This summer was starting to get stranger and stranger by the moment. When he had gotten the call from his mother when he was in Spain asking him to be on the first plane home he had known something was wrong but had not known anything of the details. After the night at the Masquerade where he had met a girl that was so mysterious and still on his mind he had not wanted to leave right away especially since she had left her necklace behind. He had not wanted to trust it under the care of just anyone and wanted to be the one to give it back, just as soon as he had confirmed that it was indeed the Belgian servant. Elise. She had spoken about coming to Mexico anyways so he knew that even if his suspicions had been wrong that they would eventually meet up again, possibly at school the next year unless she was a fifth year. Though when he had talked to Aubrey and she had told him what her servant had been wearing the night of the masquerade he knew he was right. With a red eye flight in the morning he did not even get the chance to say good bye to his cousin though he knew that he would be seeing more of Dante before the summer was over he would send him a text when he deemed it an appropriate time that he would be awake after the night that turned out to be quite long. During the flight he had been given a Mexican local newspaper and this was when he learnt of the problems that his mother had been worried about. His father had been forced to step down from the throne on charges of being affiliated with a local gang. His stomach churned since he knew that this was nothing to do with his father but rather to do with himself. His father had taken the fall though and knew that his time for the throne was up, he would much rather allow his son to take over a little earlier knowing that Alaric would step up to the plate and rule. He had one more year before this came into effect as well so therefore he deemed enough time for him to settle in and take the news in. Until then a counselor would be making all the decisions for the country. One of the most trusted men was appointed for the time being and Ric was to oversee the decisions from afar. Another stipulation that he had not realized at the time was that he was going to have to be a married man. After all who was going to look up to an eighteen year old King who was also a bachelor? This would be too much of an issue, and his mother did not want to set him up with a Royal family that would ask too many questions, do too much digging into the past and the scandal and possibly reveal the truth. They could not handle that, not to mention most of the Royals in the school were already arranged in marriages by now. So when Elise had been around to catch the last bit of the conversation she had become the perfect candidate and he was very surprised that she had not protested too much.
It was a lot to be launched into, a marriage to a man that was going to be ruling a country, he would not have wanted it for himself. Leaving a life that she knew well behind her and stepping up to be a Queen, she was brave, and this was one thing he found himself admiring amongst other things. He was not aware of how her parents had handled it but he did know that it was all taken care of and that things were rolling in a forward momentum. He found himself appreciating that the girl would agree to marry him under the special circumstances and he was very grateful. Unlike most of the spoiled brats back at the school he was not repulsed by the idea of an arranged marriage, he was going to make this work, for the both of them and the determination was much stronger than anything else. So that was why the trip to Spain was going to work to his advantage. He needed to talk to the girl’s best friend and while he was there on business and just for two days he was going to be able to at least have lunch with her. He had texted her the night before telling her he was coming and wanted to have lunch with her today when he arrived at the airport since this was a day that he was given to settle in before the meeting and leaving once again tomorrow. It was a very brief trip with a long way to come but he needed to return to Mexico since Aubrey and Elise were still there. Stepping off the plane his bags were taken to where he was staying and he headed in the direction of the small café taking a booth in the corner where it was the quietest waiting for Bella to arrive and a smile was shot towards the girl as he spotted her walking through the door and she was waved in his direction.

Bella had been sitting in the palace kitchen, knowing fully that she had to meet Dante for his first meeting after lunch in a few minutes. This was what she was supposed to do until they returned to Vineheart, she still wasn’t allowed to take over her job fully (because according to the queen she was still on vacation) but she was given the task to make sure Dante didn’t do drugs again. Obviously she couldn’t follow him everywhere so she wasn’t entirely sure if he was doing them or not. She hoped that he had learned his lesson and would be off drugs for a while, if not permanently off of them. It was a habit that Bella wished she could just make him break but of course she wasn’t an all-powerful being and there was only so much she could do. She smiled at the cook who obviously knew that she was bored, and he poured her some more lemonade. Even though she had cut her hair a little over two weeks ago, it was still pretty humid outside so she was still pretty hot. Just as she was taking a sip of her lemonade a text came in. It was from the prince of Mexico, Dante’s cousin and of course Ellie’s new fiancé.

