She felt even though she had been back to Vineheart for about a week that she had not gotten the chance to even see her best friend who she was also living with, it was strange to her since the two usually had hung out a lot more in previous years though she knew that this small distance between the two of them had just been caused by either of them being so busy. She had dance practices, cross country runs, and soccer practices and that took up a lot of the time in her spare afternoons when she would have come back to the dorm for some quality girl time, she needed to make sure that she made time though since she did not want to be left out of the loop in the way of Branna’s life since her friend was very important to her seeing as she was one of her only friends in all of the school. Quorra was really too shy to make more even though she got along with almost everyone. So basically all she had been involved with since she had been back was getting settled into the new year and the new classes that she was a part of as well as the new teams that she had changed since the year before. Before she had only been in dance and soccer and now she was also going to be on the running team since it only seemed natural since she tended to run a lot in the morning anyways and there was a lot of running that was involved in soccer. On the last day that she had completely free she had gotten a call from Igor the night before and she went from having no plans other than a day to relax and allow herself off to being stuck in a classroom pouring over books that she did not understand really did not hold a lot of meaning to the princess of Chile since it was not going to be something that she needed when she was ruling Chile. But, it was something that Igor had asked her if she would be involved in and she was not about to tell him no since he was also a close friend. She was extremely loyal to the people that she loved and therefore meant that she would do anything in her power to please them even if it tended to inconvenience her. This her mother tended to call being a push over though she denied that vehemently even though deep in her heart she knew that it was true and that she was a pushover, yet another reason for her mother to think that she was not suited to be the Queen of Chile.
This morning like almost every other morning she had sprung from bed feeling awake and ready to start the day, it was just before seven o clock and that to her was really sleeping in. After a small run that led her around the lake she changed into a pair of clothes she had brought in a backpack since she did not want to wake Branna when she left knowing that Sunday was usually a day that people chose to sleep in and she did not want to hinder that if that’s what her best friend chose to do. After changing the backpack was left in her gym locker in the change room and she made her way to the cafeteria to indulge in the breakfast that they were serving. After sitting there for another hour she felt like it would be a safe time to return to the dorm room and not disturb her. Upon stepping into the dorm she could not help but smile that she had been right and the girl was already up. I feel like I have not seen you in forever. She uttered softly with a small smile. Do you have any plans today? She asked taking a seat on the couch that was in the middle of their room and looking back towards her.

Branna had been back for a little more than a week, though she was sad to say that she had not seen her best friend outside of their dorm. Even then, one of them had been asleep. Her return to Vineheart had not been as quiet as last year. Of course, the year before, she didn't have a boyfriend, and she had joined chorus again and was working up the nerve to actually sing in front of people again. Quorra, Aisling, Reena, Dario, and Matvei were about the only people who have heard Branna sing within the last few years, though of course since she had avoided Matvei for two years before they dated so he only heard her after they got back together. Branna also got to see Quorra at cross country practice, but usually right after one of them had to run to one of their other activities. Branna had also joined the dance team with Quorra, but of course it was the same situation with cross country, one or both of them had to practically run to another practice. Usually her nights were spent making sure her siblings were okay, and trying to get Reena to talk about everything that happened since last year.
As it had been for many years, Branna never slept well at night. Sometimes she didn't even sleep before classes. Since it was Sunday, it was one of the days that Branna tended to take advantage of being able to sleep in, though she usually woke up around nine no matter what time she went to sleep. Ocassionally she could sleep until noon or longer. When Branna woke up around her usual wake up time of nine, she looked around to see that her best friend Quorra wasn't there. Getting out of bed and just throwing her emerald green silk sheets and cover over her bed. Deciding not to change out of Matvei's shirt and wresteling shorts she had stolen over the summer, Branna grabbed her laptop from the coffee table and laid on her bed wondering if Quorra would be back anytime soon. She missed her best friend and wanted to make the most of their free day. She could spend time with Matvei if Quorra had plans, but she really did want to spend the day with her best friend. She saw Matvei some of the summer, though regretfully they had spent most of that summer fighting. She hadn't gotten to see Quorra at all during the summer, which she felt bad about. She didn't want to be the girl who left all her friends for her boyfriend, she hadn't been able to break free of her unwanted drama over the summer so it had been out of the question to go to Chile or have Quorra go to Ireland when she was in the middle of a fight with her boyfriend.
Suddenly hearing the door open, Branna looked up to see Quorra walking in the room. Smiling happily, Branna waved at her best friend and laughed. "Quorra! I know, it's been horrible. We're even in some of the same clubs and sports, which just makes it sad that we haven't been able to get away from each other." Branna sad almost sadly. "No I don't, I hope you don't either because as much as I love Matvei, I want to spend the day with my best friend." She said giggling and closed her laptop. Getting up off her spot on the couch and sitting on the opposite end of Quorra, Branna curled her feet under her and ran her hand through her raven hair. "Gosh, I feel so horrible. I feel like a horrible friend, I should say. I never wanted to become that girl who practically ignores her friends for her boyfriend. I mean, I haven't intentionally and I hope you know that, but everything that happened over the summer just kind of started to cool down right before Nada and Theo got married so me and Mat are right back to the mode where we were last year when we got back together." She explained, feeling overly guilty.

