She loved singing though she did not have a very great voice. But there was no one in the room and it gave her a reason not to hesitate to do what she liked. Music made her happy and made her life wonderful. But it was only when she was all alone without anybody’s watching. The Swiss span around on her feet, imagining the broom was her dancing partner and keeping on singing. The silent atmosphere was completely destroyed. It’s far beyond a star, It’s near beyond the moon, I know beyond a doubt, My heart will lead me there soon “Who’s there?” Constance stopped singing and dropped the broom. She could felt the eyes of someone watching her from distance. After looking around, her eyes landed on the door. Standing there was a very familiar figure which Constance had no difficulties in figuring out who it was. “Well… I expected to have some privacy.” She grumbled. Aurore walked through the school hallways, listening to mindless chatter about the prank Connie had just pulled on the teacher. She had to admit, it was a pretty good prank, but everyone talking about it was irritating her. "Okay, we get it, there was a prank, lets move on," the French princess thought to herself as she pushed through the dispersing crowd. Everyone was heading towards the doors, leaving to go outside. Apparently, the weather was very nice today, so that meant all the girls could dress in skimpy clothing, and everyone could go outside for every waking moment possible.
It was safe to say Aurore wasn't in a great mood at the time, mostly because of her classmates. Usually, in these times, she liked to head over to the auditorium and do whatever she needed to do. Sometimes, she preformed skits in front of nobody, or sang little songs. Being the way she was, she didn't care whether or not anybody came in and saw her singing, dancing, acting, or doing whatever else she could think of, because she didn't care what their thoughts of her doing that were.
Stepping into the auditorium, however, Aurore spotted an unlikely sight, one that made her stop in her tracks. None other then her roommate Constance, standing up on stage. Well, not so much standing. Singing and dancing around with a broom. Anastasie stood there for a moment in complete shock, just watching. When Connie spoke to her, Aurore snapped back into reality, taking a few steps closer to the stage before speaking. "As did I," she replied to the other girl. "Is there a reason you're in here? I didn't think you were into stuff like that..." The French princess shrugged at this, supposing she didn't know her roommate as well as she thought.

side to anybody except her brothers as she believed it would ruin her reputation. Constance liked music because it made everything become so easy to take but music was something too mushy and artistic for her. She hardly could imagine a prankster who had the soul of an artist and it would make her seem so… nice. Constance dropped the broomstick when she heard the comment came from the killjoy who accidentally found her in a very stupid moment. She stared at the girl without blinking before jumping off the stage. “You are always a killjoy, Aurore.†She mumbled in her throat as she walked toward the French princess. “Well… you saw what happened in the previous class. This is… my reward.†The Swiss said in response to her roommate’s question. “You should do that sometimes. It’s fun!†A smirk grew on her lips when she remembered the little prank she had pulled on her teacher a few minutes earlier. It was the funniest moment had ever been captured in this school year. She hoped it would be mentioned in the yearbook. The teacher had never been so angry like that for a very long time. Probably, he should have thanked her for setting him free from such a boring daily routine. Didn’t adults get sick of doing the same things everyday? She was doing him a favor because it was not everyday he could sit on a stinky bomb and it was not everyone who would be willing to give him some nice surprises to make his day become special. Aurore uttered that she had not thought Constance had been in to something like music. It was totally understandable. No one would believe that one of the most famous pranksters of the whole school could sing. “I guess it is one of my hidden interests.†She replied with another smirk. Aurore was her roommate and they got along with each other quite well, despite the fact that none of them knew each other so well. All Constance knew about her French friend was that she was a huge fan of tea and she disliked American football while Constance was desperately in love with it. They were clearly too different to be some kind of close friends but they were not enemies either. They merely did not have so many chances to hang out together as they did not seem to have a lot of stuffs in common. Thus, Constance had never thought that girl would be the first person who was not one of her siblings to know her little embarrassing hobby. “I didn’t hope you knew that either. But you know now.†The Swiss sighed heavily. “But you should not misunderstand that I am interested in musical things because I’m not. If you let anybody know what you have experienced today, my reputation will be completely destroyed and I will not let you finish your school year safely.†A little threat slipped out of her lips. Constance stared at the French princess for a few more minutes to make sure that the girl had understood what she meant. “I have tones of new games that I have nobody to experiment on.†She said before turning around and got back on stage to keep on cleaning the place. Sweeping the floor was the most boring thing on Earth. She began to wonder how she could learn to behave nicely by sweeping the floor. She wished somebody had helped her. Suddenly, a bright smile appeared on her lips. “Hey Aurore!†She yelled across the room. “Would you mind if I asked you to help me? I was about to ask you why you were here but you are here after all.â€[/blockquote][/blockquote] tagged;; Anastasie of France words;; 700 wearing;; click!status;; finished notes;; Sorry it took so long! Aurore smirked a bit at the killjoy comment. It seemed a bit ironic to her, all things considered. She was usually the one to create the fun, or at least thats how she was back in France. Here, it seemed everyone else was the same way, with a few exceptions. It looked like Connie was the iconic trouble maker. One might think this would make Aurore jealous, but she really didn't care. Being that person could be quite difficult. Always looking out for your rep, always needing a little joke or a prank now and then to keep everyone on their toes- it was exhausting. The Academy let her become the girl who showed up to parties, who helped others with their pranks... It was easier. And, being as lazy as she was, it was therefore better. Even so, she didn't think "killjoy" would be a fitting name, even when you put into account how snarky and smug she was towards everyone. She shrugged it off though, her thoughts going towards "let Connie think what she wants, nothing I say will change her opinion.
She let these thoughts go as Connie replied to her comment. Singing as a hidden talent seemed common in this day and age, as it seemed people thought it "uncool" unless you planned on making a career out of it. Career, not meaning broadway, but rather going to America and getting a record deal. Not that Aurore really minded it, it was just a bit annoying for others to believe that. Keeping other people out of her mind was one of Aurore's talents, however, and she figured she'd soon forget that it vexed her at all for them to think that. Sure enough, her mind started floating off to other subjects, like how she used to lock herself in her room and listened to hours upon hours of Maroon 5, Train, and other bands of the like, memorizing songs and singing under her breath, dreaming of one day singing to others. Or wondering if she would ever be looked up to as a good performer, all the while doubting the probability of that happening. These thoughts depressed the young princess, and she desperately hoped for Connie to say something else to get them to leave her brain. As if on cue, the other girl spoke. A threat, of course, to keep the Swiss's secret hobby under wraps, but that was all a bit expected for Aurore. Every once in a while, like today, she would find herself in the right place at the right time, learning something new and being threatened to keep it away from others. Blackmail wasn't something she usually did, but it was nice to know she had the power every now and then. For now, Aurore didn't plan on using this for anything. She didn't suppose Connie was a threat, and she actually kind of liked the other girl. Besides, Constance was her roommate, and she didn't want to have to live with someone who hated her.
Deciding that it was best to stay away from the Swiss for now, Aurore turned to go. But just as soon as she had, she heard Connie call something down to her from the stage. Asking her for help. Help with cleaning of all things, as if Aurore knew the first thing about that. Never-the-less, the French girl put on a sickly sweet smile and turned to face her roommate. "Sure, I'd love to help." she said, her words containing just a little hint of sarcasm, but not enough to be very noticeable. She dropped her bag and hopped up on stage to join the other girl, a slight bit of suspicion hidden within her eyes as she wondered what Connie was up to.