That news had come as a complete surprise to Bella when Ellie had texted her to let her know. It was rather weird, especially because she had no idea that her best friend would actually ever marry anyone that she didn’t know all that well. Her best friend had a heart of gold (much like Bella’s situation, people often wondered how Elise put up with Aubrey as Bella did with Dante) and well she knew that she would do whatever it was to help the people she cared about. It was also interesting that the Prince of Mexico fit that category but life was full of surprises. She saw that he wanted to talk to her, and knowing fully that she was supposed to be taking care of Dante. But she also knew that the queen of Spain loved her nephew very much and therefore would allow Bella to go speak to him. She thanked the cook for the lemonade promising she’d be around to help with dinner preparations (if she was allowed) and made her way to the queen’s study where she found her mother and the queen. She explained that Prince Alaric wanted to meet with her, and of course they were curious but Bella honestly answered saying that she wasn’t sure what this was about. The queen said it was fine, and that she could take the car, and Bella thanked her before hurrying off to grab her bag. Cosita was at home with her father, and so she knew she wouldn’t have to worry about her being fed yet. She told the driver that they were going to the airport, and they were off. She arrived just in time, which was good because Bella hated being late. Obviously the Prince was a bit earlier than she was, so he was already seated at the little café as she entered it and walked over. She wasn’t sure how she was supposed to greet him just because in all honesty she wasn’t sure why she was there.

“Sorry, I had to let the queen know where I was going and she wanted to know why you wanted to see me” she said, “But in all honesty, I’m not sure why you wanted to see me. Is something wrong with Ellie?”

His cousin had always been a handful and he had always admired Bella for being able to take care of him like she did. He was always glad that he was seen as quite the opposite as Dante, he was soft spoken, tended to be passive and avoid conflict and be easy going. He was by no means a womanizer considering up until everything had been announced with Ellie he had a no-dating policy that applied to Vineheart. He was there to study and that was only going to prove to be a large distraction and truly none of the princesses had been of much interest to him since he did not tend to go for the girls that were high maintenance he wanted a relationship where he was actually able to relax in the other person’s presence and enjoy the time that was spent between them. He also preferred for his relationships to be kept more personal and secret than what was offered at Vineheart, the first sign of a relationship and that was all it took for the gossip blog to jump on board with the exaggerating and that would be all it took to ruin the ‘good boy’ reputation of his. He also knew that his mother was a firm believer in not arranging marriages for her children but when this scandal came up he even knew that he needed her help in this situation given that it to take the throne at eighteen it was a given that he was going to have to have a Queen to rule beside him to be taken seriously even though the majority of the population of Mexico were fans of his even in the light of the scandal that came out. He promised himself that he was going to make it up to his father by being the best ruler that he could, his father had taken the fall for him and still no one knew this and this was going to be the way that it was going to have to be or else things were going to get real complicated in a hurry. Yet another reason why the arranged marriage that he was a part of was going to have to be someone that was not a direct part of any Royal families. They would do digging and there was always the possibility that the real truth of the scandal could come out and that would doom him. If it ever did come out all he could hope was that he was already crowned and that he was ruling the country well because if that were to happen there was a high possibility that they may allow him the grace that was not given to his father. Though that had been different since the affiliation was during the time that his father was ruling and if it was proved to be Ric it would be judged that he was not King at the time and also a minor so who was to know what a difference that was going to make. The only person that was ever going to know the truth was going to be his future wife.

So far everything seemed to be going well, sure the two were still a little awkward around one another but that was to be expected since they were just starting to get to know one another and they were also caught up in something that took the both of them by surprise but he also knew that the Queen and King of Mexico were already treating her like she was a daughter that they never had so the warm reception of his family he hoped was going to make it easier. He knew that she was doing this because she thought it was the right thing to do and that her parents had encouraged her to but he was going to make sure that the girl was not going to regret it. He wanted to see to it that he was not just going to be a part of just another arranged marriage. She was going to be treated in the way that she deserved and he was going to see to it that he did everything in his power to make the transition easy. He had seen so many disasters in the form of an arranged marriage in his time at Vineheart where the participants spent so much time trying their hardest to fight their way out of it and while he did think that arranging someone’s marriage was a little archaic for the time and place that they were in he also knew that if they spent as much time trying to make it work as they did fighting and hating one another maybe they would actually realize that the other person was not that bad. He was already very appreciative of Ellie and the fact that she had agreed to do this so already he was very fond of the girl.

