building a grin grew across Kalli’s lips as images of how her night was going to be flooded her mind. She opened up her jacket and offered the bouncer a smile as he let her into the Ice Box. Getting into the club was never a problem for her and it always gave her an ego boost as she passed by all of the unfortunate people waiting in line to get it. Her gaze swept across the busy room until she noticed someone familiar sitting in one of the booths near the corner. Without a moment’s hesitation the Grecian princess made her way over to someone she hadn’t spoken to in a long time. As she spotted Grayson Kalli smiled brightly at him and took off her jacket. Well hello there stranger. Long time no see! She said cheerfully and put her jacket down on the seat.

March had finally come into play and well the feelings that greeted it from the younger German prince were not very welcoming. There was still snow on the ground and therefore he was unable to look forward to the fact that spring break would be arriving in a few weeks, it did not feel like spring to him. As of lately, his thoughts had been very pessimistic and he was in need of a day lightener. Pirzi had been busy lately between college and what he suspected to be Sergej as her visits had been short and infrequent and then Xavier was off at Dartmouth and recently Grayson had lost track of Lunara's whereabouts. While they were off wherever they were, Grayson had started being more of a recluse as of lately, he was not being his usual social self for odd reasons. Tonight however, he needed to change that. It had been too long since he had wandered off campus and to Ice Box, the direction in which he planned on heading now. If anything, there should be cheap entertainment and alcohol to distract himself with, not too shabby for a night out compared to staying in his dorm room and contradicting some book he might be reading. Lately he was definitely in need of getting out more often, his horse had basically been his only company recently as he went on a few trail rides recently and had run into Nada once or twice but she was also busy with wedding planning as well. Everyone seemed to be up to something, well aside from Gray. He was not about to be all gloomy and beat himself up over it, it was just the weather that was getting him down he supposed. Reflecting on this would not get him anywhere as it was. Summer would be here before he knew it, that was one thought to tell himself to revive his hopes. Taking a warm shower, he dried off and then changed into a pair of jeans and a white v-neck, and grabbed the leather jacket which had his wallet in the pocket. He was going to offer Aurelia to tag along with him though he did not see her around anywhere so he supposed she already had plans of her own which was notorious of his servant.
Stepping outside his door and taking a breath in the cold air, he was able to quickly flag down one of the drivers that was constantly on hand at Vineheart and therefore he was soon dropped off near the Ice Box. Sometimes the bar could almost be like a home away from home for him really.Making his way into the bar after flashing the fake ID, he recognized a few familiar faces here and there but as usual there was quite the diversity in the crowd so there was a blur of strangers dancing and making fools of themselves in addition.Sitting at the bar, he barely had to make a gesture in order for the usual drink to be served to him on the rocks as the bar tender quickly slid it in his direction. Taking a few drinks of the strong mix every now and then, he turned on the swiveling stool to watch the crowd as they danced, half of them nearly falling on their faces as it was and the rest dancing scandalously with people they'd never met in most cases. Definitely the usual going on there it seemed. Upon hearing someone approach, the male glanced up to find the face of a familiar girl, chuckling lightly as Kalli was her usual self in not being shy in the least. It was second nature to her, she had always been that way. Since the Rose Ball incident last year, he knew he probably should hold some sort of a grudge against her but that had faded over time. X was now even happier with Bella and well Kalli was just Kalli. At the time of the incident, of course he had been rather pissed with her but what use was it now? Everyone had moved on sort of. It was not like he was not allowed to speak to her.Of course it was something that would never be forgotten though. Hey, I guess it has been a long time. How are you? He asked, trying to ignore the length and fit of her dress as distracting as it was. Gesturing lightly to the seat across from him while knowing there was no invitation needed to her. he spoke up anyways. Feel free to sit down. He murmured. What have you been up to in California? Causing hell I'm assuming. He stated with a small smirk before taking another drink and leaning back casually against the seat while waiting for her to start talking about her experience in the supposed sunny state. If that was truly the case, he was jealous in that sense but he turned his attention to her to listen with interest. Surely it had to be much more interesting than whatever was going on at Vineheart, or lack there of what was going on.

