****************************************************
University was not all it was cracked up to be, at least not yet but she knew that it could change within the first week and who knows perhaps the next week it would be perfect. The same lectures were given over and over again and she was sick and tired of hearing the professors talk about what they were expecting from their students it was as if they thought that the more that they knocked in into their heads the more it would happen and the bigger percentage might actually happen to remember the words of these speeches. Though that was lost since all the people that probably were going to need them the most either texted through the whole thing which she was guilty of or slept. She knew that this was not going to be a problem for her though since her grade had always been impeccable, she had been aiming to get in at Dartmouth with her brother after all! Things change though and priorities tend to change and it was simply not practical for her to go to the prestigious school, not when this would be the last time that she was going to get to see her friends and live with them in the time that she was going to be attending university along with Frida and Marie there was also Frankie who was still in Vineheart and she used the excuse of keeping an eye on Max and Luna to stay close to the school not to mention the fact that there was an amazing dance program that was held in the university that she knew that she had to be a part of. After all between horseback riding and dancing those were her two passions. She hoped that when the next chapter of her life and whatever was going to go along with it that she was not going to have to give these things up. Casey was a term that was non-negotiable though, she was not going to go anywhere where she could bring her horse.
Dance practice was cancelled which had been less than ideal since she had been looking forward to going all afternoon but when she had texted Frankie he had informed her that his evening was free as well. This would give them some quality time to spend together since she had not seen him since she graduated. She had meant to visit him over the summer but somehow did not get to it after everything happening with the founders’ parade and the arranged marriage which luckily had been caught and finished long before it even started. She had then been off to Bulgaria and joined Sergej for a week before then headed off to visit her cousin in Austria and then onto France before coming here a week early to get everything set up in the townhouse they were living in. So far it was a blast and she was enjoying every minute of being that close with the other four even if she was getting far too little sleep and she was feeling a little deprived. This weekend was going to the weekend of the party that Marie was planning and she was a little hesitant about it knowing that they were the only ones that were going to be affected if it turned bad in a hurry. She knew that between Beau and Ziggy as bodyguards that was not going to happen though. She had also invited Max and Sergej was going to be coming and tonight she was planning on asking Frankie if he was going to be coming though she could not imagine him saying no.
No one was home when she made her way into the townhouse, they were all on different schedules so this did not surprise her as she walked to her room once again glancing at the pink and glittery sign that had been hung on her door, Beau had not been kidding that he was going to do it and she found it rather amusing. She would have to think of a way to get back at him that was going to be well worth the risk. She changed into a pair of shorts since Montana was still mild out at this time of the year and a t-shirt after all she already had plans on what was going to be perfect for this late afternoon, after all he was a soccer player and she had too much energy from not being able to go to dance class so why not challenge him to a one on one match even though they both knew who was going to come out victorious. That did not mean that she was going to play nice though seeing as she had brothers.
Stepping out of the townhouse she made sure to lock the door behind her and walked in the direction of the car that was parked on the driveway in its traditional spot the silver Audi A6 had been approved by her parents since an Audi was a German car and she was pleased since the car turned out to be wonderful. She had always thought that last year she would have left it for Luna or Max in Montana but here she was back again. Tucked under her arm was a soccer ball that had not been hard to find and she knew that she would use again since she did tend to like soccer just not as much as she liked the other things that tended to keep her busy. Setting out to the park she knew this to be the best destination since there was a large clearing that was used for the same thing and she was not quite ready to set foot at Vineheart yet again and the park was a two minute walk from Vineheart. She parked the car in the parking lot and dropped the ball to the ground when she stepped out of the driver’s side. Kicking it lightly it travelled up the curb to land lightly in the grass as she locked the car watching as the headlights flashed before kicking the ball with her on her way onto the field.

Vineheart was…well..the same good ole way Cisco was used to seeing it. He had already talked to his new roommate, Matvei, a bit. So it seemed all there was left to do was walk around, maybe find a good route that would get him to each class on time (because, unfortunately , some of his classes were on opposite ends of the school grounds). He had not seen any of his friends from Vineheart over the summer, which disappointed him a bit. But that ended when he had received a text from his best friend, Pirzi. Pirzi was Cisco’s “best friend that is a girl” if you put it in the most understandable terms. He remembered last year how he sometimes got asked if he and Pirzi were dating, because they appeared to be so close. He simply said no and that Pirzi was just a good buddy to be around. Which was the truth. Cisco had not seen Pirzi since the day she graduated from Vineheart, and now she was at the University of Montana. He had wanted to go and visit her, or the other way around, but plans just got in the way.