It was strange really to not see Branna around but at the same time she knew that they both were back and getting used to being ‘in the swing’ of things with the new school year so it was really to be expected and she did not take it personally since she was simply as busy as the other girl but she knew that neither of them were intentionally avoiding the other, at least not to her own knowledge. She had not seen her over the summer since summer in Chile had been even busier than she was usually used to. Today though she planned on going out of her way to make sure that the two of them were officially reunited since she missed the Irish princess in fact really more than anyone else in the school. The two had been close and quite similar from day one and had always gotten along so well, she was one of the only people that Quorra really trusted. It was true that they were able to at least see that each other existed in things like dance and cross country but both of them took the activities very seriously meaning that they were focused on the task at hand and then usually it was off to either work on homework or a project, perhaps study for a test or onto the next activity after the previous one had finished for the day there was no time to stand around and talk. Quorra tended to keep herself very busy, might as well get used to having her life be busy now rather than waiting until she was Queen, it would be one less thing that she would have to get used to, at least that was the way that she was looking at it. So after she had finished her run for the morning and she was on her way back to the dorm she really hoped that she had not taken too long at breakfast, hoping that Branna was still going to be there when she got back. The grin that crossed her face when she opened the door to reveal her sitting there on her laptop was genuine.
She agreed with her that it had been too long since the two had been able to have some time together where they were not pressured by time constraints and where both of them were awake. She commented that she did not have plans which was yet another relief as she had not known what she was going to do for the day if she had had plans and she had been hoping that she would be able to do something with her best friend. Good. No I don’t. I need a day off, this week had just been so hectic. She was not sitting on the couch for very long before Branna closed her laptop and walked in her direction taking a seat beside her and she turned on the couch with her knees pulled close to her so that she was able to face her as she talked. Brow raised slightly when she commented that she felt like a horrible friend. You are not a horrible friend. She uttered gently then listening to the rest of the argument of why she had felt that way. I have been busy as well so it’s not like it was just you, I understand, you don’t need to worry about that. She said with a small chuckle. Placing her feet back on the ground she threw her arms around her best friend in a brief hug. You never have to apologize to me. She continued before getting back to her feet. So did you have anything in mind for today? She did have some ideas, knowing that there was a new movie coming out in theatres that she would not mind seeing but also knowing that she would not mind relaxing and even heading down to the common rooms where there was a large screen tv to watch a movie there or if she wanted to go for lunch or really anything because Quorra did not tend to be picky as long as it meant that they would have time to catch up.

It was no secret that Branna and Quorra were best friends; they were so alike and different at the same time that they just had to be close. Branna had been protective of Quorra since day one, their bond only got stronger once Branna and Matvei broke up for the first time and Branna’s servant and best friend had to leave her behind to take care of his family. Branna had always tried to be the strong one, but of course once her heart was broken there were many days that Quorra was the one holding Branna while she cried or became too depressed to take her regular meals or even sleep. Not that Branna purposely did those things to herself, she just got to lost in thought to remember and only came out of her stupor once Quorra reminded Branna to eat or to lay down and try to sleep, though the Irish princess had never had a normal sleeping schedule she did have to try and sleep even just a few hours during the school days. Branna trusted Quorra most, especially after the break up with Matvei when Branna had been hurt the most. Quorra had been the only one Branna had told the whole story too until later on in her third year when Branna finally told her younger sister the better part of the story. Quorra had been the first person Branna told about how Matvei had finally tried to talk to her again and after she agreed to meet him, Branna told Quorra what happened in the garden, and then the date she and Matvei went on where they started dating again. Branna loved Quorra as another sister, and seeing as both would one day be Queens, Branna knew that if Quorra ever needed her help, Ireland and Branna would be there for Chile and Quorra. Under Branna’s bed, there was a rather large scrap book the two had made over the past four years of their friendship, holding all the happy times, the sad, the funny, and the downright heart breaking. Branna planned on having another made so she and Quorra could both have one for when Quorra graduated at the end of the year and so the two would always remember that no matter how far apart they were, they were still best friends and only a phone call and/or plane ride away.
Letting out a sigh of relief she had not known she had been holding, Branna giggled and jokingly wiped fake sweat off her brow. “Thank God. I love Mattie, but I know we both need time to ourselves with other people occasionally.” She said with another giggle and slight blush at the thought of her boyfriend. Quorra had gotten several e-mails and phone calls over the summer when Branna and Matvei had had their little spat, of course Branna had been too embarrassed and hadn’t wanted to impose upon Quorra, so she opted to go to Mexico instead of Chile to hide out and give Matvei the time he wanted, and she also needed. Branna watched her friend while explaining why Branna felt like such a horrible friend. She didn’t even answer Quorra’s first statement until she had finished talking and let Quorra speak. “I still feel like one, you know me though, I’m always worried about something or other. Can’t seem to get out of that habit, I know it annoys people sometimes, especially Mattie and Ais.” She said with a mixture of a sigh and a laugh. Smiling as Quorra wrapped her in a hug; Branna giggled and wrapped her own arms around her friend. “Believe me, even if I don’t have to I probably will.” The two let go of each other and Branna took to looking at Quorra again with a happy smile. Matvei was her boyfriend and she loved him, but Quorra would probably always be Branna’s biggest rock. Quorra had been the only person to see Branna cry those two years that she and Matvei had been broken up, Quorra had been the only one to see her dance, sing, and paint during those two years also. Quorra was Branna’s most trusted friend, and Branna knew she would never find another friend that she trusted as much as Quorra.