As soon as she had seen Grayson, Kalli knew that the night would be interesting. The X incident kept running through her mind and she wondered if something that happened so long ago would still affect his feelings towards her. Before the incident Kalli liked to think that she and Grayson were pretty close, but how close could one get to a sibling’s significant other? She intended on making it up to all of the German royals one way or another. Sera had talked with her over and over about how wrong everything was and eventually Kalli saw reason. Confronting them individually was going to be the toughest thing for her, but before she apologized to the siblings, Kalli wanted to have a long talk with X. So for now she was just going to have to play it cool and hope that he wouldn’t mention the incident. As Grayson greeted her Kalli stepped close to him and kissed his cheek then brushed her lips lightly across his as she moved to place a kiss on his other cheek. When she leaned back a satisfied smile grew on her face. I’m doing well thanks. How’ve you been? She hoped that he was at least doing something more than just studying because then she’d have to pull an intervention. When it came to school work Kalli did the most important things, the ones that would be counted as a grade, and then left the rest behind in order to have some fun. Kalli figured that she was smart enough to get caught up afterwards and if she couldn’t all she had to do was find a guy who knew what he was doing and get a bit of tutoring. What happened after the tutoring sessions varied depending on who her tutor was. Most of the time Kalli wouldn’t have to look for a tutor because she practically had guys throwing themselves at her and she wasn’t one to waste resources. With a smile she accepted his gesture and took a seat on the stool next to him. She swiveled her stool to face him and as she crossed her legs Kalli pulled the top of her strapless dress up a little to prevent it from falling completely down. The princess wasn’t too worried about flashing Grayson, but with her luck the paparazzi would swarm up around them and flash a scandalous photo. That wasn’t something she wasn’t too interested in for once.
Kalli glanced at the bartender and smiled when she realized he remembered her. The poor guy had been having a really bad night when they first met and being who she was they ended up flirting and then hooked up in one of the bathroom stalls. She thanked him as he handed her a glass with something new he had come up with. After taking a sip and giving him a thumbs up she turned back to Grayson and snickered at his causing hell comment. Oh the usual…parties, school and more parties. Sometimes I hit up the beach and work on my new found interest of surfing. You should totally come visit me and then we can party together and I could teach you how to surf. That was if he didn’t already know how to. Grayson always seemed like the kind of guy who would be willing to try something at least once and she hoped that he’d be willing to stop by California one of these days. What about you, how’s Vineheart? I’m sure you started up some kind of literary club that contradicts every single idea out there. She teased lightly. The girl couldn’t fathom what made reading so interesting to him and what made her laugh even more was that he always had something to say about what the author had written. Kalli wasn’t the biggest fan of reading, but she had no problem with debating various issues. As long as she had a general idea of what was going on the girl could argue like there was no tomorrow. Somehow Sera’s roommate had managed to get her to read the Fifty Shades series she was reading now and Kalli had decided that if every single book was more like what she was currently reading then her dislike for the activity might change. She took a sip of her drink and tilted her head slightly as she glanced his way. So what’s a hottie like you doing sitting here on your own when you could be out there? As she asked him she pointed in the direction of the dance floor. There was nothing like getting drunk and grinding on people or at least in her opinion that was the case. Kalli leaned back against the bar and took Grayson in. She hadn’t gotten the chance to do so earlier or at least not like she wanted to. He was looking really good and the leather jacket was always a favorite for her. She bit her lip studying him with a smile and had to fight the urge to lead him to the back for a bit of privacy. You’re looking really good by the way. I’ve always loved that jacket on you.