Pirzi had texted him to ask if he was doing anything tonight and if he was up to soccer game, where he could kick her ass in it. He had laughed after reading that part, she was pretty much admitting her defeat before they had even started! But did he expect her to give up and not try? No. That was not Pirzi at all. He knew very well that Pirzi had brothers and she got picked on by them, but that would not make him play nice either. He was going to play how he always did, defensively. Though in an actual game, the only ball time he usually got was when he was attempting to stop it from going into his team’s goal. He was looking forward to this year’s soccer season, and he had already claimed his spot once again as goalkeeper, which he was absolutely excited about.
His journey to Vineheart was longer, and more irritating, than he had expected. He had had a late start as well. After flying for who knows how many hours from Lisbon, Portugal to New York City, New York, he was met with an unexpected layover in the airport. Leaving him stuck in the NYC for a couple hours. After his layover he hopped on the next plane which touched down in Madison, Wisconsin and finally hopped on his last plane to Helena, Montana. His last flight was most unpleasant, despite being in First Class on the plane it was bombarded with business men and women who were constantly typing on their laptops ortalking on their cellphones. And from there he rode to Vineheart in a car.
He had arrived late last night and after a good decent sleep that lasted till mid morning, he was ready to go. It was just past lunch and he was unpacking when Cisco had recieved Pirzi's text. He agreed to it because he had not seen her in forever and was dying to talk to one of his best friends and he was almost bored beyond repair.
Cisco was just about to pull intot he parking lot when he caught sight of P, a grin spread across his face. Parking his Porsche Cayenne Turbo he got out and closed his car door. He half-ran to catch up to her. "Pirzi Duval where have you been all summer!?" he called, teasing. He smiled and gave her a big hug. He looked down at the soccer ball, "Ready for me to kick your ass in soccer?" he asked, teasing again. He was normally not so animated around people, but Pirzi was an exception, because she brought the good out in everyone in Cisco's opinion. "How have you been?" he asked.

In the German family hot headedness and stubbornness seemed to be a trait that they all had but there was something a little different about the eldest girl of the family. She was known to be laid back and sometimes in some cases when her morals were not involved a push over. This is why she had gained the title of the mediator in the family. She got along the best with their mother, Queen Tarti was a handful and that was in nice terms but Pirzi had been the one that was always able to get through to her, except recently when she had taken it onto herself to arrange a marriage that neither Pirzi or her brother wanted for her and she should have had a clue about it not working since when she had done the same for her younger brother Max it ended in the same way in a tension between the family and the arranged marriage being abolished before it even existed. Sometimes you needed to just learn from past mistakes but the Queen was far too stubborn for that. She thought it might work with the girl since Pirzi did appear to be a push over. Though when she got fired up as the Queen now new the same Scandinavian roots that caused her to look nothing like the rest of the family seemed to flare up. She had stood up to her mother in a way that she had never done before and it felt good. She owed this all to Sergej who had been her silent support in this since he had been the one that she had been talking to the day before about it. She also knew that there was a tiny part of her that was far too curious about what could be between her and the Bulgarian prince that caused her to fight even harder outside her comfort zone. The worst part about this whole announcement was the fact that she had no warning about it, her mother could not even give her a heads up the night before and that was why she had been so adamant about it not happening that was not fair because it was like the Queen knew what the response between her and X was going to be. She felt that if she did not give them warning than it was more likely that they were going to be too shocked to fight her and get it all fixed before it had been too late. But the Queen had slipped up about month before it had all happened when she had been back in Montana watching Pirzi’s last performance which Sergej was her partner. The four of them had gone out for lunch after and she stated that while Sergej was invited to the founders parade that Pirzi was going to be too busy with a large announcement to spend much time with him.