“I’m up for anything, as long as we leave here and stay away from the river bend. I have so much to tell you! I totally forgot to tell you what happened!” She said while smacking her head. She had been so angry and annoyed with what happened that she had actually forgotten to tell Quorra what had happened. “So I was supposed to meet Mattie, just for like an hour or two at the most, at the river bend just for a nice little date before he went out with his friends. Well I just about get there and I get pushed into the damn river by one of the Polish princess’! I was beyond pissed, you wouldn’t believe it! She even had the nerve to tell Tristan that Reena didn’t care about him and she completely destroyed my brother’s confidence… not that he had much in that situation but still! Reena doesn’t even know this girl and she acted like she knew Reena better than anyone!” She said, now once again almost seething at the thought of Aniela. “Better yet, she is friends with Matvei! He completely brushed me off though when I told him what happened! I mean, I know that she’s his friend and he’s not going to want to take sides or anything, but he seriously told me that she probably hadn’t meant to when I know she completely did!” Finally done with her story, and slightly sad as she remembered her boyfriend hadn’t defended her (though keeping in mind she probably would have done the same thing) Branna just didn’t know what to do. She really, really, hated Aniela, but she wasn’t about to tell Matvei who he could hang out with and who he couldn’t because she would never let him do that to her. “I think we need a thorough girl’s day out, in fact, I think I’m going to let my cell phone here so we won’t be interrupted. Mat’s just going to have to deal with it, though if he’s with Aniela he probably won’t care.” She knew she was being over dramatic but she was not happy about the entire situation with Aniela. She’d let him be with his friend, but she wasn’t going to talk to him or be a “nuisance” while he hanging out with Aniela.

She had always been told that the people that tended to be the closest were the people tat had enough similiarities that they would have the same group of friends while they were different enough that they would have something varying to talk about and that was the exact way that these two seemed to be. While they did most of the same sports and were on the same teams and had the same morals about school they were from different parts of the world making their heritage a bit different and the way that they were brought up slightly different as well as the fact that they were thinking of studying things that were very different when they were finished school she was always the one that Quorra thought to be smarter, she did not seem to have to work quite as hard as she did for all the answers and for that she was a little jealous though Quorra did just that, she worked hard in order to keep her marks high and impeccable so when the time came when she was graduated and finished school her parents could not use the excuse that her marks were not good enough for her to be accepted into the school of her choice to call her back to Chile to take on what she was eventually going to be doing anyway, taking the throne of Chile and ruling the group of people that she loved so much. Chile would always be her home no matter where she ended up living, she loved Vineheart and the atmosphere even if she was a little terrified of the girls that called themselves the Queens and tended to avoid them at all costs she loved just the thought of boarding school since it was something that a lot of children only dreamt of and she was lucky enough to have it as a reality.
While she tended to be the shyest person out of any situation there were times where she would be the strong one such as when Branna had been so depressed about Matvei, when her friends were in trouble she was always the one that they would be able to turn to no matter what! She prided herself in this knowing that it always would make the situation slightly better to know that someone was on your side. She grinned when Branna commented that she was glad that she was going to get to spend some time with her even though she loved Mattie, there was no question in her mind what Branna felt about the Russian prince and she was happy for them even if she was not too sure if she trusted the Russian prince as of yet after seeing how hurt Branna had been it was only natural for her best friend to question it , though Branna would never know of this and there would come a time where she hoped that he would prove her suspicions wrong and be back in her good books. She laughed lightly with her and rolled her eyes when she stated that she still felt like a crappy friend and really it was something that never even managed to cross Quorra’s mind she knew that both of them had been very busy and it was not like they had not kept in contact over the summer through emails and texts after all Quorra did not feel like she could go too long without talking to her even if it was just about the weather in Chile or something else that she deemed silly and just an excuse to communicate with her best friend. She stated that she was up for anything which was a nice relief she knew that she did want to get the chance to go out and see the newest movie that was in theaters and then go to dinner and catch up after that she already had it all set out in her mind since she was always the type of person that worked well off plans. How about a movie then dinner after? She asked before her attention was then put back on Branna as she stated that she had something to tell her and her interest was peaked and full attention was placed on her with a small smile. What?! I knew that she was crazy but I did not know she was that crazy?! What did Matvei say about it? She commented on this before she finished with it and her best part of the statement answered it when she told her that he had just brushed it off and brows rose in question and slight alarm about it, there was no way that that was right. He was supposed to be the one to protect her. He is supposed to be the one that protects you, the one that’s always on your side. She uttered and there was a small flare of anger towards the Russian prince that seemed to flare up. That sounds like a good idea I am going to do the same. She uttered and left her phone up on the desk with a small smile.