He was pleased when Bella agreed to meet him and knew that she would be the one to talk to about what he had on his mind. He did not even think twice about flying to Spain for the weekend given the fact that he had a few things that needed to be taken care of as well before he returned and he actually was quite anxious to get back to Mexico for the rest of the summer to carry out his plan as well as spend some more time with her figuring things out before they returned to school, as an engaged couple. Something that he was still getting used to hearing. He took a seat in the booth of the restaurant and spotted the girl when she approached and a small smile touched on his lips. Hey. Thank you so much for meeting me. He uttered gently before she then went on to ask if everything was alright and if Ellie was alright. She’s fine; a little overwhelmed and stressed making me wish I could do something about that but I guess its a lot to adjust to and I don't blame her. Her and Aubrey are still in Mexico but I had a few things that I needed to take care of here for the weekend so I have just flown here for a very brief trip. He finished telling her and knew that she was curious to know why he was here. I know I could have probably just texted you but I was here anyways. I need some ideas. I do not know Ellie all that well, even though I am trying my best but I want to do this all right. I am going to propose to her even though technically we are already engaged. I think it just means more and I wanted to get your input on it since you are her best friend. He paused for a moment to get her answer on the first part of the question.

Bella was unsure what she thought of this situation, she knew Ellie well enough to know that she would do anything for anyone she deemed needy. That was one of the sweetest things about her best friend, but it also was something people could use for their advantage. Not that Bella thought negatively about the queen of Mexico, after all she was Dante’s aunt and she had always seemed pleasant enough to Bella. But it was a weird situation, and one that would need more explanation. Obviously Alaric wasn’t in love with Ellie, just because the two barely knew each other. That was yet another thing that worried her, her best friend’s happiness. In Bella’s opinion Ellie needed to be able to love the person she would spend the rest of her life with, and the person needed to love her in return as Ellie loved him, if not more. That would be the only acceptable situation in Bella’s opinion. But the whole arranged marriage thing, no matter how you looked at it, it was complicated. In all reality Bella would just want assurance that Alaric would be nice to Ellie and that he would treat her with all the respect and kindness she deserved.

“It’s no problem at all. I’m pretty sure Dante’s tired of my babysitting him so he’ll be ecstatic I’m not there right now” she said.

She hated having to annoy Dante so much, but of course she had learned her lesson with the Queen and she needed to make sure he was fine. She was worried about him, but that was obviously thought for another time since she was still a bit curious as to why she was here. She took a seat, setting her bag down, turning her full attention to the prince of Mexico. She still had Ellie’s messages in her phone, alerting her of the fact she was now engaged and well Bella had been surprised. She hoped that this visit would make shed some light on what was going on, and that she could be of help to her best friend. After all she was sure that if the situation was ever reversed (the whole arranged marriage thing, not that she ever wanted to be in an arranged marriage), well she was pretty certain that Ellie would be doing the same thing she was. She brushed a curl from her face, suddenly missing her longer hair because it was easier to tie it back when it was longer. Alaric let her know that Aubrey and Ellie were still in Mexico and probably waiting for his return. He got to the point then, and things made a little more sense. He wanted to make this as normal a process as he could, something she found quite sweet given that he could have just accepted the fact he was going to marry her and then he could have ended up avoiding her until the wedding. Definitely a redeeming quality in Bella’s book, but she wondered just what kind of input he required from her. Sure, the two girls had often joked about their dream proposals but it wasn’t something that she was sure could be taken seriously.

“So given that you want my input, means that you either already have a proposal in mind, in which I’d serve as more of a way of eliminating ideas or perfecting them” she said, “Or you have no idea what you are going to do, and I’m here as a brainstormer. Either way I’m here to help.”

Ellie had been given the choice if she accepted the marriage or not she was not forced to make the decision that night like she had but simply informed that the Queen had already talked to her parents who deemed it to be a good idea. He knew that she felt like she needed to say yes but at the same time he had made sure that she knew that she did not HAVE to play under the Queens plans though by that time she seemed adamant that this was going to be something that she was involved with and if that was the way that she wanted it he was going to make the best of it. Already he was growing fond of her and wanted more than anything to make this all work. He cared about her and he was going to make sure that Ellie always knew that and that he appreciated it all. It would all take time but he was willing to put both the time and effort into this. While the two were not in love as of yet he knew that there was a high possibility once they got to know each other. This winter would be when their wedding would happen but that was not going to push her into anything that she was not comfortable with he looked forward to going back to school and getting this all sorted out and maybe even getting the opportunity to date her before the two were married. Even though it was technically arranged it was not going to work out in the way that all the arranged marriages seemed to in Vineheart the people involved in them seemed to spend more time fighting it than anything and he truly believed that if they put the same effort as the fighting into making it work perhaps they would even fall in love with the person but by the time it rolled around to either call them null or go ahead with it there were too many hurt feelings.

