cause there will be no sunlight, if I lose you baby, there’ll be no clear skies, if I lose you b a b y,
She had found that at the end of the last year she had been missing Russia and wanting to go back as soon as possible though what she had not expected was that when she was in Russia for the summer she had been missing Vineheart and being around Montana even though she had not been there for too long and the year was almost finished by the time she had arrived to start serving Matvei. It was almost becoming a home away from home and she found that she had missed Russia a lot less than she had tricked herself into thinking. With Matvei away so much visiting Branna and their rocky relationship that seemed to always be on one of its ups and down so much that she did not even know what was going on at a certain time and it was not like she ever wanted to bring it up seeing as she did not want to tempt bad feelings, it was her job to served Matvei and make his life as easy as possible not to push into his personal life and damper his mood, and she took her job very seriously. It had been nice to see Agim at the time of the wedding in Serbia since she had been there but other than that she had missed him very much, the two kept in contact with texts but it was not the same as being around the boy that she had grown quite fond of. He had stolen her attention when she had come to Vineheart and her mind seemed to not linger too far from him anymore. When she thought of how close she had come to pushing him away that tended to scare her and if he had been any less of a person she knew that he would not have allowed her the second chance after she had ran when he kissed her. This was not something that she even wanted to think about since everything seemed to change for the better in the picnic that the two of them had before they had both left for their respective countries. While she still did not know what to call the two of them she had faith in knowing that the feelings between them was mutual.
When she arrived back in the airport she could not help that her steps towards the baggage carousel seemed to increase in pace and she anxiously stood in the area waiting for her bags to come down and they seemed to be at the very end which she would have guessed would have happened only because she was already anticipating getting to see Agim again since the two of them had discussed that they would meet up when she arrived before he would show her his cooking skills. After finally collecting her bags she was met by a driver at the door and she passed through to get into the car for the short drive back to Vineheart. She immediately walked to the dorm room that she shared with the two boys wanting to get a little more settled in before she met with him and have a shower since it had been a long plane ride and she was feeling a little stiff. Feeling refreshed she stepped out of the shower, it was still mild since the weather in Montana was not like Russia and did not switch all that quickly so she chose to wear a white with a small green patterned sundress that proved to be very comfortable and plus she did rely on this meeting between the two of them to be flawless after all she had not seen him for the better part of two months. She spent a little time in the bathroom blow-drying her hair until it fell in loose waves along her shoulders and putting on a light amount of makeup. Butterflies flitted around her stomach as she stepped off to walk down the stairs and in the direction of the common room, she was a few minutes early so she took a seat in one of the comfortable chairs in the corner.

cause without you I’m, a disaster ------------------------------------------------------------------- Agim had spent his summer in Albania, with Ari, of course. She had not gone out of the country much – there had been Dante’s masquerade ball, but Agim had stayed behind to spend some time with his family. His sisters had missed him more than they could bare – the weekly phone calls and emails just hadn’t cut it when he had been away in Montana for the school year and although his parents wouldn’t admit it, they hadn’t thought it was enough either. Their family had always been close, and Agim was seen as both the protector and the baby. He was the middle child, but the only boy. Ari and he had begun ice skating in the mornings, generally very early. They practiced everyday when they could. He loved the bonding time they could spend together. It had been an unexpected, but very nice, surprise to run into Dasia at Nada and Theo’s wedding in Serbia over the summer break. His mind had wandered to the Russian servant quite a bit over the summer, often wondering how she was doing, what she was up to. They had exchanged texts all summer long, and he had missed her – quite a bit actually. His feelings had started developing rather quickly for her, and he had found the time spent away from her had been quite torturous. He couldn’t believe he had almost ruined their whole friendship by kissing her on the first day they met. He just couldn’t help himself – something about her drew him to her and he felt something stir deep within him every time he saw her. Even though they had been separated for most of the summer, he knew he still had feelings for her. He had waiting on school to start back so he could get back to Montana, where he knew she would be, and where they could finally be spending time together again like they had at the end of the last school year. The plane ride from Albania had been uneventful, much like his summer. As they had landed at the airport, he had gone off to collect his bags, as well as Ari’s, before he headed out to meet the car that would carry him from the airport to Vineheart. Settling into the backseat, he sighed softly. He’d agreed to cook dinner for Dasia tonight, and he was very excited. First things first upon arriving though were a shower and getting most of his things settled. The car arrived at Vineheart and Agim stepped out, taking as many bags as he could before returning for the rest. He got Ari’s things taken care of then walked into his adjoining room and began unpacking. He didn’t have as much as Ari, but it still seemed to take forever to unpack it all. Once finished, he hopped in the shower. Getting out about twenty minutes later, he pulled on a green polo shirt and a pair of jeans. It was mere moments before he was supposed to meet Dasia, so he hurried to the common room quickly. As he laid his eyes on her, his heart stopped momentarily and he had to breathe deeply to keep from passing out. Coming up to her, he smiled. ”You look amazing.” He said breathlessly, as he stood in front of her.