Branna thoroughly enjoyed going to boarding school, especially in America, but she did miss Ireland quiet a bit over the school year. She missed the green hills and old castles, the little farms and towns that surrounded her home, and all her people, but she knew that her going to boarding school in a different country was something that most kids didn't get to do. Sure, being a royal had a bit do to with the fact that she had such an amazing oppertunity, but Branna thought that even if she hadn't been royal she would have had the smarts to get a scholarship to at least get into a boarding school in either Ireland or England if she had really wanted too, which seeing as she wanted to strive to do her best and get into a good college, she would have wanted too. Branna had always been fascinated with the medical field, she even planned on one day being a neurosurgeon one day, though with her being first in line that dream seemed to be a bit extreme, seeing as she needed the four years of undergrad, then four years of med school, one year of interning, seven years of residency, and then two years of fellowship. Meaning she'd have eight years of school and then still wouldn't be a neurosurgeon for another ten years. Her father was thinking of making her Queen at twenty five, so her dream was slowly starting to seem as just a dream. Maybe she could be a nurse or a lawyer, but she still had wanted to be a neurosurgeon almost as much as she wanted to be Queen.
One of the many reasons Branna loved having Quorra as a best friend, would be that Quorra always listened to Branna and just seemed to be able to understand her better than anyone else. Quorra tended to understand Branna better than Matvei and Aisling sometimes which really showed how much Branna trusted Quorra. During her two year break with Matvei, Branna had pushed everyone away, everyone except Quorra. No one had trusted Matvei at first when Branna and him had started dating again, Aisling had been the first to forgive him, but Branna honestly didn't know if Quorra trusted him or not, she was nice enough when he was around, but Branna had never actually remembered to ask her friend what she honestly thought of Matvei after everything that happened, especially when Quorra was the one who was with Branna when she cried at night, or forgot to eat, or was just too depressed to really do anything. Quorra was Branna's life support during those two years, also Branna hated to look weak so she cried alone or with Quorra and put on a strong face for her siblings and family. She never let them know that she was crying inside, but of course they did realize that she had changed, she stopped painting in front of people, she stopped singing and dancing for people, and over all became more of a recluse than ever. Quorra had actually been the only person who saw her do any of those during those two years, which hopefully let Quorra know that Branna trusted her more than anyone.
"Sounds great!" She said with a smile and turned her phone off for good measure and threw it on her bed, not caring if it landed on the bed or not. Yes, she tended to pout when angered. "See! I'm not the only one who thinks she's crazy!" Branna couldn't help but be angry with her boyfriend, but only a tiny bit because she knew if Quorra (who never would do anything like that) had done something like that Branna would have probably done the same thing Matvei did. "Yeah, well, I can't be too angry because I know I'd do the same thing if you or one of my friends did that to him... but I can't honestly think of one person I'm friends with who would do that, other than Reena but she'd only do it as a joke on him, not to actually hurt him and embarrass him." Smiling, happy that her girl's day with Quorra would be phone free, and silently happy at the fact that no one would be able to get ahold of them, and if anyone had wanted to get ahold of her, they could sweat a little bit. Branna hardly went anywhere without her phone unless she was trying to avoid someone, and she wasn't really avoiding Matvei, but she was angry with him. She just wanted to keep her full attention on her best friend and not her boyfriend. "So any good movies that you want to see? I just need to shower, change, and do my hair and makeup." Branna didn't really know what movies were out so she hoped that Quorra had an idea of what they could watch.

While Quorra found that she missed Chile quite a lot since she had been raised there Montana was a nice change of pace and getting away from her family and her mother who seemed to have such his standards for her eldest daughter was a nice touch, she felt like she was never going to be good enough in her mother eyes no matter what she did and she really did not have any idea how to change that. But that was a somber thought that could be thrown to the back of her mind for a day that she was not feeling so good, right now she did not have to worry about that and she was not going to waste her time thinking things that were going to get her in a bad mood she was pleased to see her best friend and there was nothing that was going to change that, she was not going to allow anything to rain on that mood. It was going to be a great way to start off the school week, they were now through the first week that was geared towards getting settled into the new classes even though they were seniors and they had been at Vineheart for the last four years previously so therefore it was not really needed but she did appreciate that they were trying to make the transition back into school and regular classes gradual given that it was hard to adjust going from no work all summer back to three or four classes a day, she was not like the other seniors that from what she could see had elected to only take the classes that were needed and left themselves with a lot of extra blocks off, she had filled most of her schedule but she was not planning on being too busy since she was nice enough to leave her one Friday afternoon class off meaning that she was going to get off a bit early and be able to get a head start on her weekend, her plans being that she was going to use that time to finish all her homework for the weekend so she did not have to get stuck doing it over the weekend since there were many more things that were more interesting over the weekend, like hanging out with friends that she had not been able to see over the week even though she did not have too many people that fell into that category with the exception of Branna and Igor.