Pirzi while she had been in school had always been close with quite a few people seeing as she tended to be a very good listener as well as easy to get along with not like the girls that were a part of the Queens. Frankie had always been quite close with her but in the last year the two had grown even closer which was something that she enjoyed since she tended to find guys easier to get along with, with the exception of her two best friends Marie and Frida who did not have the catty demeanors of the other princesses. She had been upset and felt like a crappy friend since she did not get to see him over the summer but the two did stay in contact when she was able to so therefore he was not completely out of the loop of what was going on in her life and it was the same, she felt pretty caught up on what was going on with him.
She was excited to be going out and playing soccer with him since she knew that it was one of the sports that he was involved with and she tended to like it even though she was not the best at it, she might actually be able to hold her own though if he was just not simply quite good. She had been busy kicking the ball in front of her so she did not even notice that he had already arrived and was running in her direction before the words caused her to swing around and jump slightly eyes going wide but within a split second she was over the shock and smiled as she hugged him. Where haven’t I been would be the better question. Though Portugal was not on the list. She said with a small laugh. He then asked if she was ready and she smirked. You seem so sure, typical boy. She uttered with a challenging smirk holding the ball up. I have been good getting used to a dance partner who makes Xavier look like a midget, it’s a little intimidating. X had always been the tallest in Vineheart standing at 6’5 and the genes ran in the German family since her brother was tall as well as she was 5’10 which was considered tall for a girl. She did not tend to like that when she wore heels she would sometimes reach 6’0. I have decided we should play without rules. She uttered. She moved to take off her sweater which would indicate on goal and a large branch that indicated the other before returning and holding the ball up. Ready? She asked him.

For the Portuguese royals, it was not hotheadedness and stubbornness was not their trait at all. It was competitiveness, and that came right down to everything. Which was partially the reason while a more of an internal and private feud was going between Cisco and his immediate family. It seemed as if all the children were either competing for some form of their father’s approval. For it seemed that Cisco’s eldest younger brother was receiving the most approval. And this lead to Cisco keeping distance from his father and brother, hoping to avoid any unwanted arguments with them. He kept the distance reasonable though, he did not completely bow out of things with his family just to avoid his brother and father. He still attended events that were expected out of him. And the whole reason for this is that in Cisco, his mothers, his sister, and youngest brother have all noticed that King Hilario believes that his second eldest son is more fit to rule. This son was much more outgoing and social than Cisco was.. Though sometimes through all the madness, Cisco wished to give up his crown and hand it off to his second-in-line brother. But he did not, for he wanted to prove to himself and to his father and brother that he could easily fit as the Portuguese king. He was quite grateful to his youngest siblings and his mother, who supported him through it. And he was grateful for Pirzi, who helped him take his mind off the whole situation.
Being a close friend to Pirzi was one of the best things that had happened to Cisco. Unlike some boy-girl non-dating relationships, there was nothing awkward between them. He did not feel like he had to date her- even for just a short while –because they were close friends. He had other friends aside from her, too. Such as Matvei and Dasia, whom he only knew because of them being roommates. But they weren’t as close to him as he was with Pirzi.
“That would be true as well.” He said, laughing with her. “Oh, but I am so sure. This is a great little practice run for me before the big season starts up, and for a chance to show off my skills.” He said, laughing. “Really? You would think you would be the intimidating one, Princess.” He said, teasing once again. “No rules? Are you sure that is a good idea?” he asked. He wasn’t afraid to play with no rules, but he was a little concerned what ideas would P come up with since she was not limited to anything in this game. He let out a small laugh at the thought of it. He watched Pirzi set up the goals. And while doing this, he was doing his best to think up some strategic ways to maneuver the ball around her. And since there were no rules, he could do some rules that would be quite illegal in a normal, rule filled game of soccer. “Of course I’m ready. But are you ready, Princess?” he said, using the word “princess” to tease her.