He nodded when she told him that Dante would be pleased that she was not there to baby sit him right now. How is he? He asked gently. Lately he had not been keeping all that close of tabs on his cousin seeing as he was dealing with his own drama and trying to make sure that everything was set for the next year since it was not going to be that much time before he was going to be married, graduated and once he turned eighteen crowned, so therefore there was a lot that was going to need to be planned. I was expecting to be able to visit him one more time before school started but I am going to be leaving right after a meeting later this afternoon as I would like to get back to Mexico as soon as possible. He did not want to be away from Ellie any longer than possible since this was a key time where they were going to be able to figure out what was going to be going on between them when they returned to school and he also had a plan where he was going to propose properly. She was hopefully going to be wearing the traditional Mexican Royal’s ring as well as one that was personally from Ric as it had seemed only suitable. He went on to state that he wanted to make this seem like a normal relationship and that he was going to propose and this seemed to be something that she did not mind the idea of. This caused him to smile lightly as he brought out the small box that had been kept in his pocket from the time that it had been purchased. She of course will be getting the ring that is passed down by the Royal family but I wanted her to have a ring that was from myself as well. He uttered and opened the box to show the white gold ring encrusted in a delicate form of diamonds along the band, he never did like the rings with just one big diamond so this one incorporated a bunch of smaller ones where they would glitter whenever the light touched it.

And I do have something in mind, there is a private beach just around the corner to the estate where a lot of people go scuba diving and I was thinking of taking her there and hiding the ring there for her to find then taking her out for dinner at the floating gardens. He uttered and waited for her to respond to see what she thought of the idea. I did not want to make too big of a show of it since she does not seem like the type that would enjoy that so it would just be a private thing at the beach.

The question about Dante was rather loaded just because of everything that was going on with him. Bella was sure that he was stressed because of the idea that come December he would be King of Spain. She was obviously going to be there to support him, but the fact that the queen had caught him smoking while she was on vacation didn’t help. She had been given the only duty to follow him around all day and make sure he stayed drug free but Bella knew that he probably ended up doing the drugs anyway. Given she was supposed to be stuck to him all day she couldn’t even really look for his stash if she wanted to. And she couldn’t follow him everywhere, because she was pretty sure he was high at some points. She hated that he went to the drugs when he was stressed, she knew he needed other outlets but it wasn’t something that you could easily bring up with anyone. And if she talked to his mother about it not only would it cause problems for herself, but for him and she knew that all he needed was to realize that drugs weren’t the answer. But she wasn’t sure if telling Alaric that would be a good idea, especially because he himself had his own problems to deal with.

“He’s Dante, so I guess that’s all that can really be said” she said, “He’s been better, but I’m hoping that he’ll be okay once school starts again”

She didn’t want to illustrate that she was worried he’d only get worse. She hadn’t shared this fear with anyone not even Xavier. She wasn’t sure what was keeping her from talking to anyone, it was probably because she had been with Dante all these years and she knew his progressions. Something big would have to happen for him to stop with it all, she just hoped it wasn’t something that would be bad. And she decided to not focus on that right now because she was here to talk to Alaric about Ellie. Her best friend. Whom she loved about as much as she loved Dante. She listened as he explained that she would get the ring that was given to the queens to be, which made sense because that was just how tradition mandated it to go. Something that Bella found cute yet weird all at once. Because she was pretty sure most girls would love their own engagement ring, and not have to think about how many other women had already worn it over the years. He took out a ring though, one that she found very pretty and she knew Ellie would like. It was pretty, yet it wasn’t completely ostentatious which was something Bella was sure Ellie wouldn’t like. After all even though they did get a pretty good amount of money working for royals, it didn’t meant that they liked things that just screamed” look at me look at me”.

“This is really pretty, something she would definitely like” she said, “Not too flashy which is good”

She listened as he explained his idea when it came to proposing and it was sweet. You could tell that he was truly trying to make an effort here which Bella appreciated because it showed that he did want to make Ellie happy. That was her only main concern about this whole ordeal, that her best friend would not be happy. Just as long as she was happy she didn’t care if she’d become the queen of heaven and earth, all that mattered to Bella was that Ellie would be well taken care of and happy and that she in no way or form would be hurt by anyone. It was also a pretty original idea, not many people would actually want to hide an engagement ring in a public place, just because of the danger that someone else might find it or it might get lost. Most people just went for the food or champagne idea which was romantic but sometimes wasn’t too good an idea either. She was pretty sure Ellie would love that as a proposal though, it was unique and sweet.