She had known of Branna’s dream to be a neurosurgeon and she also knew that her parents were not going to have any part of that but really Quorra would always be the type to back her up if she decided that was going to be the route that she wanted to go, it was not that Branna’s parents were that old and they really did not need their daughter to take the throne right away so why not let her feel as though she had finished with her own dreams before she was going to take on the responsibilities of the throne, after all Quorra had dreams as well and her interests were quite secret because she did not want her parents to find out that she really wanted to go to school to study psycology since she knew that they were going to blow that off telling her that she was ridiculous, being Queen was something that was more important for her though and she knew that she was not going to allow things to get in the way of that meaning that she was probably not going to be getting a degree in anything but political science when she graduated since really that was the only major that she could see helping her in ruling the country, this she did not mind though because she knew that there were many people who wished that they were in her position and she was so determined to prove her parents wrong and be a good ruler that she knew that it was going to make her happy when it came the day that they were proud of her, though she did not want to get her hopes up knowing that even that might not be enough to impress her mother, tough crowd.
When Quorra stated that she was going to do the same and turned her phone off this seemed to excite Branna and she could not help but smile as the girl then tossed her phone onto the bed. She did utter that she was glad that she was not the only one that thought that Aniela was crazy, it was true that she did not have too much to do with the Polish princess but at the same time the things that she had seen and now recollected from her best friend it did sound as though she was a few screws loose when it came to her mental state and anyone that did something wrong regarding her best friend better beware of the wrath and they would never be considered an ally. While Quorra did not tend to have many friends she was unconditionally loyal to the ones that she did have. She did understand when Branna stated that she could not be too mad at him because she would have reacted the same way if it had been Quorra pushing Matvei into the lake and eyes were rolled slightly both of them knew the likelihood of that actually happening. She nodded when the girl asked if there was any movies that she would like to see that were out. I was thinking that we could see Bridesmaids, I meant to see it over the summer and did not get the chance and we will get good seats since it has been out for a little while. She waited to see what she would say about the idea before sprawling across her bed in order to wait for Branna to get changed and do her makeup and other things before they left since she was already dressed.

It wasn't unknown to Branna that Quorra's mother and Branna's mother were two very different women. Where Quorra's mother made Quorra think she'd never be good enough, Branna's mother made sure that Branna knew that she was so much more than what everyone expected her to be. For this reason, Branna always made sure that she never made her friend feel like she wasn't everything Branna treasured in a friend. Quorra honestly was the person Branna trusted more than anyone, even Matvei, though he was right there behind Quorra with Aisling. NOt that Aisling had ever given Branna a reason to not be trusted, but Branna just always had this idea that she had to be the strongest one in her family, at the very least her siblings, so she just never fully confided in or cried in front of Aisling. It was nice that Quorra and Branna bonded so well, especially because Branna had no idea what would have happened if she didn't have Quorra during those two years without Matvei and the absense of her servant and other best friend. Quorra was exactly what Branna needed, someone that was always there for support and there if Branna needed a hug or just to talk. Branna knew she could always go to BMatvei for a hug, but she couldn't exactly tell him everything she could tell Quorra without feeling embarrassed, there were just things you don't tell your boyfriend. Four years of being best friends with Quorra was easily one of the best things that happened to Branna, of course getting back with Matvei was there too, but she fought so much with him that she always needed Quorra to go to and complain and or just storm around the room and tell Quorra everything, eat ice cream and possibly cry. It was routine for the two girls to confide in each other and it worked great for the two shy girls who really didn't have many other friends, though Branna was now more outgoing than Quorra as she now had more friends than before and now even had enemies that she had done nothing to at all.
Branna could on occasion, be a total drama queen, so she didn't care that she threw her phone instead of calmly placing it on the bed. No one had ever really gone out of their way to harm Branna so it was very new to her to actually have someone do something for the fun of hurting her, and even worse it was her boyfriends close friend. Normally Branna would have made an even bigger fight with both Aniela and Matvei, but the entire thing had been so foreign to Branna. She had never had a problem with any of Matvei's friend and no one had ever tried intentionally to try and harm her physically, mentally sure, but never physically. Branna didn't even remember much about the Polish princess in the first place, as she hadn't really payed much attention to anyone but Quorra during her first and second year at Vineheart. She had never been intentionally mean to anyone first unless they messed with her family or friends, and really that had barely ever happened. None of Branna's friends were intentionally harmful, unless you counted Reena but really she didn't unless someone else started it first. She didn't see the point in surrounding herself in people who would only make a fool of themselves and have everyone hate them and be an embarrassment to their country and family. "Sure, no problem... what's it about? I haven't really payed attention to much this summer... or recently to be honest. I swear, that boy may be the death of me one of these days... especially with Aniela around. She might just off me one of these days for the fun of it." She was kidding, though again she didn't know if she was kidding entirely. Aniela honestly seemed like she enjoyed hurting people, but Branna didn't know if she was crazy enough to actually kill someone or maybe even hiring someone to do it. "Well, I'm going to go get ready. I should be ready in an hour to an hour and a half so if you want to order tickets online or whatever you can."
