Wida hated disturbing teachers when they were quite possibly busy. The odds might be that Mr Winthrop had gone home, as so many did when their classes had finished. School had ended two hours ago and Wida had been finishing up some marking. Frank had been told to walk over to Vineheart once he was finished at school which he did so obediently. He was currently sat in Wida's huge armchair while Wida put all her papers in folders and stapled everything as neatly as she could. The presentation of her office had been faltering since the beginning of term but Wida liked it. It gave her warmth to know that she'd been mothering enough to forget about things like office cleanliness. Amelia and the twins were at home with their Aunt, Frank always personally chose to stay with his mother. Wida tried not to think about it but it often leaked through her mind that she was making the house unbearable with child tantrums and crying babies. She hoped Brynlee and Signe didn't mind her imposition too much. Brynlee seemed to find Amelia charming though, so that had to be a good sign. Not to mention the twins treated her like some kind of alternative mother when Wida wasn't around. The person that fed them, sent them to bed etc. So Wida wasn't going to keep Mr Winthrop long, if he were in at all. She only wished to wish him luck for the next school year ahead. It felt like a long time since she'd engaged in socialization with another teacher. She avoided the Principal like the plague. Knocking kindly and lightly on the door of Mr Winthrop's office, Wida called out to him. "Are you in? It's Wida." she called, with folders tucked in her arms and her son waiting patiently in her own office. Her hair was wavy and hanging past her neck. She was wearing a white blouse with a black cardigan over it and a straight black skirt with no curves. She sighed, she would just to talk to him tomorrow instead. It seemed he wasn't inside.
