Personality
Mysterious. If there was one thing Anna would be, it would be that she is quite the mystery. A quiet soul, Annalie does not live for attention, though attention always seems to find her. She prefers to be the audience rather than the actor; she keeps the matter of her hearts to herself instead of shouting them to the world and, honestly, she keeps her heart encircled by a wall, forever afraid to let herself get broken again by someone she loves. As much as she is mysterious, Anna is also alluring; she is unpredictable and beautiful, always seeming as she is looking right through you with her deep ocean eyes, always holding herself with grace and finesse befitting a princess, without the arrogance that often comes with.
Witty. When Annalie does speak, her words are sliced with wit and play, her humor enticing and her playful nature obvious. Though she is not exactly bold, she is not afraid to say something sarcastic, but all her witty comments are usually in a quiet voice, leaving only those who really listen to catch just exactly what she says. Annalie isn’t too flirty, but she does have her moments when she can entrance the boys in a snap; just one little pout and a mysterious smile and she’s got you hooked. She does not flaunt herself or her humor, so only those truly close to her know her well enough that she always has something funny to say back.
Stubborn. There is no doubt that Annalie is extremely stubborn. When forced to do something she does not agree with or does not want to do, she will fight to finish to get her way. Though Ann is not bratty, being raised as an only child – and a princess, at that – does allow her to make her own decisions, and she refuses to do something against her will. Annalie is a very strong and independent individual, and does not wish to be tied down to one thing for too long, including when it comes to guys; after her father’s death she tended to keep her emotions locked, feeling that it is better to feel nothing at all than to have to feel the sorrow and anguish she knew she would feel. Therefore, Ann has issues with commitment – if she begins to fall for a guy, she will push him away, afraid to get her heart broken and afraid to have the wall holding her emotions crumble into ruins.
Carefree. Though she has been taught to act a princess should, Annalie does not always follow these rules; she is light and airy and carefree, choosing to follow her own path rather than chain herself to the one expected of her. However, she does know the difference between independent and rebellious – when it comes to dinner parties and political events, Annalie will make her mother proud by being perfectly polite and perfectly simply, never telling the paparazzi too much but not closing herself off from the country that adores her. But when it comes to doing things her own way, Annalie will almost always choose the path she thinks is right rather than choosing the path that is most often taken, because she has learned that not everything that is popular is always right.

History
On the cold twenty-second night of December, among Christmas lights and brilliant white snow, the beautiful baby girl of the King and Queen of Sweden was born. They named her Annalie, the child of grace and beauty. That Christmas was one of the most celebrated in the history of Sweden; King Gjord and Queen Delfina had spent five years trying to have a child, but to no luck, until finally sweet Annalie came along. Though she was not an heir to the throne, she was still a royal princess, a future ruler and hope for the apprehensive country. The people adored her, scoured the newspapers for information about her, the only child of the beloved rulers. As Annalie grew, so did the love for her – she was a beautiful, alluring child with long blonde ringlets and bright blue eyes: the perfect picture of angel. Her beauty was obvious from the time she was a toddler, even through her awkward pre-pubescent stage when her body was going through changes and she was forced to have braces for a year or two.
At an early age she showed signs of independence, always adventurous and wanting to do things “on her own”, though on her own meant surrounded by five guards. She was an intelligent child, very precocious and very sweet; the paparazzi adored her because she always flashed them peculiar smiles, smiles that seemed as if she knew more than she let on. Her spoiled, of course, being the only child, but she did not take this for granted, always extremely excited for every gift that was received. Annalie was not without her mother’s stubborn nature, however; the Polish family seemed to have a long line of stubbornness, and Annalie inherited this trait. She threw her fair share of fits and was very innocent was straightforward in her questions of why she should do something, to her parent’s dismay. She was, however, adored by her father – she was a daddy’s girl by every mean, and their relationship was very close and very special.
This relationship, sadly, was ruined by her father’s untimely death. His cause of death was an unexpected airplane crash while flying to Romania to see his sister for her birthday while Anna and her mother stayed home to keep the country in check. It was a very grevious time for the entire country, but especially for Anna, who was twelve years old and old enough to cry her eyes out every night. She was reserved for quite some time, but the people were nice enough to give the royal family space to mourn over their loss. When it came time to attend Vineheart Academy at thirteen, Annalie was a very quiet and sad child, albeit beautiful, but very solemn. She kept to herself her first two years of school, focusing entirely on her academics and extracurricular activities and rarely putting herself out there. She was not ignored, though; her beauty was startling, but it was her mysterious sad eyes that made the other nobles wonder why such a beautiful girl was so full of sorrow. It wasn’t until she turned fifteen that Annalie learned to lock up her emotions, and soon she made friends, who quickly learned that Anna was full of wit and sarcasm, and not just the lonely girl they all thought she was. Boys started to notice not only her lighter aura but her growing curvaceous body, thin and lean and just like a goddess. And though she was flattered by all the attention, she pushed the boys away, not wanting to get hurt like she had by fresh memories of father’s death.
Her final year at Vineheart has just ended, and was quite the whirlwind for Anna. It was by the end of the year that she recognized her feelings for her best friend's brother, Dario, and the two have been dating all summer. She's nervous to go off to University because she doesn't know how far she'll be from Dario, but wait until she hears the announcement from her mother...