cause there will be no sunlight, if I lose you baby, there’ll be no clear skies, if I lose you b a b y,
She was a lot like the Albanian servant in the way that neither of them seemed to be travelling this summer which was something that she was not too sure if she liked or disliked since it was such a hassle to pack everything up for only a few days and bounce from country to country though if that had been in Matvei’s wishes that would be what was done, there were times where he did not need her and she was left to enjoy Russia and her mothers company which had been nice since she had missed the older woman so much and found that she wanted desperately to tell her mother just what Vineheart was like and even got to the point where she mentioned Agim. Her mother seemed pleased that her daughter seemed to have interest in a boy and she had even heard mention of him when in association with Ariana around the palace so it was nice to know that it seemed that her mother had agreed on her interest being a good one. This only made her more excited about returning and getting back settled into the dorm room there, so far she was going to be the only one for a little while as Matvei was not set to return or even leave until later in the day and she would have the time to get everything unpacked and the room looked just the way that it was supposed to. I had been nice that they had been able to keep in contact with the texts that were sent back and forth between them but at the same time it was simply not enough. She wanted to be back in Montana and it was like *poof* the wish was granted as Matvei had told her that she was going to be on the next plane back in the morning and it was a good coincidence that this was also the day that Agim was set to return. Since she had landed she had not allowed herself to get distracted since she had things that needed to be done that came before her needs to see him and she set herself to work, if anything this was causing her to work faster and she was done unpacking with plenty of time to get ready.
She had chosen the dress that her mother had bought her over the summer as the two had shared a rare but well earned girls day out in the mall of the Russian streets and her mother had seen this dress out of the corner of her eye and convinced her daughter to try it on and even Dasia who did not tend to wear dresses unless she needed to had to admit that she loved the way that it fit and the vibrant green pattern against the light white fabric. Her mother had bought it for her and told her that she was supposed to wear it for the dinner that Dasia had told her mother that Agim was cooking for her on the day that they got back to Vineheart. She was dressed and ready in no more than 20 minutes seeing as she was not one of those high maintenance girls that took forever to get ready since she knew that this would be something that Matvei and now his new room mate Francisco would probably tease her about, she did not know much about the Prince of Portugal besides the fact that he seemed to be well liked so she was not too sure how she was going to fit into this equation but it would all get figured out with time. She was able to hear his steps down the hallway before she even looked up and she could not help but grin as she got to her feet taking a couple steps towards it. Had they not talked a little last night she would have felt a little more awkward but now there was not a single hesitation as she threw her arms around his neck. It’s so nice to finally see you again. She uttered gently before pulling back to look up at him, a small blush forming on her cheeks seeing as she had been a lot more forward than she was used to, but this would only take him for her to get used it and time to transition back into getting used to being around him again since she had seemed to gain confidence in the last week that they spent time together before the summer.