“It’s a really good idea, just as long as you make sure that no one visits the place between when you hide the ring and when she finds it” she said with a small laugh,“But if you already had an idea, why did you want to meet me? You seem to have thought it out very well”

He could not imagine placing himself in the position of the girl. It would be hard enough to serve a Royal without them being a pain in the ass as well. Even though he knew that Dante meant well most of the time, scratch that, some of the time, though the majority of time when Bella was involved it would still be hard to keep someone like him that was so prone to trouble out of trouble. Really there was nothing that she could do to stop him, he was a grown up or at least would be when he took over the throne later in the year. He cared deeply about his cousin and would do anything that was needed in order to make sure that everything was going to go smoothly when he became the King, there was nothing that was closer than family. He had felt a little out of the loop lately since he had been involved in getting everything set up to be married to Ellie so he had been out of contact with Dante for the most part since the Masquerade. Now that things were settling back down and they would be back at school soon he knew that he was going to be devoting more time to making sure that he was handling such a large announcement well. He suspected that his cousin would resort to other outlets in order to relieve the stress that was put on his shoulder though there was no solid proof of it since Dante was smart and would make sure that he tried his best to hide all the evidence. He nodded as she told him that he was Dante and he had been better and this was something that was understandable.
I feel bad. I have been a little out of touch this summer. That will all change when we get back to school though and remain in the same country. He uttered softly. He found that when the subject turned to Ellie he was smiling softly and even though she had officially said yes when she agreed to be married to him this was still something that made someone naturally nervous when they were going to ask someone to marry them. He pulled out the ring that he had been carrying in his pocket from the moment that he had picked it up before he had left Mexico. He had bought it from a store that he would always marvel at when he was younger since there were rings and diamonds all along the front and he would always love how they glittered in all different ways as the different lights of the store caught them. It seemed only suited to get it from a place that was reserved with good memories in his mind. He was pleased when she told him that it was pretty and something that Ellie was going to like since it was not too flashy. That was kind of what I was thinking, I wanted it to be something that she did not have a problem wearing on an everyday basis and some of the other rings I was looking at seemed as though they would be more of a hassle than anything. He uttered.

He then continued on to tell her about the ideas of the proposal and wanting her opinion on it all. He had already thought it out on the plane ride over and decided that there were going to be certain measures that would be taken on the day that he was planning this all out, he was going to make sure that they would have the area just for themselves and knew that was not going to be a problem and he would have to find a way to secure the actual ring to the reef since the last thing that he wanted to do was lose it. Yes that is very true, I would have to make sure that we were the only ones there but I don’t think that would be a problem. She then went on to ask him why he would ask her if he already had an idea and this caused him to shrug his shoulders a little. Because I want to make sure that it is something that she likes because it is really important to me. I want it to be something that we look back on in a few years as a fond memory I know that this is a less than ideal situation for her but I want to make sure that I do everything right. She deserves it. He told her truthfully with a soft smile. He already cared about the girl a lot and what he appreciated the most was the fact that she had even agreed to marry him so he was convinced that he was going to try his best to make her as happy as possible. And because it just seemed right to ask her best friends opinion as well as let you know my intentions. He was very polite and well-mannered and to him this was like asking for her father’s hand in marriage though he had already done that as well as he was ‘following the book’ in regards to everything that was possible. I do really appreciate you meeting me. Let me buy you lunch? He asked with a small smile.

She knew that most people wondered how on earth she managed to do her job, because most people had this misconception of Dante. Yes he was a hassle sometimes, but he was basically her hassle, she had been with him since they were children and well she knew how to handle him in a way. Obviously there were things she wished she could change about him, mostly his drug habits but no one was perfect in that aspect. The fact was she tried to help him and usually he was very receptive to it, but of course lately something had been off. Since she had come back from her vacation and she had been watching his every move she had noticed that at some points he seemed to get very easily irritated. She didn’t blame him, but part of what she did was because she cared about him and the other part was because it was what she had been instructed to do. Dante was her boss, but the queen was the ultimate person who decided if she kept her job or not. Not that she believed the queen would ever relieve her of her duties but it was always a possibility.