There were certain things that she was very competitive about as well and knew that it was also something that ran in her family. Xavier tended to be very competitive, though Max definitely not as much. She had her moments where she seemed to be a balance between the two of them. Max was much more and tended to be able to stay almost under the radar, well until it came out last year in the gossip blog about him and one of their teachers. At the time it happened she had not been overly close with him so she had not even asked him if it had been true, it was during the time that he had been sick and back in Germany and she did not think that he needed anymore added stress even though she was almost positive that even from Germany he would have known that it had been revealed. What she had not expected was when they went for coffee this year that he would confirm the that gossip blog was right and had been telling the truth all along and his involvement with the teacher ended in the youngest Princess of Germany that she was the only member of the family to know about. He had promised her that she was going to get to meet Amelia soon, she had seen pictures and the small child looked absolutely adorable. While she was a little nervous around children not wanting to drop them or anything since the only experience she had was with her younger sister when she was born and even though she was only four years old she did try her best to do all she could to help. She had told Max that she hoped that one day the two of them would tell Xavier together knowing that she could diffuse any of the situation before it happened and she also informed him that she wanted to be there when he went to tell Anselm and Tarti since she did not have a problem standing up to her mother anymore and if it meant that it was going to be for Max she would not even hesitate. She loved both of her brothers and her younger sister.
As for being competitive there were times and places that this came out in the girl such as when she was dancing, she had always been the co-captain of the dance team at Vineheart and she tended to take that very seriously and every performance that she had done over the years had been something that she was very proud of. Especially her last one at the end of the year with Sergej. That had been how she had met him. She had been just about ready to perform for the end of the year and it meant so much that her parents were coming to watch her and X graduate and staying for the performance so this was even more important than it usually was. At the last minute her dance partner fell down the stairs, how this happened when you were supposed to be a graceful dancer she did not know but this sent her into a panic. She needed to find someone to work with and the headmaster had been adamant that he would be able to help her out. She still remembered distinctly setting a time in the early morning that she tended to practice and the Bulgarian prince to walk through the door, while she had seen him in the hallways before since he was the infamous Mira’s brother she had never spoken to him and it seemed that the two of them hit it off. Though they did spend a lot of time skirting around how they were feeling since she had a lot going on at that time of the year considering all the blasts about her kissing Theo and Matias had just come out in the gossip blog, so after the performance was when they shared their first kiss and the summer just seemed to continue on from there, with the pair growing even closer, yet they still had not really talked about what they were which did not prove to be much of a problem for her since she was not the type to try to make him jealous and why not just let things play out and see what happens from there? The purpose of friends was to be able to help through tough times, she knew that Frankie did not feel suited for the throne some days and also knew that she was the only one to know that but she personally did not think that was true. He might be a little more shy than the Royals at Vineheart but there was something to be said for the Kings that were soft spoken and just, her father in her eyes tended to fall under that category since while he COULD be fiery for the most part he was laid back, where she seemed to have gotten her personality from in comparison to their mother who was a little more high maintenance.
As they took their spots in front of one another and her holding the ball she grinned when he asked her if she was sure that she wanted to play with no rules and she nodded lightly. When she dropped the ball she knew it was going to take him by surprise since he was probably not expecting it and it was going to give her the upper hand, he might have the better skill set when it came to soccer but she was not going to give it all up to him that easily. She could win this game even it was through the sneaky maneuvers that were now running through her mind with a small smirk that was placed on her face. She did not worry about playing with him and no rules considering the two were close and it was never going to get too competitive that one of them would get hurt. She was able to get the ball out a little ahead of him but knew it would only be a matter of moments before he would be over taking her.