The Rose Ball had almost been a year ago now and it looked like the hard feelings had kind of faded or at least with Grayson they had. Originally he had been all sorts of fired up, of course but there was not any use in that now, was there? X was now engaged and moved on, P was still all fired up over it but that was just P. As for Grayson, what was done was done and over with. X was happy now, things had changed. He had gotten to know Kalli quite a bit when she and X were dating so he really did not think much of running into her at Ice Box aside from the fact that she should probably be off in California somewhere since he had not seen her since she'd changed to University. With Kalli's eccentric greeting, he was slightly confused as brow arched upwards. Bored as hell actually. He stated, not confronting her earlier gesture and finding it best to leave it be. Kalli was a flirt, just as she always had been and he had to keep reminding himself that. Grayson generally was not this bored as he had been recently but he had kind of strangely cut himself off from people a bit so therefore had been lacking in the amusement department. His schoolwork was done as he actually did do that the majority of the time, he would figure out something to do with his life since it was kind of necessary since he would not be taking the throne. He was considering joining a branch of the German army although he knew that Tarti was not overly fond of the idea. Nonetheless he was not just going to sit on the sidelines and look pretty for the rest of his life. With Kalli sitting next to him he knew it was not going to take long for her to draw attention as she pulled up her dress that was rather revealing as it was.Taking another drink from his glass, he considered what else to say while turning back for a moment as she ordered from the bar. Still the dancing crowd failed to interest him very much at this point.
Looking back towards her in asking what she had been up to, he chuckled lightly when she went on to comment about parties, school, and more parties. Naturally. He said with a small smirk. Surfing, really? That sounds interesting. I don't dare ask who taught you that one. Of course he was not shy in teasing with Kalli, he was that way with practically everyone. But I might definitely have to take you up on that one sometime in the future. He admitted with a small smile being shot in her direction, it was not like he was going to be hostile with her by any means. Rolling his eyes lightly as she asked about Vineheart, he shrugged. Same as it was last year. I am not nearly that boring thank you very much, I have a social life of some sort and do not want to ruin that by any means. Laughing lightly, reading was starting to drag on him now as he finally was looking forward to being outdoors again and doing something aside from burying his nose in a book. There were other things to entertain himself with. Paying attention to Kalli once again, he was amused at her next comment in asking what he was doing sitting at the bar. I prefer to watch people make fools of themselves rather than to be one of those fools. Or at least I need to have a few drinks before I stumble out that direction. Taking another sip from his glass as his eyes wandered over the people dancing again, he looked over to find Kalli glancing at him and he was slightly curious. Saying nothing, he went back to watching until she then complimented him.Blue eyes shot in her direction with a small smirk. Thanks I guess. You look very good yourself. I'm sure California is treating you well. He stated with a small wink. Taking the hint from her words earlier, he stood from the stool after finishing his drink and looking in her direction. I don't suppose you'd be interested in dancing? What was the harm in that? He was meaning it in a friends only sort of way of course, implying nothing aside from that. He was not breaking any rules at all and after all he had come here to have fun and Kalli had just happened to show up anyways.Perfectly harmless, that was Grayson's intentions at least. With Kalli however that might be easier said than done but that did not come across his mind as he easily lead her through the crowd and in the direction of the dance floor.

Grayson’s response surprised her. She wasn’t sure why he’d be so bored when he was in a club filled with plenty of attractive people and it wasn’t like the music was terrible. It was actually upbeat and there were quite a few songs that she wouldn’t mind dancing to. Kalli tried to recall the last time she had seen Grayson and if she was being honest with herself it was quite some time ago. She had a feeling that it was a little after the Rose Ball when everybody was still angry at her. There were other moments of course like when they were passing in the hallway or in the café, but Kalli didn’t really count those since they weren’t really interacting with each other. She smiled as he looked a bit confused by her greeting and shook her head at his remark. Oh my, well it’s a good thing I’m here now because that shall change immediately. Partying was basically Kalli’s life, so having fun and making things interesting was her specialty. As she looked around the club there were various groups of people dancing together and she smirked as she watched a drunk girl stumble around and sending her shoe flying as she fell into a few of her fellow dancers. The princess shook her head amused and lightly nudged Grayson. Do me a favor and don’t ever let me get that bad. Unless of course you’re willing to deal with the consequences. She said as she pointed in the direction of the shoeless woman. God the only way she’d allow herself to get that bad was at family functions where many of her family did that. In public it was a different story. Kalli had nothing against giving the papers something to write about, but doing that too many times would upset her parents. They had told her that it was hard enough to run a country and that they didn’t need to add worrying about her misdemeanors to their lists. She would usually roll her eyes at their comments and tell them that her security team should be dealing with it. Kalli tossed back the rest of her drink and asked for another from the bartender.
