Features Gabriella is a fairly athletic type, so her body is mostly muscle. She prides herself on being fit when lots of girls her age aren’t. Standing at 5t 7in, she’s a little taller than her twin, since no one can be completely identical. Her long legs are toned from the sports she plays, as is her stomach. Bri is a slim girl, but still has some curves to her, and as athletic as she looks.
Gabriella's warm brown eyes often reflect the innocence or humor she’s feeling at the moment. A willing grin is often found on her face when she’s with friends, and her long brown hair is always falling out of it’s ponytail. She has tried to do braids and other things with it, but it usually stays down loose or is temporarily tamed in a ponytail. Her skin is almost as tanned as her sister Vivien's, and stays pretty much that colour no matter what the season is. She's very conscious of her skin colour during the winter, and Bri has never purposely laid outside and tanned, unlike most of the girls her age.
While she does dress more modestly than other girls for her everyday appearance, this princess can dress with as much class as the next princess for more formal events. Jeans and t-shirt’s are her staple, so she’s going to have a tough time adjusting to the styles of the primadonna's that attend this new school. She definitely has the body to wear provocative clothing with ease, but she’s not comfortable enough to do so. You won't catch this girl running around half naked, that's for sure. Vivien is pretty much the only one who has a hope of getting this girl into any sort of dress.

Personality
Insecure* If there could only be one word to describe Gabriella, it would be insecure. Not only is she insecure about herself when it comes to boys since having the pregnancy scare, but she's also uncertain about her worth as a person. The whole arranged marriage situation is leading her to believe that she's no more than an object, and she'll keep believing that until someone shows her differently. Despite the fact that she and Prince Donato have been thrown together since childhood and have been friends ever since, she knows that he doesn't love her. Sadly, Gabriella is afraid this means she'll never love anyone.
Sensitive* Contrary to her family's belief that she doesn't care about anything or anyone but herself, in reality Gabriella is very upset over the fact that she's being used like livestock to bond two countries together. After all of the rules and regulations she and her sister had for the beginning of their lives, the only consolation she had about not being the one to rule England was that she would be able to choose who she wanted to marry. Even her little sister was allowed to choose who she wanted to marry for crying out loud! Despite seeming to be cold and uncaring to most, Gabriella is actually a very sensitive person. She feels useless and unimportant, something that is only emphasized by how her parents are pawning her off to marry someone without giving her a choice.
Independent* Having emotionally felt cut off by her parents on more than one occasion, Gabriella has learned how to take care of herself. Being so stubborn has it's advantages, and she's spent her time learning about all sorts of random things. When the pregnancy scare happened she read every teen pregnancy book she could get her hands on, but she often reads books on more normal things like do-it-yourself projects and learning how to cook. People would probably find it odd that this seemingly rebellious princess took self defence classes, but she has, so if the need ever arises she'll be able to kick butt without worry. Who needs a white knight when you can save yourself?
Lonely* With independence can sometimes come loneliness, and Gabriella feels very cut off from everyone. Despite all of the attention her parents used to give her, she has always felt second best because everyone compares her to Vivien. She and Vivien used to be really close, the stereotypical twins, but as they've drifted apart Bri feels like she has no one to talk to, that no one cares. Being forced to marry Donato of Spain by her parents only enforces this belief, and she has closed herself off from everyone she knows emotionally. Sure, she can carry on the standard shallow conversations easily, but she's afraid of opening up to anyone.
Shy* Despite how she may come across to people in social situations, Gabriella is actually a very shy person. She always keeps some of herself in reserve because it's been so long since she's had someone to confide in. It's uncomfortable for her when people start asking her more personal questions than the standard Hi, how are you? so when this happens she shuts down and will often simply say nothing. At parties it's not exactly as though she's having heart-to-hearts with people, right? Flattery doesn't help, in fact it seems to make her even less comfortable than she was before. The best way to get her to open up is to be friendly and honest because as much of a contradiction as being both shy and rebellious is, Gabriella certainly is both.
Rebellious* This is a girl who doesn't play by the normal set of rules. Gabriella walks to the beat of her own drum, be it with her attitude, what she chooses to wear or the music she listens to. This was probably caused by her need to be recognized as a separate individual to her twin and the fact that she craved a different kind of attention from her parents than what she was getting. There's a reason her favourite Disney princess is Jasmine. The rebellious streak they share is plainly obvious to anyone who knows Gabriella, and though she's toned it down quite a bit from the way she used to be, her problem with authority figures and rules persists.