Branna hugged her friend one last time before grabbing a blue stripe short sleeve shirt, a pair of skinny jeans, her contacts, make up and shower supplies. After grabbing all her stuff, she moved into the bathroom and put her contacts in before she took a twenty minute hot shower, getting out and drying off before putting her hair cream in and blow drying her hair so it came down in it's dark wavyness. Her makeup was simple with just mascara, black eyeliner, gray eye shadow, pink lipgloss, and a bit of blush. Once she deemed herself ready, she walked back into her dorm room and looked around to see what else she wanted to wear with her outfit. Finally, Branna decided on wearing the necklace from her sister, the cuff bracelet from her brother, a ring with the words believe from Reena, a chocker necklace with the Irish colors and a soccer ball on both sides, a slytherin band bracelet, and a pair of super high tops and took her black coat out of the closet, knowing that the cold autumn air was just outside. "Alright, now I'm completely ready." She said with a big smile to Quorra and opened their dorm room door so they could leave. "We can take my car, because I need gas anyway." She explained before getting her key ready so the two girls could make a speedy exit from the school and to her car.

It was rather strange how you could be a part of a family and take on a role that you thought was absolutely needed when in reality it was never something that was asked of you, while she was not overly close with her siblings she was always the type to feel as though she was the stronger one of the siblings as well even though she was less outspoken it was just a part that came with being the eldest of the children and she knew that Branna knew this feeling well when it came to Aisling you never wanted to bother the younger members of the family with the problems that you thought to be above their heads and something that they would not have deal with yet in their lives and it was a strange feeling even though surely they would understand and be more than happy to listen but it was just human nature and she knew that it was not going to change any time soon. She was pleased that she was the one that Branna trusted the most since people needed someone like that in their lives and someone that was not going to be a part of the drama, the one problem with being close with family was if you had a problem with your own family you were not going to be able to talk to the one person without some sort of an opinion on it, Quorra was not really officially linked to any of Branna’s family even though she tended to get along with Aisling quite well. She actually got along with a lot of people quite well but that did not mean that she was close with them since it took a lot to get into her circle of trust and really did not take much at all to be allowed out of it once again when someone had done something wrong. Quorra would always be on her best friend side and there was no question about her loyalty and she really thought that it should be the way that a boyfriend was as well especially since the two had been through a lot in the last little while they seemed as though they were stronger as a couple because of it now and she was able to see that it was not just a highschool crush between the two of them or Brann would not have wasted her time and risked getting back together with Matvei unless there were some real feelings there that she was not willing to allow to be left.
She told her that she was going to be another hour in getting ready and she nodded she had a few things that she could do to keep herself busy in that time and she did not waste the time in opening her computer to order the tickets for them so that they would be ready for them when they arrived and they would not have to wait in line for them, after that she then sent a few emails one to her mother and one to her father before then finishing up an assignment that she had due next week and then sprawled on her bed for the rest of the time that she waited though it was nice to just lay there and not have anything that she really should be doing since that did not tend to happen often but she knew that she had gotten herself caught enough that the next week of school was going to be a little more lax with a little more time to herself so she would be able to focus on the after school activities. She looked up when Branna walked back into the room and smiled softly nodding when she commented that they could take her car since it needed gas. As long as you have enough gas to get to the station, I am not up for walking to the next gas station especially since neither of us have a phone. She said with a light chuckle, there was one time in the back of her mind that she remembered when she had been back in Chile and she had not watched the gas light on the car that she had been driving and ended up running it out of gas and it had been something so embarrassing to explain to her parents and it also had been a long walk to the next gas station, sure she was positive that she could have flagged down people by the side of the road but that did not seem like something that was proper for the crown princess of Chile to be doing, so when she realized that the next gas station was not in walking distance and by the time that she would arrive there it would be well past dark she had been forced to give up the idea of fixing the problem herself and she called her mother who sent a driver out with a gas can to fill the car up and get her back on the road and she got quite the lecture that night about making sure that she always kept the car full but she knew that it was just because they were worried about her since there were always people that were around that would not hesitate in trying to pick someone up by the side of the road even if they did not know that she was a princess. She pulled in a black pea coat as they were leaving the room and locked the door behind her when they stepped out into the hallway. Falling into step beside her they headed out towards the front door to where all the cars were parked, the halls at this time of the day on a Saturday tended to be quiet since people were already out for the day or they were in studying so therefore she did not see a single person worth saying hi to.

Laughing happily, Branna shook her head and put her coat on. "Nope, there is definitely enough to get us to the gas station, thankfully I know a way to the gas station that's much quicker. COme on, let's go. Believe me I have no dire need to walk to the movie theater." Branna had once taken a road trip with two of her Irish noble friends, Gunny and Faye, and her dance partner Kieran. The three ended up getting lost and had no gas, which meant they either had to wait and hope someone would find them or they would have to walk to the nearest town, with no cell service they split up and two started walking to town and two stayed back. Branna and Faye had been the two to stay back as Branna was the princess and Faye was a girl who hated to walk, so the two boys walked instead. "I like to run, but I have no intentions of having reporters trailing behind us. They'd have a field day with the idea of two crown princess' forgetting to fill the gas tank, and then come up with some stupid story about why we wouldn't be fit rulers. I know that is something neither of us want." She said with a smile and walked out the door.