Kalli shrugged with a smile as he chuckled. It wasn’t too hard to predict what she would be doing because she usually did the same things all of the time. Party, school, sex and sports basically summed up her life and she honestly was ok with that. At his reply about surfing Kalli laughed, Yep it’s pretty amazing and smart man. You probably wouldn’t want to know, but even if you did I’d never tell you. Her surfing tutor happened to be one of the youngest professors at her university. They had met at a club the one night and had found a similar interest in outdoor activities. So one thing led to another and boom, the next day they ended up going out surfing. You definitely should and with my tutoring you’ll be a master in no time. Surfing wasn’t too difficult, all one really needed was good balance and with Grayson playing polo she knew that his balance was just fine. How else could he stay on a horse and swing at a ball that was quite a few feet below him? Grayson was quite attractive and as he smiled at her she had to fight herself to not giggle like a school girl. She had no problem with flirting with him, but the idiotic flirting she usually reserved for certain guys was not something she wanted to use on him. No way in hell. That terrible huh? Oh no? I think you’re going to have to prove it. The last time I checked you were quite boring. She teased with a wink. Kalli took a sip of her new drink before continuing, Let’s make a bet shall we? If you turn out to not be boring then I’ll do something for you, but if I win then you have to give me riding lessons. I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty envious of your riding skills. The princess was an outdoorsy person and she had always wanted to learn how to ride, but her parents were never the keenest on letting her anywhere near horses. Now that they seemed to be becoming more lenient, Kalli wanted to participate in yet another activity that she had never done. Ha! What happened to the reckless Grayson I knew? Don’t tell me you’re getting boring with your old age. She teased, with Grayson teasing came easy and it was very enjoyable because he usually had something witty to say back to her. When he looked at her as she was staring at him she smiled. If she were a normal girl that knew nothing about flirting whatsoever, she would’ve blushed, but staring at an attractive guy was never something she was embarrassed about. Why thank you kind sir, I appreciate your noticing and wouldn’t you like to know. She replied winking again. California was amazing and she was glad that she had selected her university. Kalli watched as he stood and raised a brow, but soon found herself grinning when he asked her to dance. Danke Sir, ich würde gerne tanzen. The girl replied in his native language with a smile. Being a linguistic major she had to learn many languages, but German happened to be one she learned when she was a child. Kalli was pretty happy with herself and how fluently she was able to thank him for the dance and say that she’d love to dance with him. So she hoped down off of her stool to another sip of her drink and then followed him as they made their way to the dance floor. Kalli was curious to see how this was going to play out especially since they’d be dancing pretty close to each other.

He really felt like he was turning into the boring type. Honestly he did not have the least bit of a reason for that anyway. This was supposed to be his last year of high school, his time to kick off his senior year but to this date, he had failed in epic proportions. Now that both X and P were off at college, it just did not seem quite the same any more plus Vineheart had been seemingly tame so far this year as well. He could not help but smirk slightly at her when she stated that she would be the one to change his boredom. Generally with Kalli around, that was how things worked. He was sure now would be no different then all those other times.Unlike last year, he really had not been one that was off to parties this year, obviously he needed to find a new hobby or two. Lately he had been far too gloomy and even he realized this. Following Kalli's gaze as she nudged him, he nodded with a small laugh at her comment. I don't understand why you would not want to be like that. He stated sarcastically, obviously that girl was going to have a hell of a night if she remembered it or not and most likely she would be feeling it the following day as well. Good enough for the girl, he failed to recognize her as an attendee at Vineheart so it was doubtful that her name would be in the papers for the mistake although it was still pretty sad in a way. He was not the type to get nearly that bad when he drank either, a few drinks and an easy buzz, he generally did not drink to get drunk actually. As Kalli finished her first drink already, he was just about finished his own and then passed forward another order for himself for the bartender although the guy was not nearly as friendly to him as he was Kalli. Why this was did not take much of a guess on Grayson's part and he mentally rolled his eyes lightly at the thought. It was pretty obvious to him how things with Kalli went any more.
