Mitsuo was still smiling when Kai handed him the camera to see what their picture looks like. He smile turned brighter seeing that the picture looked great. He could imagine his mother’s expression when she sees this. The picture seems to show that they were having a great bonding as brothers. It may not be exactly the same in reality, but Mitsuo would be glad if his mother is pleased with this.
He looked around where he was sitting to see if there’s still the same flower nearby. He wanted to make a funny pose for a picture so he wanted to pick a flower. As he found one just a few inches away from him, he pulled the flower gently from the bush. As Mitsuo held the small pink flower on his hand, Kai suddenly spoke up, apologizing for being his terrible self. Mitsuo paused and looked up to him. He knew Kai very well, and he is aware it wasn’t easy for his brother to say those words. Mitsuo played with the tip of the step of the flower as he looked down. He was trying to think quickly how to respond to Kai’s words. Sometimes he had tendencies say things he really did not mean to say. “You really don’t need to apologize.” Mitsuo said as he stood up from squatting on the ground. “How about doing it more in action than in words?” He added. He didn’t know if it would sound bad, but Mitsuo wanted his brother to do things in action rather than in words. For him, there’s no use with apologizing if you don’t mean it.
Silence filled the area as Mitsuo thought of what to do next. He hated being dragged into drama or any serious talk. He looked at his hand as saw the flower he picked earlier. He placed it behind his ear and pose in front of his brother. He tried to mimic his sister’s cute pose. “Cheese!” Mitsuo said as he tried to change the topic by exposing his silly side.

Kai wasn't one that showed emotion all the time mainly because he was so busy with other things he didn't have the time to showing emotion unless truly necessary. That was why at the moment he was out of his comfort zone. It wasn't that he disliked apologizing because Kai was one that was honest to a fault but this time it was a tad awkward because he wasn't sure how it would turn out. Normally he was collected enough that he was able to assume how the other person would react but at the moment he couldn't say the same about his brother. It could go either way.
By the sound of it though there was still hope in reconciling their relationship which was great news for Kai. He started laughing at his brother's foolishness, obviously the younger prince was trying to change the mood and topic. Kai began taking pictures of his brother. No doubt his mother would love these since was always filled with joy at the sight of her children smiling. The same was said for Kai, even though in recent years he's probably brought on more sadness rather joy. Mitsuo's current poses reminded him of his younger sister which no doubt was the affect he was going for. "Miko would think you're mocking her if she saw you." he said with a chuckle. "Okaa-san is going to love these." When Kai caught sight of the flowers again he remembered about the Rose Ball that would be coming up soon. "Are you going to be going to the Rose Ball Mitsuo? No doubt you have a row of girls hoping for you to ask them." he said teasingly. He himself was going to the ball with a friend but since he hardly talked to his brother anymore he hadn't the faintest idea of what his brother had planned. "Hey, when we get back why don't the three of us have lunch together. You two can tell what you've been up to." he was referring to the two of them plus their sister. He had to start being a better brother at some point.

Mitsuo still felt bad for himself somehow for being too dependent to his older siblings. Being the youngest isn't always fun at all. He didn’t like the way Kai talked to him, since he felt like he made him feel that he was too cold towards him and Miko. Maybe he was way too stubborn for making Kai feel that way.
He continued making little poses, still mimicking his twin sister, even some were of his older sister’s. Someone is going to be slapped by to young ladies once these pictures were exposed. “Hahah! She had to catch me first in case she tries to hit me when she sees those!” He stopped making poses when Kai asked him about the Rose Ball. He turned around and started to look around for any other interesting stuff across the area. He swung his arms as he answered back to Kai. “Of course!” He chuckled as he looked back to Kai, and then he continued walking. It wasn’t that Mitsuo didn’t like any of the girls in his class, but he was quite a mischievous boy that some of the young ladies seem to stay away from him. There’s always his twin sister to accompany him just in case he fails to get a partner on the last minute. He was hoping she hadn’t been asked by anyone yet.
Mitsuo glanced back to Kai when he asked him to have lunch together with his twin sister. It seems someone is starting to make some progress with his promise. Mitsuo nodded to Kai. “Sure. I’ll tell that to her.” He was hoping this won’t be the last time Kai will try to interact with him and his sister. He continued walking around in circle, letting Kai take pictures for his project. “You still have to take pictures for the newspaper, right? I’ll just be right over here. Take your time!” Mitsuo crouched beside a tree and looked at the beetle crawling on the ground. He did not want Kai to think that he was taking too much of his time, even if that was what he really wanted.

Kai couldn't help but chuckle at what Mitsuo said about their sister. He could just imagine her chasing Mitsuo around for mocking her. He wasn't quite sure if Mitsuo meant what he said about the Rose Ball but figured that he'd leave it as that and not really question it. He rather not push the subject if he didn't have to. He was just happy that Mitsuo had accepted his lunch invitation. He didn't thing there was any reason as to why his sister wouldn't want to. Of course unless she was busy with other things, which of course was always Kai's own excuse as to why he could spend enough time with them.
Kai was brought out of his thoughts when Mitsuo said that he still needed to take pictures for the paper. He looked at his camera as if it had just appeared when he did remember the initial reason he had come out to the forest. When he looked back at Mitsuo the younger prince was busying himself with something. Kai just smiled and decided to take a few pictures of him like that. "I think I got everything I need. Why don't we head back? You and Hoshi can try to beat Arashi and I again." he said a bit teasingly. He looked back at his beloved stallion and clicked his tongue. The horse instantly walked over from its place near the bank to his side.