cause without you I’m, a disaster ------------------------------------------------------------------- Ari hardly ever needed him if she traveled for only a short amount of time. He was more of her bodyguard than her servant anyway and when she did travel for only like a weekend, she only ever took one bag and it was usually deemed not necessary that he join her. Agim shared everything with his family, and the mention of Dasia was no exception. His mother had been pleased and shocked that her son was showing interest in a girl; it was just unusual because all he had never really shown a lot of particular interest in getting a girlfriend, let alone dating. His father had been very interested in details about the Russian servant, details that he happily provided, at least as much as he was sure of. His sisters, of course, wanted to meet the girl right away, and he had made a mental note to ask Dasia if she could get a weekend off later on in the semester to travel back home to Albania with him so she could meet his family. Ariana had been told at the last moment she’d be arriving later in the week by the Queen, so Agim gladly went on ahead without her. He would, of course, meet her at the airport upon her arrival, but until then, he would gladly get her room set up as well as spend some much needed quality time with Dasia. He had missed her, that much was undeniable, and the texts had been a good means of keeping in touch, but it hadn’t been enough. She had occupied so much of his mind throughout the summer that he was surprised he had even been able to focus, let alone get everything done that needed to be done while getting ready to return to Vineheart. The outfit he had chosen had been picked rather quickly. The shirt was one of his favorites, he loved the color green. He wasn’t one to have a lot of clothes, so the ones he tended to have were ones he stuck with until he literally outgrew them, which didn’t happen to often. He worked out a lot, and ice skated, but he maintained virtually the same physique all the time. He was with the same girls as last year – the Spanish and Hungarian princesses – and Kata, the Hungarian servant. He’d always found it interesting how their two situations were flip flopped and they were the opposite sex of the royals they served, not that he minded being surrounded by beautiful women all day. He actually rather enjoyed it, and of course he looked out for Julianna and Izzy like they were his royals – he had that kind of personality. But he only had eyes for the Russian servant. She was the only one who even captured his attention in the way that she did. Seeing her stand and take a couple steps toward him made his heart soar. He gladly took her in his arms and smiled. ”No my dear, the pleasure is all mine.” He said softly, bringing his lips to her forehead and kissing her softly, letting his lips linger there a little longer than he probably should. He grinned widely. ”I missed you.”

cause there will be no sunlight, if I lose you baby, there’ll be no clear skies, if I lose you b a b y,
This year was going to be a little different than the portion she had attended last year, first of all Matvei had a new room mate and while she had only even talked with him once online he seemed nice she was still not too sure what to think of him. Matvei had always treated her amazingly but there were some servants out there, particularily Clara’s that were treated like they were a piece of dirt that the princess found on the floor. He was just a room mate though and knew that it was not going to matter quite as much as the Russian prince but still she could not help but feel nervous since she was not so great at social interaction on the best of days since she tended to be so shy. Something that her parents had always tried to ‘cure’ her of. This had been something that she remembered with a shutter, they enrolled her in things such as public speaking where she would have to stand up in front of an entire group of people and attempt to stammer out a speech where she was sure that with the jagged manner she spoke she was sure that no one even understood anyways. Her face almost flushed at even just the mere thought of that and she felt a little queasy. Those were not the good memories and shortly after that had been when her father had left her mother and then it did not seem as important as the girl was allowed to just carry on her way through highschool as the shy and very quiet girl. That did not matter to her though since that had been the time where she had begun to get interested in soccer and had convinced Matvei to teacher and all of a sudden all the girls from the soccer team that she was involved in starting to take an interest and started to include her even though she found that this was a little awkward for her. Her real life though had always been at the Russian palace since this was where her mother worked and where she had grown up.
Even though she had been mentally preparing herself for the time that she was going to get to see Agi again this did not change the way that her breath seemed to catch in the back of her throat, forgetting completely about the desperate need of oxygen that came as a robotic action most of the other time. The smile he wore on his face caused goose bumps to rise on her forearms and chills to run along her spine, she was sure that her cheeks were already slightly red almost positive that he would be able to hear her heart pumping at an erratic way as it thudded in her chest. After a month of not seeing him since Nada’s wedding the immunity of getting to see him all the time had worn up and she was once again reduced to the babbling idiot that he had first met. The feeling of him wrapping his arms around her was not comparable to anything else that she could describe as the close proximity caused her to allow herself to relax and breath out a quiet and contented sigh. The warmth of his words causing her smile to only broaden as she glanced up at him eyes being allowed to meet his. He kissed her forehead gently and uttered that he had missed her. I missed you too. She told him gently. It was nice that they were really the only ones around since people did not tend to return until the last minute.

