Miguel ran a hand through his damp hair, watching his reflection in the mirror. He didn't look great, but he would look terrible in a few hours anyway, so it hardly mattered. He had showered at least, so he would only smell like booze, not booze and B.O. Sometimes he felt guilty for taking two showers a day (one before going out, one after), but considering a shower for Miguel was all of about five minutes, he figured he could get away with it.
The prince was about to walk out the door when he caught sight of his book bag, banished to the corner like a naughty child. He normally at least looked at his homework before deciding not to do it, so that he wouldn't be clueless during the review if nothing else. He didn't need any more reasons to zone out while the teacher was talking. This time, however, he simply shrugged and kept walking. He would need to sleep through a couple periods after this one anyway. Maybe he'd just take the day off.
Once out in the hallway, Miguel walked a few yards and then stopped by Dirtan's door, making his ritual pre-party knock. Likely his friend would simply make his ritual pre-party excuse, and Miguel would carry on alone, but he had to try. It was a Sunday, not your typical day for a party, and that would no doubt be the Albanian's excuse, but again, he had to try. The local kids apparently had the next day off for some obscure government holiday, and they were taking full advantage of it, extending the party schedule another day. Miguel, being Miguel, did not intend to miss it.

It was your typical Sunday night for the Albanian prince. His servant had banished him to his bedroom while she went over to the library without since if he had gone with her he would have been some sort of distraction. NEVER! But the truth was that it was hard for Dirtan to studay on a Sunday night unlike Heidi who could study from dawn until dusk every night of the week and he respected her ability to do so. In return she respected his need to just have some time off on Sunday since she dragged him to the library every day that week. The only side effect of going to the library so often was that his grades were improving and people were saying that Dirtan was growing up.
It amused Dirtan that they said things like that since in his current state he was sitting in front of his television while playing videogames in nothing but his boxers. Heidi would yell if she saw him in such a state but hey a guy could do as he pleased in his own dorm room. Still there was a sense of sadness since he had fallen from his glory days where he could party non stop for days on end and still attend his classes and barely pass them. They days when his life had an end result. Becoming king was all that Dirtan had known and now that was not the path he would take anymore. The once proud party boy crowned prince was just a prince sitting in his boxers playing videogames on a perfectly good Sunday night.
Then there was a knock on the door and he groaned since he assumed that Heidi had decided it was time for him to studay since she probably remembered that he had a test coming up. So he paused the game and slipped on the closes shirt. "Coming!" He yelled out as he fumbled around the room to get to the door. Once he got to the door he opened it and saw Miguel standing there. "Thank god its just you." He said and then quickly glanced up and down the hall in hopes to avoid Heidi's crazed studying. "Whats up Miguel?" He asked although he knew the responce that was coming. So many excuses came from Dirtan since the semester started and to be honest he was running low. The Albanian prince leaned against the door frame as he waited for the coming question.