The Grecian princess was pretty predictable in the same way she always had been. She was notorious for raising trouble while Grayson was more the type that was back behind the sidelines any more. It did not seem uncommon for the first in line royals to go a little crazy, then again there was all that stress on their shoulders so could he ultimately blame her? No, not really. He just did not know the feeling so maybe that was why he was a little more calm and not worried about getting the partying out of his system. Shaking his head lightly at her vague explanation of her surfing teacher, he quickly commented back. I'll pass on all of the details, thanks. The teasing tone still remained as he said this though. The surfing did truly interest him as it was something different, nothing you could do in Montana so he would definitely start thinking about taking her up on that idea sometime. Extremely. I think it's mostly because my favorite Greek Princess is gone. Saying this, of course he did not point out that she was the only Greek princess but it was still fun to just joke with her. I'm boring, really? I will definitely prove you wrong with that one. Glaring at her, he waited to hear her new mention of a bet and then was very amused by her proposition. Deal. He was very surprised when she mentioned that she had never ridden though it had been something that had always run rather strong in the German family really. In Greece maybe it made a little more sense though he was not too sure. Either way, he did not fully bank on losing the bet but if he did, it was not like it was that horrible of a task to do in the first place. My old age? Then you must be absolutely ancient. He chuckled lightly again well at least he was very much entertained now. It did not surprise him by any means that Kalli had gone to California, it seemed like the perfect place to attract her as there were plenty of people and places to see and things to do. As for himself, he did not believe that USC was in his best interest though he was still considering what University. When she accepted his offer to dance in fluent German, he was slightly impressed actually as he had not been quite expecting it. Moving out to the dance floor, there was a small moment where he second guessed this idea as there was a nagging thought that it may not be the best of ideas. This was soon waved off though as dancing with her was no big deal. It was not like he was having any bad intentions, he could dance with whoever he damn well pleased. This was not a big deal so there was no reason to worry about it, plus he was counting on proving that he was far from boring. Taking Kalli to one of the less crowded areas in order to not be jostled constantly by people, there was a smug expression on his face as the music changed to yet another upbeat song and he was soon finding himself moving easily to the beat of the music rather closely to Kalli without the slightest hesitation. P would probably chew him out right then if she saw this but he was semi-thankful for the moment that she was three hours away at University while X was a few states away.

Kalli laughed at his reply to her comment about the overly drunk girl. Sure, she’d been like that plenty of times during her years at Vineheart, but that was before she realized the damage the press could do to her. This was also why her parents were not the happiest to find out about her partying. Normally they allowed her to do her own thing as long as it wasn’t dangerous to her being or reputation, but getting caught and having her picture on the front page of the newspaper wasn’t something they appreciated. Kalli soon learned that she didn’t really blame them simply because going to one of those press conferences to answer to her predicament wasn’t exactly the greatest thing. She still went to parties and everything, but she decided that she needed to be a little more careful. Right now she wanted nothing more than to get that drunk with Grayson and help him to have a good time. That was basically the whole point of going to a club anyways. If that is a challenge sir I might be inclined to accept it, but if that were to happen I can’t really be responsible for the consequences. Plus I’d need to put my trust in you to get me to my hotel safely afterwards. All she needed was to find herself sleeping at some random place or in one of the lobby couches like she had done before. It was quite priceless actually, but when her parents called her the next morning pissed off about the picture someone had managed to snap and sent around the action was no longer that funny. But really though, how’ve you been? I really miss talking to you. She took a sip of her drink and offered him a small smile. What she had said was true. It seemed like after the incident anybody in association with Xavier with the exception of two or three people had fallen off the face of the earth for her. Slowly she had been managing to get back into contact with some of them, but when it came to X, P and Grayson, Kalli had been a little hesitant. She wasn’t sure whether they were still angry with her which with X she knew he would be and completely understood.