cause without you I’m, a disaster ------------------------------------------------------------------- Luckily, there were no new roommates for Agim to deal with. He had a feeling it would always be Julianna, Izzy, and Ari- not that he minded. Each girl was an up and coming protégé in the Queens of Vineheart clique, so he was constantly surrounded by drama. He tried to keep himself from it, but sometimes it was too good to resist – even the most tempting gossip could succumb to the wrong ear. He felt very fortunate to have a good relationship not only with the royal he served, but also her family and friends. He got along remarkably well with Ari’s older brother – they often played sports together and he even tried to get him into new things sometimes. He’d always been exceptionally outgoing, which partly explained why he had warmed up to Dasia so quickly. He could tell the Russian servant was shy, but that was not something he minded. He actually found it quite adorable on her. He had never known another place than Albania, nor another home than the palace. He had been playing with Ari since they were babies and he had always been around her and her family, as well as his own. He hadn’t gotten much social interaction with the “commoners” as they were often referred to because he had gone to school on the palace grounds with other children that were not royal descent but were being raised by others employed by the royal family. He’d made plenty of friends in this manner and had never needed to venture out and find a place in the outside world – he was perfectly content with the life he was leading. Every time he looked at her, he was more and more enthralled with the sight of her. She was intoxicating, every bit of her. He couldn’t help but smile whenever she was around; she made his heart do flip flops. Taking her hand, he pulled her over to the couch. Sitting down, he let her sit comfortably before he wrapped one arm around her, pulling her close to him. He hadn’t figured out exactly what he was going to cook for her just yet, he had wanted her input on the matter. ”So, I have a ton of ingredients but I wanted to know what you were in the mood for before I began to think about cooking.” He said to her, taking his free hand and letting his fingers brush through her hair. He loved the feel of her being so close to him – all of these emotions he couldn’t contain nor explain that she made him feel.

cause there will be no sunlight, if I lose you baby, there’ll be no clear skies, if I lose you b a b y,
She had always been quite nervous around all the girls that Agim was around since they were the ones that were going to be taking over the Queens and all were very influential and she felt unworthy to even be around them and never was that going to be something that changed since that was simply her personality. She loved the low key room that she was a part of both Francisco and Matvei were easy going and easy to please. So when she found out that they tended to like her baking it seemed like something extra that she could do for them even though she was sure that their girlfriends would not like the fact that they might gain 50 pounds in the next year. She almost chuckled when thinking about that though she knew that it would look weird seeing as she was sitting there with Agim and it did not take long for her full attention to be cast back on him with a bright smile along with the blush that usually touched on her cheeks seeing as the nerves that she usually had about being around someone only intensified when she was around the person that she had feelings for. She hoped that this feeling did not change, she would like it better if she did not tend to blush quite as much around him but at the same time she knew that she would rather choose that then have the feelings diminish between them. He already was an important part of her life and she did not want to think about not having him around her. She had been lost in her thoughts when he pulled her down onto the couch with him and it surprised her a little but she recovered well and a brow was raised slightly as she watched him. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders which caused her to move closer to him with a contented sigh allowing her cheek to rest against his chest gently as his hands found their way through her hair and she found this to be a very soothing gesture. I don’t know I am not picky. Anything is good, what do you enjoy making? She asked him gently. But, if I allow myself to sit down with you for too long I am not going to want to get back up and that is not a good thing since I am hungry. She said with a small smile. She jumped up from her spot on the couch walking with him towards the kitchens that were present in the common room which would prove to be useful tonight. No one was around which was also nice because she really did not want to have to share the company with anyone else. She busied herself helping get everything ready not too sure how much he was actually going to allow her to help or if it was something that he was adamant to do himself.