Intelligent* Perhaps smarter than either her other sibs or her parents give her credit for, Gabriella has always been too busy trying to fill the gap Vivien left her with to try very hard in school. Now that she's getting a new beginning it's an all out competition in her mind to beat Vivien, simply to prove that she can. If it means she doesn't get to party or meet anyone all year, well then so be it. The look on her parents faces will be worth it. After lurking about the palace to listen in on some of Vivien's lessons she's been able to apply things she learned from eavesdropping to her current classes, surprising even herself with all she's managed to accomplish.

HistoryOn a chilly November morning, twin baby girls were born. Gabriella was the second born, mere moments after her twin sister Vivien. And it feels -to her at least- that she's spent the duration of her life so far in exactly the same position as she was when they were born; constantly in second place.
When the pair were little the girls were inseparable. Like the stereotypical twins they wore adorable matching outfits (which Bri hated) and finished each other's sentences (which Bri loved). Because the two were so close it meant that they didn't really have a huge need for their other siblings, and Gabriella didn't really pay much attention to them. She had no need of anyone else when she had Vivien, and her deluded young mind had decided that she and her twin would be together for their entire lives anyway. They were going to have matching castles side by side and wonderful princes to sweep them off their feet, and would live happily ever after.
Unfortunately Gabriella's life didn't turn out to be a fairytale, because the instant that Bri looked twice at a boy was the instant that the two began drifting apart. At first the younger twin wasn't sure what was happening and desperately tried to reconnect with her sister, but their parents had already intervened and stuck Vivien in how-to-be-a-queen classes full time. By the time they reached the middle of their teenage years the two of them barely spoke, barely even saw each other.
It was at this point that Gabriella began sneaking out of the castle. At first it had been from sheer boredom, a way to have something exciting happen in her life. An adventure, if you will. Then, as her popularity outside the castle grew, she was invited to more parties, was exposed to more alcohol, drugs and boys and used these as tools in a desperate attempt to get her parent's attention. This ended abruptly when Gabriella was ahem, late one month, and her mom found the pregnancy test. Well, actually it had been the servant her parents had ordered to go through her garbage, but the result was the same. Despite the fact that the test was negative after all, the consequences were of a severe nature. Total lock down for several months and the boy had abruptly told her she'd meant nothing, that she'd been nothing but a game, a bet to see if he could bed one of the princesses. Hurt beyond what she'd thought possible, Gabriella lost all faith in boys, swearing that she wouldn't let any of them get close to her for a long, long time. She'd been forced the hard way to learn that what she'd thought had been love had really just been an abusive relationship and she didn't have a clue what love really was after all. And, on top of everything else, even all of this didn't get her any time with Vivien.
She finally was released fromhousecastle arrest after she'd had some time to think about what she'd done and what she wanted to do. What her siblings don't know is that, after having her change of heart, when Vivien was busy in lessons and her other sibs were doing goodness knows what, Gabriella actually spent some time using the servant's quarters. Not to sneak out, though they were certainly useful for that too. No, more often than not she was sitting in the small passageways next to the room where Vivien was studying. Thus, she has learned much of the same things Vivien has while still retaining her bad girl image. It took a very long time for her parents to forgive her "transgressions" and even longer for them to allow her even the smallest freedom.
Sure, it may seem as though Gabriella's still a party girl -hey, everyone loves a party every now and then- but the truth is that she's changed a lot. Turns out thinking you're pregnant can do a lot to reform a girl, so she's been fairly well behaved since the incident. It got her her parent's attention, but it wasn't how she was hoping to get it. Being engaged to the Prince of Spain is something that she has become determined to do. From now on Gabriella is going to be a good girl (somewhat) and do what she's been told (sometimes). As she's unaware of how her sister feels this twin is determined to go through with the arrangement and do her duty for her country in an effort to make up for all the trouble she's caused. Maybe then her parents will finally be proud of her.
This past school year Gabriella made a few friends but was mostly absorbed by her school work. All of her studying paid off and she's got the marks to rival Vivien now. As such she's been told by her parents to take a couple of extra mini-classes that will help her in her duties once she's Queen of Spain. For the most part she hasn't really been avoiding Prince Donato, however the girl hasn't exactly gone out of her way to hang around him either. After talking to the barman at the Ice Box she's more curious as to why Vivien was hanging out with Donato and didn't tell her than worrying that something is going on. In other words, despite an odd feeling in her gut she's almost completely clueless. How long will this last? No one knows. But we're pretty sure they're lying when they say ignorance is bliss.