A smirk made its way onto her lips when Grayson had said that he didn’t want to hear about the details of her surf instructor/professor. It was a good thing because he probably wouldn’t have approved of that anyways. She wanted to get closer with him not drive him away. She had already done that once to the whole German royal family and she really wanted to make amends. Kalli arched a brow and gave him a look that basically said ‘are you serious?’ She smiled at him a teasingly said, are you sure about that? I know you must have plenty of questions. Though of course if he did have any questions she’d just give him yet another vague reply simply to tease him. She couldn’t help but laugh as he blamed Vineheart’s being boring because she wasn’t there. It was rather cute, but she decided not to call him out on the teasing. Oh how terrible. How ever do you plan on justifying this predicament? I mean there are very few Greek Princesses in the world after all. This was an answer she was intrigued to hear he always did come up with some of the funniest things. Mhmm you are. Bring it on Gray I’m always ready to prove you wrong. She replied teasingly though she wasn’t too worried about being right or wrong in this case. In reality she was hoping that her teasing was wrong. Kalli smiled sweetly at him as he glared at her, Great. Are you going to tell me what you want? I need to know what I need to save myself from doing. Again she teased; she was having a blast already and they had just sat down. The princess wasn’t too worried about winning or losing the bet. Either way she was sure that whatever they ended up doing would be entertaining. It usually seemed to go that way even when she hung out with him while her and X were still dating. At his mention of her being ancient she pretended to be insulted, pressing a hand to her chest and opening her mouth in fake shock. Now now, didn’t you ever learn that it’s rude to tease a lady about her age? She replied in a teasing tone, it was actually quite hilarious that he’d consider her ancient when they were only about a year apart. Then again, she had started it and couldn’t help but laugh. But yes, my being ancient makes me even wiser than you when it comes to the ways of a good time. So you’re in good hands. As she followed Grayson out on the dance floor and to a less crowded area she surveyed the people they past by and recognized a few face, but couldn’t place their names. Oh well she wasn’t really worried about them when she had Grayson as her company. When he started to dance to the new music Kalli stepped in closer to him and ran her hand up his chest lightly. Not too impressed so far Gray. She teased with a smile before turning around, swaying and rolling her hips to the music. As they danced she couldn’t help but wonder how X and P would feel about the two of them dancing together and soon realized that she didn’t really care. Grayson was a big boy and could make his own decisions, so she pushed the thoughts to the side and spun around continuing her dancing as she faced Grayson smiling.

While Grayson enjoyed having fun per say every now and then, he was not the type to make an absolute fool of himself. Since the drinking age in Germany was rather different, he was a lot more tolerant of alcohol so it took quite a bit for him to get drunk in the first place, not that he actually tried. Even if he did not carry quite the same amount of attention and responsibility as X, it did not mean that he was going to act irresponsible in a way that his country would frown on it. He stayed on the sidelines and out of the spotlight, find it to be the preferred place for himself. With everyone's attention focused more so on the twins, he was allowed to just relax and be left alone. Shaking his head lightly, his eyes were rolled yet again as she seemed to think his comment was some sort of challenge. I don't know that that is a good idea, by any means Kalli. He stated, knowing very well that it would not be as the last thing he needed was to be seen dragging a very drunken Greek princess to a hotel room; Royalscandal would be all over it without a doubt and he could only imagine the hell it would raise soon after. Really it was best to stray as far away as possible from a situation any where close to that. I've just been hanging out kind of really. Nothing too exciting, riding every now and then although the lovely Montana weather loves to interfere with everything. At least it was getting close to spring now, she probably had no where near the same problem in California and he was slightly envious of this actually. Her saying that she missed talking with him surprised him slightly as really he found himself thinking back to the last time they had actually spoken, time before the Rose ball really. He and Kalli had gotten along quite well actually, though they just talked when she and X were around somewhere aside from that they really had not run into one another too much before. Gray knew that P definitely did not think very highly of Kalli anymore though it was not like he would be the bearer of bad news to point it out. He personally had given up on holding a grudge in this case for now.