cause without you I’m, a disaster ------------------------------------------------------------------- At times, he had to admit, the girls were quite a handful. Julianna had her own servant, a girl who was a year ahead of them by the name of Kata. The girl was very sweet and her and Julianna seemed to be really close, which seeing as how he and Ari were close, he loved seeing other royals and servants share the same relationship that he and his princess had. Then again, some of them weren’t around their royals their whole lives either, like Dasia with Matvei. She had been around him some, but hadn’t literally grown up together, like he had with Ari. All of these feelings were new to him; he’d never before quite held emotions for someone in the capacity that he was for Dasia. He knew he made her blush, quite a bit actually, but he just took it to mean that she was just as comfortable around him as he was around her. She had done her fair share of making him blush as well. He was amazed at how quickly she had formed her way into his life and just molded there, like she’d been there all along and like it was where she belonged. Hearing her question, he mulled it over in his mind and kissed her forehead gently before answering. ”I’m not picky either. I’m more accustomed to foreign food at this point. I don’t really have much of a taste for the American food.” He said rather disgustingly. It wasn’t that he didn’t like it, okay, he really didn’t, but growing up in a foreign country (well, to the Americans foreign) he had been raised on making native dishes, the ones he’d grown up eating, not ones just introduced three years ago. Laughing, he stood up, following her into the kitchen. ”I am rather hungry myself. Plane ride just didn’t give me enough food.” He said with a smile. He ate a lot, all of the time, but with his athleticism, his metabolism stayed high because he was so active. He could eat and eat and eat and you would never be able to tell. He let her amble around the kitchen, pulling out various dishes and utensils before he began grabbing ingredients from the refrigerator and cabinets. ”Do you like Chinese food?” He asked her curiously.

cause there will be no sunlight, if I lose you baby, there’ll be no clear skies, if I lose you b a b y,
She was excited for this year, she had only arrived at Vineheart for the very last portion of the last year so she had not even been a part of the classes she had only come to make sure that Matvei and Cris were not going to get themselves into any more trouble that year but strangely enough he had been well mannered and never set a foot wrong in the time that she had been there. She did not mind that it made her job a lot easier and looked good to his parents but at the same time she did not like taking credit for making the difference when there was no difference to be made, after all she knew why it was, it was because of his girlfriend, things had turned serious with Branna and he strove to spend every waking moment with her so therefore he did not have time to get in trouble and do the other things that would normally get him into the principal’s office. It was nice to know that he had matured though and that she was not going to have to do damage control every time that she turned her back though it was not like she would not even hesitate at it, this was what she had been raised for even though it had not seemed to be on the agenda at first since her mother had wanted to keep her around the Russian Palace for as long as possible they could not deny their roots and the opportunity that this was going to provide. Her mother had simply been afraid that she was not mature enough to be sent away with Matvei and too shy but she had proved her wrong being as things seemed to go over smoothly and she had adjusted well enough to think of Vineheart as her second home already. She had always thought that school where she would need to be away from her family would be the biggest nightmare since she had been so close to her mother her entire life but it turned out to be the quite opposite, she was growing up, starting to develop her own life, in which Matvei was the main and highest priority, always. She hoped that he knew that and she also hoped that he knew that he could ask her for anything.
Her attention was drawn back to Agim though and a small grin settled on her lips as she met his gaze sitting there with him on the couch and even managed to ignore the fact that she could feel her cheeks getting slightly red as seemed to happen a lot when she was around him but there was no use in trying to hide it since it was such an often occurrence and simply due to her being quite shy even around him. He told her that he was not picky either though he had not really become accustomed to the American food and she nodded lightly. Me either. She uttered gently, after all she had lived in Russia all her life if was a large change to be in America where not only the food but the culture was so different. She stood then and walked in the direction of the kitchen where she turned when he commented that he was hungry as well and that the plane ride did not give him enough food and she laughed lightly at the comment. He asked her if she liked Chinese food and she nodded. Yes I do. She stated with a small smile. As she reached for one of the last pots she found that she had backed up until she almost bumped into him and this caused goose bumps to rise on her forearms at the close proximity before moving away a little.
