Rock my world into the sunlight
The fall day was cool, quite cold when put into comparison with the heat she was used to courtesy of Brazil's climate. Today she kept warm as well as found an outlet for her energy by stopping at the local gym and burning energy for an hour.It was Saturday and she had nothing planned as really the beginning of the year had been very bland so far and extremely boring in her opinion. Generally outside of class there was something going on but as of yet, this was not true for now as she failed to find anything that had even managed to capture her interest It was killing her slowly really as she needed something. Both dance and tumbling practices had started but it was obvious that no one was really excited about coming back to school, who in their right mind would be? It was the school part of Vineheart that she did not care for as she liked getting a break from home although she still preferred Brazil over Montana but there was a definite bias there. She just had never quite adjusted to the state but she did like the bit of rescue and reprieve it gave her from home, which could tend to be hectic as most royals knew. Of course she knew it was all necessary for preparation to rule and accepted it, however she did not like to be demanded to do things, especially by those who were of lower social order than herself. In Lita's eyes, this was practically degrading. Since when were servants to order royals to straighten their poise or something like that? They had no idea what was going on so why should they start ordering her around like they did? Utterly ridiculous. If it wasn't for the blue blood running through her veins, they most likely would not have been getting paid or be so well cared for. What a pity it would be if something were to come up.[/size]
Soft sigh was exhaled in the quiet atmosphere before lifting the paper coffee cup to her lips. The vanilla chai tea tasted fantastic but that was expected otherwise she would not have returned to the cafe on multiple occasions as she had the habit of doing so. Then again, there did not seem to be too many places like this in the area either so she did not have many options. Brown eyes flickered about the room, searching for a familiar face or something of interest to catch her eye. Summer in Brazil had been relaxing in Lita's perspective, other than the events she had to attend with her family at their own orders. Other than that she had enjoyed the season, taking in the warm weather and beaches as she pleased and quite often. While her summer may not have been quite as eventful as she wanted, although it definitely was not near as dull as her return to Vineheart had been thus far. Everyone was basically walking around as though they were zombies but she could feel their pain as she had not looked forward to starting the school year again either. Yet one had to do what they had to do as she could not rule as a queen without the art of knowledge. Plus it was not as though she was an idiot in anyway, she just could care less for the silly little things they had to do as homework. Hadn't teachers heard the whole 'You can't fix stupid" spiel? And students were already wasting an hour in their class, why not teach there and leave it at that, move on the next day? As though she had nothing better to do than to solve math problems that already had answers figured out. She knew how to calculate percentages and find sales tax, which was actually used in the real world. She knew she needed to learn more of course but only was willing to learn what was necessary. Seriously, when was she going to need to graph a linear program? She was the heir to a country, not planning on attending college in order to become some geeky mathematician. Seriously, who did that? There were nerds for that, which she definitely was far from. Educated yes, but not a nerd.
Had she honestly resulted to thinking about her views on math homework?Thinking of school was irritating her, as she was sitting there and feeling bored as hell and probably looking desperate. That word was the last thing Lita would ever be. She absolutely hated desperate people, well except for those who she could understand why they were the way they were. Like people in poverty, not like people who were so desperate they became whores or something. She personally had standards and most people did not manage to even fit into those descriptions. This she had decided in order to avoid wasting as little of her precious time as possible since she only had a certain amount of time before she would be taking up the throne in the future. She was going to be freaking queen one day and she was going to rock it, no doubt about that. Smile crossed lips at this thought, taking another drink of the tea and sitting back quite comfortably after doing so.The year had only begun and may seem bleak for now but surely it could only get better from here.
Make this dream the best I've ever known...