Knowing Kalli, it was always better to avoid hearing the details of how she came to learn things, she had a tendency to get what she wanted in ways he did not want to hear about. Surfing he was sure was not an exception so therefore he found the need to have her not elaborate by any means. Positive, definitely positive. He said with a small grimace just to add in for good measure. I honestly have no idea. I think it's just very hopeless. Saying this in a dramatic tone, the teasing did not fade easily. I'm undecided on it yet really, you'll be the first to know as soon as I do. Though he was not sure that he would manage to win the bet already, as much as he hated considering it. Kalli had different boundaries than he did when in public and due to the past history with his brother, well he better not even dare passing lines by any means tonight. There was a smirk on his lips at her comment before he merely shrugged. I must have forgotten, whoops. Holding a hand to his forehead, he sighed exasperatedly. I'm relieved. He stated with a snicker before leading her to the dance floor. As they started, he was not at all surprised that she was not impressed with his boring dancing. Of course. Remembering a step or two from P's dancing things, he was quick yet graceful in his movements before dipping her towards the ground with his body closer to his, face hovering quite closely to hers all with the hopes of catching her off guard. I might just bore you to tears then, Kalli. He commented caustically before standing back to his feet and pulling her back up again and twirling her along his arm. Dancing had never been his thing although he had picked up a thing or two along the way.

Kalli too had a high tolerance for alcohol which was something she liked to blame her family for since they were the ones who started shoving various beverages at her at an early age. Since there really wasn’t a legal drinking age it made building up a tolerance quite easy especially with all of the family functions and the parties that she went to. When Grayson had expressed his feelings about being caught in that kind of situation she had to agree with him. Things would definitely not go well if they were to get caught together drunk. The press would have a field day and her situation with the German royals would probably get even worse than it was now, though she didn’t really think it possible to get any worse. Kalli playfully frowned, Aww, party pooper! She was teasing of course because it was just that easy around him. Nah, I’m just playing, I totally agree with you on that. I’m not exactly in the greatest position with your family to be doing anything like that. The princess could just picture how X and P would react to seeing something like that in the paper. They’d go ballistic and even though she and X weren’t exactly talking he’d probably make his way down to California just to question her judgment. She nodded lightly as she listened to him talk about his various life activities and felt the need to drag him out to party with her more often. Yea, that’s one thing I don’t really miss about Vineheart. In Cali the weather is lovely which makes outdoor activities so much better. How’s polo going…you still play it I assume? The weather in California was partially a reason why Kalli had chosen her university, but she normally liked to tell people that USC had a really good linguistics program. For some odd reason she had a feeling that people wouldn’t think too highly of her if she told them that she was only there for the weather and the parties. Then again, she was already pretty low on most peoples’ lists, so she really shouldn’t have cared too much. As for polo, Kalli remembered that Gray was always a big fan of the sport and she had even gone to a few of his matches to show support. The princess hoped that he was still able to keep up with it though because he seemed pretty good at it.
She did her best to hold back a laugh as Grayson declined hearing about how she managed to get her lessons and who from. That was fine; she knew it wasn’t really something she should tell anybody about anyways because that would just make things a lot more difficult on her instructor. Alright then. So tell me, have you ever surfed before or at least seen someone surf? She asked with a curious smile as she brushed a strand of hair out of her face. Kalli wasn’t really sure whether he had learned before and she knew in her case that she hadn’t even really thought or knew too much about surfing until she moved to California. Maybe he was the same way. Oh what a shame, might I be of any help? She teased as their conversation about the lack of Greek princesses in the world. A laugh escaped her when Grayson had said that he wasn’t sure what his end of the deal would be and at one point she was tempted to throw this little competition of theirs just to see what it was he would have to come up with. Well now, I guess that means I’m going to have to beat you, she joked as she lightly nudged him. Kalli was glad that she had decided to visit the Ice Box now. Running into Grayson had certainly already made her night and she laughed again as he shrugged off her little age joke. With her hands on her hips, the princess shook her head lightly and tsked. Whatever will I do with you? A smile grew on her lips as he sighed and told her that he was relieved that she had years of experience under her belt when it came to a good time. The dance floor wasn’t as crowded as she had seen it in previous years, but it still full enough that they ended up near the edge of the floor. She offered Grayson a wink when she teased him about his dancing being boring and lost herself to the beat of the music. He had taken her by surprise when he dipped her and brought her in close and she was a little mortified at the squeak that left her lips. Grayson! She found herself grabbing hold of his biceps as she tried to gain back her balance. Holy crap that was awesome! Where’d you learn to do that Mr. Astaire? Kalli asked this with a grin on her face after he twirled her around and brought her back close. If he continued to dance like this she had no doubt that he would be winning the bet and honestly she didn’t even mind losing.