“Yes it’s quite hard to remain in contact with people when you are scattered all over the world” she said, “But I’m sure you guys will be fine once you go back to school, and everyone’s all under one roof again”

She knew that given the choice most girls would prefer something pretty and well not so ostentatious. At least that was the case for Ellie and of course her own as well. After all it had to be a pain to deal with a ring that was so attention grabbing that it just ended up causing too many problems. Either way Bella knew Ellie would be okay with that ring, and she’d probably wear it on a daily basis. Thinking about this she wondered how much Aubrey knew about this, after all she was pretty sure the Belgian princess wouldn’t be too keen on giving up her servant, just because she knew that no matter what Aubrey would most likely never find someone as patient and positive as Elise. In all honesty most of the school didn’t get along with the princess, so there was a small chance that when Ellie got married she’d be left without a servant and that would be when all hell would break loose. Of course this wasn’t something Bella was too worried about just because she was more or less focused on her best friend’s happiness. After all Bella’s friends were important people to her, and she’d basically hurt anyone who made them unhappy, it didn’t matter if they were royal or not. She had obviously conveyed this message enough that people were aware of it and just as long as Alaric only had good intentions everything would be fine.

“Does Aubrey know about this yet?” she asked, “I mean if she does, I can’t believe she made it easy because honestly Ellie might be kind of hard to replace”

He explained that he believed her opinion to be important and that definitely gave him brownie points in her book. Obviously she was still hesitant and a bit surprised because most queens would have offered up their daughters for this arrangement just for political reasons. Obviously she wasn’t going to ask why the queen of Mexico had chosen Ellie over some of the other princesses because she was sure that Ellie was just as good as any of them. Either way she brushed the thoughts aside, focusing on the fact that he was obviously trying to make this arrangement as easy and effortless as possible for Ellie which she appreciated. She looked at her watch before pursing her lips for a second, she knew she’d have to get back to the palace soon just because Dante had an appointment outside of the Palace and she’d have to go with him to make sure he stayed out of problems so she wouldn’t be able to stay longer than five more minutes.

“It’s a sweet offer, but I should probably get back to the palace” she said, “Dante has an appointment outside of the palace in less than an hour and I’m pretty sure the queen wants me to go with him”

She commented that she was sure that he and Dante would be back to normal when they returned to Vineheart and while he thought that it might be the case he also knew that a lot of things had changed this summer. He was always known for being a little more mature than a lot of people his age but now he was going to be forced to be even more so, he was going to have a wife by the end of the year and he was going to be King of Mexico by the end of the next year after that as soon as he turned eighteen so there was going to be a lot that was in store for him and this was making him nervous and this was also something that he needed to focus on; Mexico, Ellie and family were at the top of his priorities. He knew that he had to do well in his last year of school but it was not like he was going to get the opportunity to go to any post-secondary institution so while his grades were important he never had struggled with school and there were things that were a little more important than that. They were going to be the things that he focused on and when he returned to school his family while they were important they were also something that was always going to be there for him and he knew that, the main priority was Ellie. She was going to be his wife and he needed to make sure that her happiness came first and that the two of them were able to adjust to what was going to their life together and he was going to make sure to do everything in his power to make it as easy as possible. She was much more stressed than he was since he had been prepared all his life to be a King she had just found out this summer that she was going to be Queen of a country that she did not even know that well, the transition was going to be gradual though he was going to make sure of it and he was going to be there for her whenever she needed help, tutoring in Spanish, history lessons, he was the perfect one for all those jobs and perhaps that would be a way that they were going to be able to get closer and bond. The wedding was going to be something that she was going to have the most control over, his mother wanted the girls input on everything and really was excited to get to be a part of this. The Queen had raised her family with three boys, the two brothers and his father so she really liked the idea of having another girl around and wanted to do all the girl things with Ellie when the time came. She was a little overwhelming though but that was just because she really had taken a liking to Ellie so Ric had been sure to make her promise to give it a little time before she went overboard. She then asked if Aubrey knew about this all yet and he shook his head. Ellie did not want to tell her as of yet, I know that it is going to come up soon but it is her choice when she tells her and I have told her that if she wants me to speak to Aubrey than it is fine because I know her well. Aubrey’s mother knows though. He uttered. When he asked if he would be able to buy her lunch she told him that she needed to be getting back to the palace and he nodded. I understand. Next time though, I owe you. He said with a small smile before getting back to his feet. I best be getting back to the airport anyways I don’t want to miss my flight. I’ll see you when we all get back to school, thanks for meeting with me. He finished before getting back to his feet and waiting for her to do the same before walking in the direction of the door.
