DEAR JOURNALback to vineheart for my last year. i don't know if i'm excited or depressed.
i'm missing my brother, my best friend and my boyfriend. they all graduated. and then anna went off and changed schools and is in stokholm. i mean, i have nada, but she just got married and has her whole plate full. i feel really lonely.
but i guess it's okay because at least i have dance and cheer, the queens and running. i'm up to 10 miles a day now. and i'm the new cheer captain, which is really amazing, and i'm co-captain of the dance team. with aubrey. ugh, so awkward. we used to be friends, and it seems like a hundred years ago, and now we're so entwined it's insane.
i changed rooms this year, since anna graduated. it's very strange since i have lived with her since first year, but i'm living with nada and stasiya, which is really nice. nada and i are pretty good friends and i've never had a problem with stasiya, although i admit i don't really know her well. i really only know her from dance classes, but i think it's going to be a fun year, despite all of the things that have changed.

DEAR JOURNALso today was the first day of school. my schedule is so relaxed it's not even funny. i guess that's the one good thing about taking extra classes all of the previous years, it leaves me with nothing left by fifth year. i've got anatomy with professor mcsteamy and i don't know how i'm going to pass without cutting my finger off. luckily i don't have to take anymore math since i managed to pass last year (barely) and it was the last required math in order to graduate. everyone else is just an over-achiever. i've got psychology, which will probably be a breeze, brit-lit, economics and french and the rest of my schedule is all elective courses- cheer, dance, choir, culinary arts and two study halls. it's nuts is what it is.
we announced the official queens today. aubrey teamed up with leena to become co-head queen which is literally the most absurd thing i have ever heard of. so now i have to deal with aubrey all year while also dealing with the fact that leena and johanna are joined at the hip. at least there is a couple of saving graces. vivien joined as the fifth girl, so at least i'll have my cousin on my side, even if she is friends with aubrey. and aisling and ari are both proteges, so it's not like i'm in a group of girls i can't stand. besides, it's only one more year and as i've been saying since day one, it's better to rule with this group than stand against them. a little bitching, cat scratching and hair pulling isn't all that bad when compared to the things i've seen them do to girls over the years. and besides, we throw the best parties and this year it will really be my turn to throw an awesome one instead of being assigned a menial task like fetch the balloons.