Branna quickly linked arms with Quorra and made her way out the back door to the student parking lot. Thinking of where she had last parked her acr, Branna finally spotted her little black convertable and made her way towards it. It wasn't a very long walk so they made it to the car rather quickly. Branna clicked the the unlock button and opened the driver door. Getting in the car and situating herself, Branna handed Quorra a CD album. "Pick any one you want, it's a halfhour drive from the gas station to the theater, without traffic." She said with a bright smile and turned the car on once Quorra was in the car and had her door shut. Branna tapped her hands against her wheel, though always paying attention to the road, while she drove and sang along to the songs. She was a very careful driver but she never
It was only a five minute drive to the gas station, so it was a rather short few minutes. Getting out of the car and pumping the gas into her little convertable. After her car was filled with gas, she payed for the gas and got back in the car. "Time for the movie!" She said happily in a sing-song voice. Branna pulled out of the gas station and got on the correct lane to get to the right exit. "So what is this movie about? You never did tell me." She asked still keeping her eyes on the road.

She commented that she knew that she had enough gas in order to get them to the gas station and this was a relief to her since really she did not picture a nice day of relaxing meaning that they were going to end up walking their way to a movie and then they would surely have to call someone to pick them up and it would either be Matvei, a taxi or Igor because really she could not picture them calling anyone other than that in order to be their knights in shining armour and she was sure that if she needed to call Igor that she would never live it down. She would get the lectures over and over again about how she should have been a lot more careful and that she always should have had a plan and what not. She pulled on her jacket as well when she then walked with the girl in the direction of the hall and making sure to close the door and lock it when they were outside. Strides were long and light as she made her way down the stairs matching the strides with hers as they were then able to keep conversation up as they walked. She commented that she loved to run but she did not like the idea that they would be subjected to reporters that would surely see this as the perfect opportunity to harass them but she did not really know what this was like because she had remained in the shadows for the entire time that she had been at Vineheart which was strange for a crown prince or princess but she was much too shy to ever get herself in trouble and for all they knew she was sure that they were not even aware that there was a crown Princess of Chile. She did nod when Branna told her that she was sure that they would come up with some reason that they were not suited to rule their respective countries just because they had run out of gas. I can see that happening and I know that it would be something that would give my mother her perfect bait to convince my father that I am not worthy of Chile. She said with a small eye roll but quickly the comment was forgotten when they arrived at the door and she paused to hold it open for the other girl as they made their way towards the car that she recognized as Branna’s. Their arms were linked and this caused her to smile slightly as they walked in the direction of the car and she slid into the passenger’s seat when they arrived there. She had always been adamant to own her own car as well when she first got her driver’s license since she loved the freedom of it since she did not have a servant and it had never been something that she was interested in she tended to do all her errands herself and needed to be able to drive where she wanted when she wanted to do so. It was nice though to be able to sit in the passenger’s seat when someone else was driving though since it was a change. She was handed a CD case and knowing that the two of them seemed to have the same taste in music she chose one of the ones that was a burnt mix and put it in the CD player for the short drive to the nearest gas station. It was all a quick stop when she was barely gone before she was getting back into the car and uttering that it was time for the movie which caused Quorra to smile wider. She then commented that Quorra had never told her what the movie was about. I believe it is about a girl that gets married and her bridesmaids but really I do not have a clue much else I just know that it is a comedy and I really was in the mood for laughing. She told her and when they reached the theater she stepped out and waited for Branna to join her before walking in through the front door and getting in line, when they reached the front she paid for the two of their tickets before Branna was even able to respond and handed one of the tickets over to her before looking back up to where the movies were playing and seeking out the cinema.

A nice day of relaxing, definitely did not include walking such a far distance and then having to call someone to come and get them. Branna definitely didn't want to call Matvei to come rescue her, not when she was trying to calm down from the entire thing with him, Aniela, and everything else. She didn't want to call anyone else either, as she was a proud girl who hated having to call people for help. She wasn't a damsel in distress and would much rather be the one doing the saving than being the one who needed saving. It was just in her nature to be he strong one and never asking for help unless absolutely necesarry. Branna had seen more of the reporters than Quorra, as last year she got more of the gossip blog than she would have liked, and also because what happened with her and Kieran had somehow been slipped to the media and then all the drama with Matvei had even been brought into it. Thankfully, it was only in a tabloid so no one really believed it. Branna had successfully managed to stay in the shadows of good old Vineheart Academy, until the gossip blog wrote about how Branna and been flirting with Ric of Mexico. It had been harmless, friendly flirting, but it had caught Matvei's attention and ultimately made him try and contact her again. It had, of course, resulted in Branna and him fighting over texts, Branna basically destroying her room, and then crying to her sister and then Quorra. Nodding her head, Branna listened to Quorra say how her mother would use it to convince Quorra's father of Quorra's unworthyness of the throne. "Yeah, my da would have a field day and just pretty much blow up. Some of the nobles are questioning my ability to rule, especially after all the drama with Mattie and Kieran over the summer. I tell you, that was horrible." She said, though the last part was more to herself. It had been a fairly bad summer that ended up getting better as it ended.