As for gossip, rumors and scandals, Cisco did not have much patience for them and did his absolute best to avoid any unwanted attention. He enjoyed staying out of the lime light and preferred it to stay that way. He liked how he was not bombarded by paparazzi every second of every living day. Unlike some nobles who can not even walk the door with out this happening, whether they knew someone snapped a picture or not. He knew his parents liked avoiding unwanted a attention as well, but the difference was that the Portuguese nobles were almost never talked about in the public media outside of Portugal, most of their media attention stayed within their own country. And he knew that they sometimes wanted more attention. But they weren’t stupid enough to do anything rash that would bring the attention. Another thing in his family was there was not any huge secrets him and his siblings were keeping from each other or from their parents. And he was sure that his parents were not hiding anything from him and his siblings either. As for children, Francisco particularly enjoyed them. Even though he was still quite young when his brothers and sister were born, he could not help but fawn over them. Though he was not expected to really take care of them like the average family household would, he watched intently from afar, observing everything his parents and nannies did with the babes. He knew one day he would not mind being a father of a few children, but he did not want an immense family in size like some families did. His competitiveness has not led to anything remarkable really other than a spot on the soccer team at Vineheart as goalkeeper. Though what amused his father had- despite the aversion towards each other-had promised to come to the championship game, that is , if Vineheart made it to the championships. As for his mother, he had no word of. But planned to talk to her and see if she would come to a game, championship or not. He knew it was a long shot, his parents rarely ventured out of Portugal other than for political or business reasons, despite their wish to lead a more public life…Cisco had not found anyone particularly special in his life along the lines of dating. Pirzi was the only girl he was close to and they were not even love interests. He knew P’s friends Marie and Frida, but Cisco mostly hung around with them only when he was with Pirzi. And then he had his roommate, Matvei of Russia, who was pretty much his best guy friend at the moment. Then there was Ana, his older sister, who was particularly interesting. Cisco was glad there would be no hard feelings between them, no matter who won this little soccer match. He did not anticipate how far or hard Pirzi had kicked the ball, but snapped out of it quickly, realizing his was losing his chance to overtake the game. He quickly caught up to the ball and was able to maneuver it a good distance away from Pirzi before he made his first big kick and was quite pleased with the result as he ran after it. He allowed himself to look behind and see if Pirzi was coming after the ball as well and flashed a smile in her direction.

The German royals while they were a little more well known around the world had never had too many problems either, sure there were there instances where she knew that there were a few pictures taken but never in a manner that she felt like her own security was compromised like some of the ones that were involved in the biggest scandals. Up until this year she had not even ever travelled with someone, now she would have Ziggy around her a lot more but it was not because she needed someone it was because her mother wanted to try her best to keep her eye on her eldest daughter without having to admit that she was wrong about the whole situation. That did not matter though since Ziggy was proving to be very trustworthy and while she did not completely trust him yet since that was going to take time she knew that he had not been reporting to her mother since she had gotten even more calls from her mother lately. Montana seemed to be a place that was seen as safe for the entire Royal population and it was a haven in which no one was able to penetrate there was no paparazzi here and they were generally allowed to live their regular lives as if they were not going to be ruling countries, well some of them at least, she hoped that she would never see the day that she would ever step up to the German throne since that would mean that something would have happened to both of her brothers and she loved them too much and the thought made her sick to her stomach. She would always do her best to protect the ones that she loved and there was no one that she loved more than her family and her friends, she would do anything for them.
One of the reasons that she felt like she got along so well with Frankie was the fact that his family was a lot like her own, they were tight knit, they did not like the spotlight and worked on being a united front. They seemed to have the same beliefs that you created a strong forefront and did not allow others to see what was happening behind the scenes even though in both of their cases neither of the families had all the secrets as some of the others. She could not imagine being in either the Bulgarian of Serbian families to find out that Nada was a sibling to Sergej and Mira even though she had been raised by the Serbian Queen, it seemed to be a touchy subject and she knew that she could ask Sergej about it but she did not want to bring it up, though she was rather confused as to how it had even happened. That had been all over the gossip blog last year and she could not help but feel terrible for them since it had been in the midst of an accident that had left Mira and Nada in the hospital so the entire thing turned out to be one huge lump of drama. It had been the same sort of situation with her dance, her parents had not even really come to any of the competitions until the one just before her graduation and she could not help but think that this was only because her and her brother were graduated, though it was not the same as a regular family she knew, they were busy seeing as they were ruling a whole country and they were far away so she did not hold this against them.
When the match started she was completely focused on the game as she was taking it very seriously and her mind was on the ball as she watched him seem to be a little slow to respond to where she had kicked it which caused an amused smile to cross her face, perhaps there would be a hope in her winning or at least losing by less if he was not completely on his game today and his mind was elsewhere. He kicked the ball and unfortunately it whizzed by her and though the small area that was her own goal and eyes narrowed in a playful glare. With a new determination she took the head start she had over him to kick the ball along with her on the way to his own goal knowing that he was a goalkeeper but as they said there was no rules and she was not going to kick it into the goal, he would just catch it, her intentions being to just dribble the ball right between the goal.