Branna hadn't had a servant in almost three years now, as he had to leave to take care of his father who was sick and his mother had died years before. Her parents said something about getting a new servant, but she hightly doubted they would unless it was someone who already worked for them and really the only available person would be Kieran and she didn't think her father would send him knowing it would probably cause Matvei to be angry. She missed her servant terribly, as he had been her best friend before Quorra. One good thing, in Branna's eyes anyway, was the fact that Branna and Quorra shared a smiliar taste in music. Listening to what Quorra said about the movie, Branna could only laugh and nodded her head. "Sounds good to me, laughing would be a good idea. I need a good laugh, I've only wanted to scream the past day and a half, but what's done is done and I can't change anything though I sure would like to." She replied with a small smile. It was obvious that Branna didn't like Aniela and Matvei being friends, but Branna wasn't going to tell him who he could hang out with and who he couldn't. She hated controlling people and she wasn't about to be the girlfriend that tried controlling her boyfriend, she wasn't going to let him control her so she had no right to think she could control him.
Once they made it to the theater, Branna shut the car off and let Quorra get out before getting out herself and locking her doors. Taking the ticket from Quorra, Branna looked for the correct room where their movie was playing and bought a large popcorn with butter, a pack of butterfingers, and a large coke. "Do you want anything? We're going to share the popcorn but do you want a drink or candy?" She asked Quorra with a laugh. Branna loved movie theater popcorn, it was one of her favorite parts of going to the movies so she always ordered a large and shared it with whoever she was watching the movie with. Looking around for a bathroom, Branna handed Quorra the money for her food and anything Quorra wanted and quickly walked off to the bathroom so she woudln't have to miss any of the movie. After she got back, she took her popcorn, drink, and candy from Quorra and smiled brightly. "Ready to laugh? I know I am." She really needed this girls day with her best friend, she loved Matvei, but sometimes you just need your girls.

She was not the type of person that would like to call someone for help either and knowing that the person would either be Matvei or Igor did not appeal to her either since the fact that she was not thinking too much of the Russian prince right now after Branna told her about the story of Aniela and she would have a hard time biting back the words that would threaten to spill forth and she knew that Igor would be less and pleased at having to rescue them and she would surely not hear the end of it, he would come though, the two were close and she knew that she was one of his closest friends and he appreciated that she had spent all day with him the day before helping with his research. The next topic turned to the two of them both feeling the same, there were people in both of the two of their countries that were questioning their ability to rule and it was something that had hit her hard, but she did not want to remain on the somber subject when they were supposed to be thinking about today and just spending time with each other so she was kicking herself for bringing it up and glad when the subject seemed to fall silent between them and when Quorra told her about the movie she seemed as though it was a good idea and she looked rather excited. She commented that she needed to laugh after wanting to scream for the past day and really she did understand that feeling, she had been frustrated recently but for different reasons, when she returned to Vineheart every year it was almost as though it was a break for her since she was kept so busy by her mother over the summer with events for Chile but this time when she had come back for her final year it turned out that she was even more busy than she had been in Chile and it as slowly burning her out, something that she was able to recognize but as of right now there was nothing that she could do about it but watch herself crash and burn, there was nothing that she wanted to give up but she was seriously debated something that needed to go there was only so much time that she was going to be able to gather a second wind and hope that she could fight through the exhaustion. Today though would be a nice break and a nice time for her to feel as though she was catching up on relaxing though and she would be able to think of this issue a lot more later on and decide what was going to get cut from her schedule while she did not like that there was going to be something that she was going to have to cut out of her schedule it was essential and she needed time to herself in the last year of her school, it was only fair since she needed to enjoy her senior year and not be run off her feet all day every day. The rest of the ride was silent and they reached the theater in no time listening to the CD that had been playing in the car before she then stepped out and followed the other girl into the theater with a small smile. After she bought the tickets she asked if she would like anything. Maybe just a small coke, please. She uttered with a small smile while passing her one of the tickets that she had purchased. When she walked to the bathroom she finished gathering the food and stood there waiting because she simply did not have enough room in her arms to be able to carry all that they had ordered so when Branna returned she passed her the candy, popcorn and her drink before they walked in the direction of the number of their theater. She asked if she was ready to laugh and a bright smile crossed her lips. Always. She uttered gently and pushed the door open for the two of them finding that she was right when she had decided that this movie was going to be a good one since they were not going to have to battle for seats since it had been out for a while and she allowed Branna to choose where they were going to sit since really she did not know what the best choice was since it had been a long time since she had been to a movie, the last time was back in Chile when she had managed to convince her younger sibling to go with her and she did not even remember what they had seen, taking a seat beside her eyes were then raised to look at the screen as the few previews played and there were a few movies that were coming out that looked interesting before the feature presentation started.
